The Daytona Pennysaver continues to throw their newspaper on my property every Thursday. They do not have a working contact phone number. I have not asked them for this paper and I have not subscribed to any of their services. I am trying to get them to stop, but there is no way to contact anyone working for this company.Initial Complaint

As a new owner for months I have been trying to contact the Pennysaver (tried any and all #'s and emails) but frustratingly get a disconnect or other Pennysavers in ******* I can reach offer no help saying "they are not in the chain". I even posted a sign on my front lawn on Wednesdays "NEW OWNER - I DO NOT WANT THE PENNYSAVER DELIVERED". Please help me. I do not want these on my lawn or in my driveway especially when I travel as it looks like no one is home - and I'm not. It's a security issue!Initial Complaint

I am receiving delivery of the ***** Saver newspaper and would like it to stop. I have been unable to communicate this request as all phone numbers available online are disconnected. The Volusia Pennysaver weekly newspaper is delivered to all homes in our area. Many houses are rentals and/or part time residents. There is no information in the newspaper that allows you to contact them and stop deliveries (phone number to call or email address). The newspapers are a nuisance as they sit in the driveways, get blown into the street, creating a tripping hazard, and they easily let criminals know if someone is not home. The ****************** says it is a 1st amendment right and they cant do anything about it. Someone needs to stop them from littering out streets and creating the nuisance they are creating.Initial Complaint

After multiple attempts and finally reaching a live person on the last call, this publication continues to be thrown at the end of my driveway. Due to medical conditions with balance and walking in general, it has become dangerous to walk to the end of the driveway to get this paper without the possibility of falling again. I have tried everything within reason to have the deliveries stopped but they just ignore me at this point. The problem has necessitated my contacting BBB. Hopefully you will have some insight to an ultimate resolution. Please let me know if you are aware of any solutions I can investigate.Business response

I have started to receive the penny saver thrown on my driveway every week. I have not subscribed to or asked for this service. I live in an HOA with a clear sign posted no soliciting or entry if not a deed owner. I am sometimes gone and do not want these accumulating on my driveway alerting passersby that I'm not home. I've tried all the numbers listed and they are all disconnected. No one to contact. No number listed in the paper either. I just want it to stop.Business response

Please accept this as confirmation we have received a complaint from your offices regarding ****** ***** and the delivery of the Penny Saver advertiser. We apologize for any frustration this may have caused. This publication has been being delivered to this address since 6/1/2011 under the listing of "Resident". I have sent a request to the District Management team to have it permanently stopped at this location as of the next delivery date of Wednesday,11/29/2023.

I am rejecting this response because:This is not true. I have lived in the home since 2018 and only started receiving in a plastic bag thrown on my driveway recently. After submitting to the BBB I called the advertisement number and spoke to someone to stop delivery. Was assured it would stop but am still receiving it thrown on my driveway. It’s not just me, but my entire street.

I have called twice asking to stop delivery of paper as I am disabled and cannot pickup the paper from my driveway and they keep delivering after being told they will stop. Tried calling again for the 3rd time in six months and all their advertised numbers are invalid. HelpCustomer response

Hello, I am having an issue with Classifieds.News-journalonline.com in West Volusia County Fl. They deliver the Pennysaver at my home. I have contacted them several times to have the delivery stoped because I do not want unsolicited mail thrown in my driveway. They said they would cancel the delivery but I continue to get the deliveries even after four weeks. I called the volusia county office at ************ but that number is out of order. I also called the surrounding area Pennysavers and they are also out of order. I called the headquarters at ************ and the address is **** ******** *** *** ****** *** ***** ***** and they have a website of PennySaverPlus.com.Theysaid that each pennysaver is operated on their own.Not sure how to stop this. I have requested a minimum of 3 times for them to stop delivery of their publication at my residence. Now there isn't even a contact number for the Pennysaver unless I want to advertise. I am a Sr citizen and shouldn't have to pay someone to clean up their paper from my driveway every week. I have never requested this paper nor do I want it. Please, someone help!!! I just want this to stop!
