      I signed up for a cancel anytime membership. I told an employee in person at the gym I needed to cancel my membership. They told me it was taken care of. *** I am getting called by a ***************** saying I owe money. This is not right. I cancelled my membership in person and was told it was processed by an employee.

      I was receiving personal training at Youfit in **************, **. I tried canceling the membership twice. The second time, the manager, ****, had me sign a cancellation agreement. I did not receive an email with the confirmation. I was billed again $180 on June 26th for personal training services. I need them to return my 180 and cancel my membership once and for all.

      I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Youfit Gym located in **********, **, concerning their exceptionally poor customer service and lack of transparency regarding membership terms and fees. Upon signing up for a membership, I was not adequately informed about the upfront terms or any associated fees. Subsequently, I sustained an injury that has severely limited my ability to participate in fitness activities. At no point during the signup process was I informed that providing a medical letter was necessary to halt membership payments. Despite this injury and providing the required medical documentation, I continued to be charged the monthly fee.I reached out to both the gym manager and regional manager to resolve this issue. Unfortunately, they displayed a lack of professionalism and empathy. The managers were dismissive and unresponsive to my concerns, and during one of my calls, the gym manager even hung up on me while I was still speaking.This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied and concerned about the management practices at Youfit Gym. I am seeking your assistance in addressing these issues to ensure that future customers are not subjected to the same treatment. I hope that by bringing this to your attention, necessary steps will be taken to rectify these problems and hold Youfit Gym accountable for their actions.---

      This gym is nothing short of a con. I canceled my membership in person almost 10 months ago, was told they would have the manager process the cancelation and I have not been back since. Find that my credit card is still being charged for the last 10 months, when I call to tell them there was a mistake, they're now telling me I was supposed to call in a number to cancel. Despite their employee lying to be and just canceling it and refunding me for the months I was charged wrongfully for, they ask me to PROVE THAT I WENT THERE. The girl at the front desk is a clown.

      I am filing this complaint to report deceptive practices by YouFit Gym located in *************, **. I was enticed into attending what was promoted as a free customer review session and was subsequently offered personal training sessions three times a week, each lasting one hour. Contrary to this offer, the sessions were only 30 minutes each. Despite this discrepancy, I was charged $420 for four weeks.To further my dissatisfaction, the gym changed my personal trainers twice without my consent or prior notification, disregarding my explicit request for a specific trainer. Additionally, the gym prematurely renewed my membership for another $420 before my initial sessions concluded, citing a policy that required me to notify them 30 days in advance of cancellationa condition that was not feasible as it would have required notification before the commencement of the sessions.This practice is unacceptable and constitutes a bait-and-switch tactic. My experience with YouFit Gym has been extremely negative, leading me to explore other fitness options. When I attempted to resolve this issue by contacting the manager, *****, he was uncooperative and refused to cancel the ongoing program or refund the new charges.I urge the Better Business Bureau to take my complaint into consideration and hold YouFit Gym accountable for their misleading and unfair business practices.

      Unable to cancel gym membership. I was a member of YouFit gym, and my it was transferred to another gym that I have never heard of. I just want to cancel my YouFit gym membership, and have nothing else to do with this company.

      I signed up for a YouFit gym membership with YouFit on May 15, 2024. The location address is *****************************************. On May 28,2024 I received an email what states this location will be permanently closed, and they have transferred my membership to another company (Planet Fitness).Not only did I not agree to this shift in selling my agreement, but the Planet Fitness locations are significantly out of the way.As of today, 5/30/2024 - I am required a contract buy out fee of $58. It is inappropriate to have a buyout fee in this situation. I imagine other members feel the same. I'd like to have this issue handled as quickly as possible without any media or alternative action required.Thank you BBB!*******************************

      I had just signed up for a yearly membership at YouFit Gyms. They closed down the location without any prior notice or notification. I chose this gym because it was close to my house and not too far out the way from my route home. They shut down the last building in ******* and transferred my account to Planet **********************. They broke their contract that we both agreed on and I am entitled to a full refund of my annual fee. I have been given the runaround by all entities involved including a third party billing company that is outsourced to *****. **************** and corporate are impossible to contact and I was given false promises by all parties involved.

      I submitted an email, as recommended by the manager (*****-no longer working at Youfit), on 6/6/2023 requesting for my membership to be canceled due to a medical diagnosis of breast cancer. On 5/31/2024 I saw the transaction Youfit $***** on my bank account. I contacted the Pines location where I participated and was told that my membership has not been canceled, and that my bank account has still been charged $***** monthly. I was advised to contact Youfit customer service at ************ to request a refund of $208.52 (***** x 13 months).I explained the situation to the representative, and also submitted an email on 6/3/2024. I also forwarded the email that was initially sent with the request on 6/6/2023. The representative gave me a hard time indicated that my request was never received so I cannot be refunded. I explained to her that the manager's incompetence to perform his duties does not cancel out my request. I was put on hold for a long time. The representative continued to say she can cancel my membership moving forward, but she cannot issue a refund because there is no proof my membership was canceled. Eventually, she canceled my membership, and put me on hold to consult with the Pines location. She told me she spoke to ****, the current manager, and he told her he will request a refund and in 2 to 4 weeks I will her from there. Below is a copy of the email confirmation:"Dear ******,Re: YOUFIT PEMBROKEPINES-PINESBLVD Account #: *********** Your account has been cancelled effective June 05, 2024, and for a refund as per the Club Manager he will be sending a request today and it will take 2-4 weeks. Thank you."I would greatly appreciate BBB's support in resolving this problem because I know that in 2 to 4 weeks I'll be getting excuses and the run around, like I've been getting.Thank you!*********************** ****************** 954-349610

      I been with YouFit over 2 years now and I want to cancel and theyre trying to force me to stay. This is wrong for any company to bully their customers in to business with them. I no longer want their services.
