I paid $3000.00 to have Greenscape outdoor services LLC phone number 386-747-2888 sod my front and back yard. Mike J**** the sales person told me Bahia sod was the best to use. I trusted him and believed him. The brought in pallets of chunks of sod laid it and it all died within a couple of months. I had a sprinkler system put in also to help the sod grow but it died anyway. They wouldn't return my calls and sent me a check for $100.00 because there was one full pallet they took back. It cost me $5000.00 between the sod and sprinkler system. Sam Sula sod just resoded my back yard for $1400.00 3 weeks ago and it is growing beautifully. They will be coming back to resod my front yard. Greenscape has taken my money and never made good on my yard they sodden. They wouldn't even come back to look at it. Now I'm paying another company to do the job I paid them to do. I would like some compensation to help pay for my yard that I now have to resolve. I am so disappointed and upset that they took advantage of a single older woman. Please help me.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/04/15) */ We brought nice green bahia for the backyard we used bahia because she had no irrigation system and bahia grows without alot of water and told her to water twice a day in am and pm soak it good and was good when we left THE SOD COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANTY SOD if she did not follow our instructions on watering then that isnt our fault she said she had a way to water the new sod she called multiple times and we came and looked at the sod WE CAN NOT CONTROL HOMEOWNERS WATERING HABITS FOR NEW SOD WE DID THIS JOB OVER A YEAR AND HALF AGO Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2022/04/18) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) They never came out and I had a sprinkler system put in a couple days later. They laid little chunks of sod not full pieces like normal sod but I trusted them. He would not return my calls. I talked with someone in the office several times. They sent me a $100 refund because they took a pallet of sod back. Mike J**** never acknowledged my calls or concerns. Ask his office person he kept taking messages from me. Talk to my neighbors who saw what they brought and laid as sod. I think it was rejected sod from other companies. I hired this company to provide lawn care services. Based on the contract they were supposed to come weekly in oct and every other week in November. They came twice in Oct and did not show up at all in Nov. I paid both months when the bill was received of $110 each month. I have since cancelled their services and was promised a refund to no avail. I have placed an additional 3 calls to the business to this time.Business response

Engaged to mow grass and trim bushes for $140 per month started in beginning June 2021 mowed twice and failed to show up again , when called blamed weather. Adivsed them that they were no longer needed but Paid $140. by check sent from********** CU cashed 7/21/21 , found on my***** bill today a charge for $140.00 !!!!! No idea how he got my CC information . I never even met him , my wife dealt with him , says she never gave him the***** info. Aside from being unreliable , unethical they maybe even worse than that! Hang on to your wallet , better yet don't even talk to them .Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/08/11) */ When we started service in beginning of June we billed the *****'s with our quickbooks online program and the first bill was paid online with credit card. We DON'T have any customers credit card info they pay thru quickbooks totally private and safe. I'm very sorry we can't control the weather and when the government pays more to stay home than work NO ONE will work. I kept in touch with Ms. ***** via text messages and I got a message saying we were fired and don't come back, so we didn't.
