1 starThis is the absolute worst insurance company ti deal with! I was in a car accident with someone insured by Mendota. It's been h*** trying to get a callback or response from this company! My claim adjuster from Mendota is ****** ****** and she is a nightmare to work with. She never answers her phone or responds to voicemails or emails from me, my lawyer or the claim adjuster from my insurance. I'm trying to get my out of pocket costs reimbursed along with my deductible(which should've been reimbursed a long time ago). The one time she did call me back, she asked me to send her proof, but my lawyer and adjuster sent that to her already. But I sent it again, and still haven't heard back since then! I've contacted her supervisor *********** *****, but haven't heard from him either! Consumers please don't ever use this company and I apologize and send my sympathy if you ever have to deal with them in the future! Worst insurance company I've ever dealt with!Review fromLaura Z

1 star6/28/24, my son's truck and another vehicle (a rental car) were hit by someone insured with Mendota. We tried calling on the 29th, and were told we would receive a call back within ***** hours. We never got a call back. 7/5/24 and 7/8/24 I called and left several messages. I got a call back on 7/8/24 and was told how to begin the claim.7/16/24, I called and left a message wanting an update. 7/17/24, I called again and said that I would be calling every hour on the hour until someone either answered or called me back. That got me a call back from insurance adjuster *** *****. She apologized and told me she'd been out with Covid and that we were still waiting to hear back from the rental company, she then said I could text her for updates. 7/31/24, I texted for an update - still waiting on the rental car to turn in their info and I was told I would get an update when she got one. 8/22/24 I reached out for an update - nothing from the rental agency yet I was told, and *** apologized for not reaching out she "had Covid" again. 9/5/24, I reached out again the other vehicle was allegedly still in the shop and I would be informed when they heard from them. 9/26/24, I reached out again, *** told me they were still reviewing the info they got back allegedly the same day I spoke with her before. I asked why I wasn't told the info had been received, *** was out "with Covid" for THE THIRD TIME IN THREE MONTHS. When I mentioned this, she called, and I was not spoken very nicely to. I asked for a manager, was told one would call, surprise, never got a call. When i did get ahold of ****** ******* he provided me with the information and get the process started immediately to get us paid. So clearly *** had the info and didn't want to help us. Between the initial email with ****** to the final one where I was told payment was issued 10 unanswered emails. Very unprofessional and don't want to pay out unless pressured. I previously spoke with your adjuster, ****** *******, but as of today, there has been no progress regarding the repair of the vehicle.This vehicle is essential to my business, providing limousine services, and each day it remains out of service results in significant financial losses. I respectfully request that you use your office to expedite the processing of this claim to mitigate further disruption to my business operations.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I was told my car would be towed to the dealership, and the adjuster will not answer any of my calls or emails on updates on it or anything! 1 starI was rear ended by a party carrying this insurance on June 19, 2024, I was told I would get a call in ***** hours, here it is July 9, have heard from no one, called the claims department again, was given a different adjuster to deal with. Crickets in hearing from someone. I don't understand how this company is in business!! I work at a law firm and would like to send a demand letter, but feel that will get me no where. 1 starIm not sure where to start but here goes I start by saying the customer/client is always right even when they are wrongI got in a accident with mendota county mutual insurance company towards the end October 20 2023 hit from the back (im not at fault) exchanged info coolWent to the phone and started my claim coolfrom that day forward up until now which we are approaching mid may 2024 (7-6mo) from the initial date of accident,,I was assigned to ************************,,I was told she would be in contact with me in the next 24 hrs so I waited patiently 24hrs 48hrs 72hrs which we counting business days need I mind you the accident happened on a Friday (yea),,I myself am a direct and openly communicative that just wants to be in the knowing,,,so after some time I call again to restart my claim process cuz Im thinking maybe they forgot which would be understandable I get it,,,after being on the phone getting threw tells my same adjuster will contact me in 24hrs okay cool,,,on the 48th hour I get a call from my soon to be claim handler which was basically her point of contact just to say she started looking into it November 2 is the day we are in correspondence of me sending damages done of my vehicle this info had to just sit in her files Im pretty sure she works from home because I once called asking whats going on with my claim she said she never received the info which was a lie because I sent threw via email and txt my frustration did make me hostile because why when I give you my name and claim number all the info isnt there but I calmed down I know it can be a burden with many claims and frustration but I didnt ask to deal with you guys your insurer faulted me and crippled my finances,lifestyle,and Im still suffering,,,so 4-5 weeks later car just sitting cant drive Im bumming rides not being able to hold up my end of obligations to my kids mom,not making a fraction of what I was making before the incident and threw the mist and chaos I missed see yelpReview fromMichael S

1 starMy car was hit by their insured on Jan 26, 2024 and today is May 7, 2024. I have dashcam footage proving that their insured is at fault, so there is nothing to dispute. At this point, I have received just a single letter in the mail notifying that they received my claim. I have called numerous times and can only leave a voicemail, which is never returned. I have emailed many times as well. I have my doubts that this company actually exists at this point. If you have a claim from Mendota (aka advantage auto) where they will need to pay you money, I recommend immediately using an attorney or you will likely never hear back.Review fromJennifer D

1 starI placed a claim in January 2024 till this date 03/04/2024 I have not had one phone call or text return from the adjuster ***************************. I have left numerous messages and text to her personally with not so much as one return call or text. At all costs I would find elsewhere to spend my money for insurance ...there's a saying "you get wat you pay for" enough said. 1 starStay away from this insurance. Processing claims and receiving payment is like pulling teeth. Adjusters are rude and ************************* their supervisor lies. Look elsewhere. I can't believe companies like these exist. I clicked one star because I had to, otherwise it would be none.
