This business advertises by dumping rolled up pieces of paper around the neighborhood. Intentionally littering is not a legal form of advertising. This is at least the 4th time in 5 months every house in our neighborhood has had flyers dumped in every single lawn. This practice needs to be stopped.Initial Complaint

Every single week they throw papers onto my yard. I have stopped him multiple times, and he told me to f*** off. I have called the company multiple times and they just end the call. We have no slicing signs ************ of our neighborhood and all around my house. Yet he still comes every week. Please do something.Initial Complaint

This business is littering our community with advertising rookies into about a cigarette sized roll, bound with a rubber band. They are throwing them into our yards and our driveways, and getting into the roads. When it rains they go down the storm drains.Initial Complaint

I am tired of picking up your litter that you're trying to advertise by throwing pieces of paper and everybody's yard tired of running it over and well kept yards with my mower and having to pick up pieces of paper that you have printed and rolled and put a rubber band on everywhere I mean like. This business has a history of illegal marketing that has been both documented and addressed by the City of Port Orange (File# *****). They routinely drive through neighborhoods littering everywhere throwing little rolled up flyers all over the lawns and streets within various communities in and around the Daytona area. It has become so bothersome, that our HOA has formed a task force to pick up their trash when they target our neighborhood to avoid the mess, the confetti when lawn mowers hit them, and the security risk for our part-time residents. Their soliciting is neither welcomed nor tolerated in our community. They need to stop before some of our residents start taking matters into their own hands. A quick search identified the owners' home in Edgewater, and some homeowners have discussed taking out their frustrations on his own property. The BBB site, Yelp, the city's code enforcement site, ******** and even ****** are filled with complaints all of the same nature. They may be a good company, and they may even do a good job, but this is not about their quality of service, but rather a deliberate request for them to cease and desist all marketing efforts in our communities. We have spoken to the HOA boards of ******** ****** ****** ****** ******* ***** ******** ***** *** ******** ****, and we are ALL fed up with their abusive tactics. It must stop!Initial Complaint

I met with Mike J**** (owner) in June 2022 & discussed the resod of my front lawn with St. Augustine grass (4 pallets), removal of ligustrums, cutting 1/2 off roots of a tree growing above ground, and hauling all trash. We agreed on the terms of an amount of $2,575. The old grass was removed one day and the crew neglected to remove the ligustrums and did not cut 1/2 off the roots of a tree. I called and was told they would do so when they return to resod my lawn the following day. The next day the crew came and one individual was acting very erratic (neighbors complained), and approximately 50% of my front yard contained large gaps, and certain portions of my lawn did not contain new sod. One of the workers admitted that one of the individuals who assisted with laying my sod did not know what he was doing and messed up a large portion of my lawn. He stated that he would report it to Mike J****, and I told him I would do the same. Mike stated that the guy that acted erratic and laid the lawn incorrectly was not a guy he typically used and that one of his main guys was out and could not perform the job, unfortunately. He then proceeded to say that the remaining sod would be taken back to the facility and watered daily to keep it from dying and he would send a crew back out the following week to fix the problem. I told him that was unacceptable, & the issues needed to be fixed the following day. A crew came out the following day & corrected most of the issues. They neglected to cut around the sprinkler heads and left certain areas incomplete. Nevertheless, I paid for the service. I was given a watering schedule by Mike J**** & crew and my sprinkler system was set to water my lawn as directed. Less than 2 weeks later, my lawn began to die at a rapid rate. Within a few days, my lawn was completely dead. I called the company several times and I was told that Mike would give me a callback and he never did. I would like a refund or my lawn repaired.Initial Complaint

Joe came out on _______ gave me price of $135.00 to cut lawn & trim bushes. Said they would come out on Friday Aug 5th 2022. An invoice was sent to my email and I paid it through Quickbooks. Fast forward today is Aug 5th never showed up, I texted 386-847-8888 to find out when they would be out to do my lawn... NO RESPONSE!! I'm not happy I've been scammed by a no good lier of a person named Joe!!Initial Complaint

I was quoted $100 per month to cut my lawn weekly starting for June 2022 by Mike J****. I called the office to set up service and I was told my lawn service would be on Thursday or Friday as that is when the crew is in my area. I gave my email address and paid via Quick Books. No show Thursday June 2nd so I called on Friday June 3rd and was told by office that they were catching up from Memorial Day and my lawn would be cut Sat June 4th. It is now 5:30 on Sat June 4th and no one has showed up to cut my lawn. My credit card was charged $100 on June 3rd. I left a voicemail that I need a call from the office on Monday June 6th before noon to tell me that my card will be credited the $100. I am filing the complaint anticipating the company will respond with excuses. The company was marketing the area and left a flyer in my driveway, which is why I called. As a lawn service company, perhaps they shouldn't be marketing for new customers if a planned holiday has them running behind. It has barely rained in my area, Ormond Beach for the past 6 weeks, so using rain as an excuse is not an option either. I thought that if a lawn service company was marketing in May/June, they must be expanding and flyer stated in business since 1993, so not a fly by night. I didn't even THINK to google them based on that information. My mistake!!! Had I googled before today (Sat June 4th), I would have seen the BBB complaints AND same complaints on Yelp and never even would have called them. Mike and Greenscape Outdoor Services LLC has wasted my time, provided no lawn service and I demand my credit card be issued a refund for the $100 that cleared on June 3rd 2022Business response

Consumer Response /* (2000, 9, 2022/07/05) */ Anyhow, after delays and a few more lies from the company, they sent me a check for $100 dated 6.9.22 but not mailed until 6.14.22. It has cleared my bank, so this is resolved.
