This company does not have trucks, they lied, pretending to be a moving carrier, farming my contract to the worst moving company ************ if you want to call them that. They stole, damaged and mocked me for two months before delivery my things like trash torn open boxes and damaged furniture. My move is considered a catastrophic loss! ********, You and I went through it with this move with this carrier. We cancelled their contract and rightfully so. After the carrier picks up your belongings the job is handled by them but I try to mediate any issues. I know you and the owner of that company for some reason got into it because he thought you were picking on his son and things got out of hand from that point on. Paid $1000 up front, was told handel with moving care would be picking up my items and given a reference number of F3754853, for handle with care moving **********************. Had to call my move price to ask if they were going to get to our pick up destination before having to leave our apartment. A budget moving truck showed up the day before we had to be out of our old place. That was Aug 18th, 2024 it is now October 8th 2024. Our stuff still isn't here. Found out one moving company over booked so they sold out contract to another moving company without notifying anyone of the issues created. The driver of the truck would not allow us access to our property without paying $700, we were told by **** at my move price that we did not have to pay the $700. In order for us to get our stuff we had to go buy a U-Haul meet the driver at a specified location pay him at the $700, plus the hundred dollars just to rent the U-Haul in order for us to receive our items . This is Unacceptable, There have been a total of four parties involved in this situation, including myself, and there has not been clear communication at all. The fact that the company told me that I wasnt going to have to pay the money because the delivery had taken so long and then I was told I had to pay the money or I wasnt getting my stuff back is ridiculousCustomer Answer

Original transaction with my move price-broker company. Moving company Handle with care moving and transportation LLC job number: F3754853 telephone number ************** accepted the job. Here is the breakdown in communication. My move price assumed the job was still with Handle with care. Handle with cares truck broke down and Handle with care assigned our move to another moving company: TSSJ Moving **************. I was not contacted, neither was my move price. The "other" moving company showed up to our house, didn't disclose who they were, had me sign a different contract and moved our stuff. For over a month my move price and myself attempted to locate my belongings after our move. **** (my move price) talked with owner of the original company, **** sent a text message to my boyfriend stating we wouldn't have to pay the $700 delivery charge for all the confusion, mix-up and miscommunication. On-delivery post hurricane ****** a different moving truck company with a driver by the name of ***** US DOT: ******* stated that he wouldn't give us our stuff until the debt was paid. Due to all three companies not communicating the customer is suffering. Pick-up 8/18, ***********/14 and their reasoning was the previous hurricanes made it impossible to travel.Initial Complaint

I was lied to regarding the estimate of this move. My items should not have taken up more than ***** cubic feet. I was charged for ***** cubic feet. Estimate 1 w/ My Move- 674cubic feet for $3,300. Estimate 2 w/ My move- ***** cubic feet for $5,660.00 Total actually paid- $5,997.32 You held my items hostage unless payment was made, even though I was actively communicating with you regarding the invoices being incorrect. I was lied to and was not informed that my items were put into storage. This was not authorized, I was informed my items would be loaded and moved immediately to my drop off location. The driver who delivered my items he did not have any DOT documentation. There was no weight ticket. He arrived later than what he said he would, with a budget rental truck. The "Interstate Bill of Lading Contract" I was forced to sign to receive my items is INCORRECT. Again, I was charged $7.00 per cubic feet when I should have been charged $6.00. Again a gratuity was added, it was NOT authorized. $729.60 of gratuity was added to my final payment making it $1,998.32. When I booked this move, I was informed a team of professionals would take apart and reassemble my items. This was not done. Per section 9 of my contract with My Move, I have a "binding to not exceed" and the total cost will not exceed the estimated amount I provided. This was not done. Per My Move contract I have a standard cargo protection up to $10,000 base on $0.60 per pound. Since the driver did not weigh my items I do not even have the ability to figure what my refund should be. This business used a 3rd party claim company called Moving Claims to issue a refund. They are offering $89.00 for the entire claim. No gratuity has been refunded. Refund was based on $0.60 per pound, but no weight was ever taken so this cannot be accurate. I have attempted calling and emailing to have this corrected and I have not received any response.Initial Complaint

