      Feb 29, 2024 I went here to due severe sciatica pain & was advised I needed an epidural but they needed to get an approval from my insurance company (******). in the meantime I was prescribed heavy duty pain meds and on April 11, 2024 I requested to self pay while they still work it out with the insurance company. On August 15, 2024 I started with sciatica on the other side of my body. During this appointment I was told by the doctor they would contact my insurance company, which is now ****************** and asked me to come back at 3:00pm for the epidural. Upon arrival I was told ************* would not approve the epidural and I would need to self pay but this time they would not fight it stating they changed their procedures. On June 29th I called to see if Humana approved the epidural and was told yes and that they will fax me a document to fill out in order to get my reimbursement. I was also told it would take 4-6 weeks for the check to be ready. I called on 8/6/24 & 8/7/24 and left messages. On 8/8/24 I spoke with Loi who stated she escalated my request as to why the check has not been issued to her supervisor. 8/22/24 I spoke with **** who stated she would check the status and get back to me which did not happen. On 8/29/24 I called and spoke with Loi and she stated I had an open balance and until my account was at 0 they would not refund me the money. I stated there is not a balance since I self paid for both epidurals and was told ****************** had not paid them for the office visit in August which was not related at all the 1st epidural. On 9/27/24 I was told by **** I still had a balance. On 10/11/24 I called ****************** and was advised they did pay electronically on 8/27/24. I was also advise by ****************** that they did not request an approval for the 2nd epidural. I have left 5 more messages and no one has had the decency to return my calls.

      This complaint is for my elderly mother as I take care of her medical appointments and manage her billing. She went to this doctor here on 5/2/2024 To get a back brace. We were forced to pay a co-pay of $441.48 to get the brace even though it had not yet been run through her insurance. We complied as we wanted to get the brace. A few weeks later, her insurance processed the claim and it was completely paid. No co-pay was required by my mother. In June, 2024 we went back to the doctor and I filed a refund request for the $441.48 and provided the *** information. Also, the receipt for the brace and the *** from the insurance is attached here. It is now mid November, 2024 and they have not issued a check. I have called 11 times since mid-July and only talk to someone who can only note the call and leave a message for the manager, ********* to call me. No one has called. The person answering the phone when selecting Refund does not have any authority to expedite the refund. I have been told the refund is valid, yet they seem unable to cut the check and to contact me to pick it up. This is a lot of money for an elderly person and they were very quick to take the money but 5 months and counting to return it. Charging a co-pay without running it through the insurance seems to be fraudulent to me and they prayed on someone desperate to get a device to help them heal by forcing the payment.I just want to get the check so we can deposit it into my mom's ********** mother's information is all in the attached documents. Thank you.

      I had surgery in February 2024 and I am due a refund of over $700. Their policy on their website states refunds will be given within ************************************ April. On top of that, the office is nearly impossible to reach. Upon looking on **** it seems like this business is doing this to many many patients

      This was at a orthopedic office.spine Ortho center glades Rd. ********** Florida 33434.*************.this was my 2nd time there . First time was a visit to talk about my welpain. So I my next appt was 6/6/2024. This office was to make a referral for me for that date. So I go there on the 6th. I sign in the receptionist said there is no referral . I said you all were to do that young man name ****** is in referral ***** She said if you want shots and the exrays it will cost you ****** for shots plus ***** dollars for X-rays. So I put it on my credit card. I did get my shots also X-rays. I waited 10 days to get shot done. So now I get a summery from ****** my insurance saying they payed 2 weeks after the service. They gave me a hard time ,saying I did not do my appeal in 60 days. I tried to call the spine clinic just do not answer the phone. So now the insurance co dismissed my appeal. I have been working on this for months. I told them I was in pain. It did not mean to do anything wrong. They could care less about me as a patient. Will not refund me

      On 1/19/2024 first visit I was told to pay $288.63 by the front desk. I called ******** and was told my responsibility is for $170.28. The office overcharged me by $118.35. I was told to complete their form 'Patient Refund Request Form which I did on 2/02/2024. I have called numerous times to mention. You cannot contact anyone, your only option is to leave a voice message which they do not return. On 4/25/24 I left a message for supervisor ********* to call me. She did call back to say she denied the request and I would need to complete another request for refund form. No explanation for denying request. On 5/2/2024 I went back to the *************** Office to complete the 'Patient Refund Request Form' the staff scanned the from to billing ***** On 05/14/2024 I left a message for billing and I received a call back from Lolo in billing, she confirmed I have a credit balance of $118.35 and would forward to the **** to issue the check which can take 30 days. I called 8/5/2024 I called and spoke with *** in refunds and she told me the check has not been issued? No explanation and would have her supervisor call me back. No call back. Since 02/2024 I have called over 23 times and NO ONE returns your call. Please help with having them issue my refund check. I will drive to the billing office to pick it up. Appreciate anyone who can help me collect my money. Thank You.

