Extended warranty denial. We purchased a new recreational vehicle, a 2017 Jayco Seismic 4212 model. We also purchased the extended warranty. Prior to taking possession of the unit, the seller performed an inspection of the unit for which I have a copy of the report. The inspection revealed roof damage and the technician recommended the roof be replaced. It was not replaced. We were not made aware of this issue at the time. Prior to the expiration of the manufacturer two year warranty, which is separate from the extended warranty, we complained about roof damage along with window leaks and rear door lights hitch are located very near the roof and are indicative of water sipping. Again, they chose not to make proper repairs of the roof. They just placed a few patches on the roof. A week ago we took the unit to the dealership where we purchased it and they are also responsible for any extended warranty repairs. They denied the roof claim. Instead they suggested we use our *********************** (Progressive) policy claim # **-6737523. This claim was denied. Reason stated was that there was no signs of collision damage to roof area and that damage was caused by extended sipping of water which damaged the wood under the unit membrane. It is also a preexisting condition which is not covered under the unit insurance policy.Basically my complaint is against ***** for not honoring and repairing the damage when first reported and also RV One for not honoring the extended warranty.I have documentation for my statements