This company under-quoted me, didn't show up on time, screwed me over, tried to charge me double when my hands were tied, lost/damaged tons of my items, and clearly don't need to be in business. We hired My Move Price to move our belongings from *************** to *******************. We paid the deposit around the 8th of August. 1000$. They came to pick our property up on the 18 of August when at that time we paid an additional 700$. My move price contracted handle with care moving and transportation llc to move us. I have been in contact with ****** at my move price as well as ****** at handle with care *************************************** and no one knows where our belongings are and both companies are telling us to call each other they dont know what to tell us.Business Response

Once my move price gets your business/money they ghost you on follow up concerns ie where is my delivery, movers strong arming on the price agreed upon. I moved from ***** ny to ********** ***** with Hollywood Van lines. Deposit was agreed upon with broker with 50% due at pick up and 50% due on delivery. The movers tried to get 65%. That was settled with the broker but now the movers are trying to strong arm a higher price by 400 because they messed up. My SIGNED contract has the remaining balance due but to an error on the dispatchers part they are trying not to deliver as promised. I was given a delivery date of 9/14/24 but received a message that "due to technical difficulties they won't deliver until Monday". Called the number I got the message from and my call is being declined. Calling 4 different ppl/numbers at my move price I am getting no answer or callbacks. As a broker you are supposed to be the intermediary. Why is that not happening.Business Response

Spoke with **** on 8.20.24 about moving us out of state.Explained what was to be moved,that we would need help packing and might need some boxes.**** was told we had pictures,floor lamp,tools,lawn mower,chainsaws.he said not a problem they would bubblewrap pictures and stuff.we agreed on a price said he needed a ****** deposit had to be a check. We would talk again on Monday to go over everything and set up date truck would arrive. Called on Monday and everything changed we were told they don't help pack,they don't bubble wrap,would be extra charges to take lawn mower,chainsaw, I had to take pictures of everything including all boxes,different sizes,pictures of everything and send to them.this is not what we asked for we were given a price for total move. There wasn't suppose to be any additional costs,they said they would pack and provide boxes now they don't. In March of 2024, I contracted with the moving company, "My Move Price", Ref: No.F3748961, to move me to ******** and paid them an $1801.00 deposit on March 15th. I contracted Covid in mid April and left messages with both ******** and ***** that I was cancelling the move because of illness but received no return calls. I decided to wait to see how I would be affected by the Covid and did not attempt further calls until August 19th at which time I left messages at 12noon at ************ and to "*****", ************ at 1:10pm. I left him another message at 1:20pm.I then called ************ and left a message for "the general manager "****" who said he would call me back in 10 minutes. He never called.On August 19th, having heard nothing from My Move Price, I left a message for ***** ***** at ************ that the move was cancelled.With several of my calls, I got switched from one person to another, most who spoke with a foreign accent and I got absolutely nowhere with any of them.I don't know if there is anything you can do to encourage this company to refund my $1800, but I strongly believe that in any way possible, they need to be sanctioned.I would appreciate a response.Respectfully,**** ****** ************ ******************* P.S: I attempted to file this complaint with the BBB office in *****, Oh, ************, and after leaving 4 messages, I received a callback stating that they were moving and that I should re-file in about a week.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: when it was determined that I was physically unable to go through with the move, I called the company on August 19, 2024 and left messages for “Barry Russo at 323-885-8965 who did not respond. I then left a message for the general manager “Tony” at 615-278-5005 who said he would call me back in 10 minutes. He never called. I was shuffled from one person to another as if they were playing a game.I hope you are able to get my much needed $1800 returned to me as I don’t know where else to turn.

I was quoted a cost of $1500 in April. I paid a nonrefundable $500 payment. When i called to verify my pickup date two days before my pickup, the cost was changed to $8,000. I told them I reported my inventory correctly when they quoted me. After back and forth we agreed on the price of $5800. Items were picked up June 26th with the delivery date of July 19th. I called to verify delivery and they told me for efficiency purposes it was not going to arrive the 19th and they had 21 business days to conplete delivery. They told me it would be delivered Aug 4th. Nothing was delivered nor communicated. They then apologized and said no later than Aug 11th. Again, nothing delivered and no courtesy calls to notify me. When I asked for compensation, they said they legally had 30 business days. We are now at 30 business days with no update or communication.Business Response