      Date of service was 02/19/2024. I paid a $243.15 for an office visit and $75.00 for an X-ray.The cost of the Office Visit was only supposed to be $182.80 and the cost of the X-ray was supposed to be $34.94 Therefore they owe me a total of $100.43 I submitted a form for the refund since April and so far every time I call they keep telling me they are behind and I need to wait a little bit longer.This is unacceptable.

      My mom (***************************) who does not have an health insurance and paid out of pocket for doctors visit was forced to buy a back brace (worth $1221.25) in spite of her asking if she can get it from outside. She returned it next day and they have not refunded the yet even after two months

      The patient's son has **** spoken to on multiple occasions regarding this matter. He has spoken to a manager on 4/25/2024, 4/29/2024, 5/3/2024, and 5/10/2024 (previous to his complaint). He has been explained that due to the return of a ***, which we do not accept returns, and further research is needed to ensure the *** was returned/received by our office. Then, our tem will review and process if there is any possible refund. Furthermore, he has been explained that 30 business days is the turn around time for a refund to be processed.

      I am rejecting this response because: the item was returned at the ***************** on March 28th 2024. It is been almost three months now and no decision has been made, not sure why the business is taking this long for the refund. They took the item when I returned it and never gave me a return receipt, they are delaying and refusing the refund purposefully. There are lot of similar complaints against this on ****** reviews. I would really appreciate if they can expediate the refund so my mom can get her money back for an item she never used and don't have it.

      Not sure why the business is delaying the refund. The item was returned at the ********** office on March 28th, 2024.       I had hand surgery on my right hand on 12/15/22 and hand and elbow surgery on my left arm on 4/25/23. When I became a patient at this establishment, they were made aware that my insurance is ******** and I am on the qualified ******** beneficiary program, which does not allow them to bill me for a co-pay coinsurance or deductible. I had surgery on two separate dates four months apart as well as pre-surgery appointments and postoperative appointments. I did not receive a bill until September 2023. I have called the office explaining to them that I am ***, I have gone to the office and spoke to the front desk. I have also sent a certified letter containing the explanation of benefits that proves that I do not owe anything. However, they continue to mail me bills and harass me by calling me and leaving me voicemails telling me that I owe at that money. The last phone call I received was on Friday 4/12/24 demanding payment and threatening that my bill will go to collections. I tried going to a follow up appointment because I still have pain and I was denied seeing the doctor because I did not pay the balance. Federally if you are on the *** program, a practice is not allowed to bill you. It is illegal. I am attaching a copy of the bills as well as the explanation of benefits from ********. I want the practice to stop unjustly billing me and for my balance to reflect zero and I would like to follow up with my surgeon Dr. ******

      Hello, I noticed that my complaint was not published on the company BBB. If they dont respond, it doesnt get published? I happen to know that they have ongoing issues with other patients on their yelp and ****** website. However, on this site, they dont have any complaints for two years. Why is that?

      Back in July of 2023, my son was in a rehab center and was taken to see ****************** of Spine & Orthopedic Center. At that time, they charged my HRA card for $48.53 to cover what they said was a deductible and wouldn't see him unless it was paid; however, the deductible on my health plan was already met and so they now have a credit balance on their account. I have reached out to this office at least 6 times by phone and spoke with a billing person by the name of **** who told me I needed to fill out a refund form on their website. I did that and waited for a couple of weeks and never heard anything back so I called again. She said they never received it so I did it again. Once again, I didn't hear anything back and so I called and was told the same thing -- that they never received it. At that point, she said I could fax the form to them and they would process the refund that way. I did this on November 13th along with sending copies of emails that I received from Cigna showing that they suspended my HRA expense card until this matter was resolved. I've since reached out again two more times, because I've heard nothing back from them. They told me that they received the fax and the billing supervisor by the name of ********* would call me to let me know when I could pickup a check. To date, ********* has not called me and I am not sure what else to do to get the refund so I can send it to Cigna to get my HRA card unlocked. At this point, I want the FULL refund mailed to my home address instead of having to be inconvenienced again by having to drive out of my way to pick up a check. This business has MANY other complaints for the same thing. When will someone put this place out of business and make them return all of the money they have taken from their patients?!? The documents that I have attached are my proof that I have contacted this business for my money back. PLEASE help shut this place down!!!!
