I called Michael ******* Plumbing to our home to install a Permanent-Liner epoxy resin in our drain line as we were going to remodel our kitchen due to losses from hurricane ***. Knowing that the drains were something we had better addressed before the remodel then after. Because my kitchen was already gutted, Mr * agreed to line the pipes for the same dollar amount as he quoted me a year before. The company came out on Saturday and lined the pipes from my bathroom to the mainline. They returned on Monday to continue on with the rest of the pipes. Suddenly there is a problem, the guys blew out the ** Now they have to pull up my patio block and dig a very large hole under my bathroom to reach the * so that can get a better view of the damage to the *. CongratulationsIm told, *ou just won the sh!tty lotteryOne of the employees runs out to rent a masonry circular saw so they can saw through the terrazzo floor. A supervisor comes out, stops the guys from continuing work and re-quotes me for a repipe. The price is now 100% more than the original quoted price. And now they need to pull a permit. Its going to take a few days. Two days later I am informed that the guy (Mr ** who holds the license has been let go. MD ******************** can no longer do this job because they dont have a license to pull a permit. They left me with a hole under my home, no laundry, a complete stop on my kitchen remodel and quotes from other plumbing companies over twice what they had originally quoted me! Dont play with MD Plumbing or you might win the Sh!tty lottery too!

During the jetting and lining job we were contracted to complete was being performed. During the job, due to a wye being installed and located directly under the shower, caused a problem. The wye did bust apart due to the age and condition of the pipe and caused the pipes needing a redrain. This is typically a more expensive job vs lining and would require flooring to be broken up. We tried to do the right thing by getting this unfortunate circumstance repaired and at the lowest cost possible.  During this time, our license holder surprisingly resigned from Mike Douglass Plumbing *** leaving our company in a very tough situation. Due to our license holder leaving and the **************** not responding to our 60 day extension to complete work already in progress, we had to stop work at this location. Having a redrain requires a permit to be pulled in order to start this work. This can not be completed without a permit. Our new license holder has submitted all the necessary requirements to attach their license to our company. We have been waiting several weeks for the State to inform us of this action being completed. We wish the circumstances had been different and that we were able to complete this work. We just did not want to jeopardize anything with the licensing board or our future ability to perform work anywhere. No money has been charged at all during this process and the company is out several thousand of dollars in material, equipment and labor.

So I had a ******* HVAC system installed in our home in 2015 by *********************** Air, who has since stopped doing a/c installation. Their client base was taken over by CSS Air and they serviced my unit for six years..We recently had another company performing service work and thought that there might be an issue with the unit. When they called ******* about the warranty we were informed that the unit was registered at another address.I contacted ******* and was told that would have to show an invoice for the installation and when I informed that I no longer had one that if I could produce service orders with the serial numbers that that would be ok. I did that and then the story changed to that they couldnt accept a service order for proof,. Now on the ******* site when I try to find my unit it shows up with the correct installation date but says the owners name attached to it doesnt match? So this unit has been in my home since 2015, I have proof it is in my home, I have work orders showing it is in my home.I would like to have Daiken honor their ten year warranty that came with the unit.

    ****,

We received your complaint. All of our Air Conditioning client base was purchased by *******. However, we went through the attic and found a paper copy of your installation. Please let me know how you would like to receive this information. I hope this helps.

    Thank You

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

If you could have *********************** Plumbing email me a copy of the installation paperwork that would be great.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
