    We hired this company to perform a home and termite inspection The termite report stated there was no active infestation or previous damage from termites or previous treatment This was March 28th 2023 We moved in the house in May and the seller had left all of their belongings When we were able to clear some tools and poles from the wall in the attached shed we noticed wood chewed up over 3 in. on several 2x4s and the actual siding on the back side We had terminex come out and have in writing the damage is old and is a dry termite which those take years to show damage indicating the damage was here This was not noticed in the home or termite inspection He also gave us an incorrect report stating we had roof damage and we closed and the insurance company dropped us as we didn't know about the report stating roof damage We have a loan and insurance and no one caught that in the report So we talked to **** and he said the report that said roof damage was a mistake and gave us a new one with the damage removed ********************* would only accept that if he would write he made a mistake on the report and date it He refused to do that because he had personal issues with the insurance company lady we were dealing with He stated in text that writing the letter stating he made a mistake would be hanging himself so he refused and insurance dropped us We had to pay $1500 for new skylights in order to get re insured We talked to **** the inspector/owner about the termites and he was insistent there was no damage and the damage we are seeing were caused by subterranean termites and the damage happened in 5 months He didn't even see the insects or come by to see what we were talking about And we got an inspection by terminex today that states the termites are dry termites and the damage is old meaning this should have been caught in either inspection. The damage is three 2x4s and a back side of vinyl siding Would like compensation for the roof repair and the termite damage

    I'm not sure why the terminex report did not attach. This inspector states this damage was old and created by dry termites which those take years to create damage. In the termites inspection through precision, he marked there was no evidence of termite damage but there is a lot.  I attached images of the damage and evidence of previous infestation

    Not sure why the terminex report did not attach. The terminex inspector stated the termite damage was of and caused by dry termites that take years to create damage. Precision termite inspection stated there was no evidence of previous damage and the pictures show the damage that was there when Precision did a termite and home inspection

    Because of the old damage from previous termites and wasn't seen during the home inspection, I now have a pretty bad leak when it rains. I'd like compensation of $3000 for repairs

    This is the home inspection where the inspector doesn't show the damage. He completely missed this old termite damage during both inspections. That is negligence and my house value is going down
