I purchased one of their firearms a few years ago with a lifetime warranty. It never fed correctly from the beginning so in December 2024 I emailed the company. I got a reply right away along with an RMA form and was told to send my firearm in for "updates" and that it would take a few weeks. I sent the firearm in with the form and it was delivered there on January 10 and signed for by ******. On February 21. I sent another email asking for an update on when it would be shipped back to me. On February 26 I got an email back from a ****** ***** saying that my firearm would be ready to ship back to me the following week. Since then, I have sent numerous emails and attempted to call their number (which only gets you a recording that says to email them.) No replies from them in 6 weeks despite numerous attempts on my part. It appears they have stolen my firearm and have no intention of returning it.

SCCY is not delivering on their promised rebates. I mailed them the required paperwork over 4 months ago (in early January of 2023). After not receiving the rebate debit card for 3 months I called and left a message. I received an email reply from "Ashley M*****" which is attached. Their email confirms they got my submission and "processed" my rebate but they have not mailed it yet, reportedly because they are too overloaded with rebate requests and just too busy. Ashley says in her email that she will get that in the mail to me as soon as she can but she has to "process" them in the order received. She says this after she has already stating it has been "processed". So which is it? Sounds like they are just making excuses. After waiting an additional 5 weeks, I still have not received it and there was no response to a followup email I sent. There is no excuse to make customers wait this long. Do they not have the money? Are the SCCY employees spending the customer rebates? Who knows? I am not the only one to file a BBB complaint about this exact same issue. They need to quit making excuses and quit making this their customers problem. They also need to quit advertising rebates if they lack the resources and or the good faith and common decency to fulfill their obligations. I want my rebate.

    Good Morning,

Due to the extremely high volume of rebate submissions received at the end of 2022, we are far behind and there is a delay; We do apologize.

We can assure you that you will receive the rebate.  We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to process all submissions.

We are processing our rebates in the order that they are received, and Mr. ******'s check will leave by the end of the week.

SCCY REBATE FRAUD 6 months waiting for rebate of $25 per handgun purchased 3 handguns owed $75 dollars as promised on their documents. Spoke early in April they said would be sent that month. Lies and Delays deserve national exposure for a company that touts itself all American and good. This company deserves to be known as Liers and Flim Flam artists to sell their weapons with a scam program.

    Good Afternoon,
Due to the extremely high, and unexpected volume of submissions received, we were behind, but we are fulfilling the rebates as quickly as possible. We do appreciate our customers patience and understanding during this process.
We spoke with Mr. ***** on 5-18-23 at 11:00 am and explained his check was being mailed that same day, which it was. I have attached a copy of check # and the stamped envelope.

In the desired settlement, the customer has requested a refund, we don’t offer refunds here at the manufacturer.

Purchase DVG-1 in December, 2022. SCCY was running $50.00 rebate offer. Submitted required paperwork prior to Jan 1,2023 as required. Have not received rebate. SCCY has said "they are working on it." Rebate should not take 4 months or longer to be sent.

Thank you for reaching out; we do apologize for the inconvenience in receiving your rebate. Unfortunately, due to the extremely high volume of rebate submissions received at the end of 2022, it has caused us to fall behind; However, your rebate submission has been processed and you should receive your rebate card within the next 2-3 weeks. If you have any other questions or concerns, please call 386-322-6336 and one of our representatives will be able to help you. Thank you and take care.
