A part from my Accu-temp split mini system failed. Accu-temp installed the system for approximately $ ******* 13 months ago. Manufacture's warranty was 3 years for the failed part and was within the time limit. The part was procured and installed by Accu-temp. I was told that the part was procured from a vender ($ ******) that offered only a 1 year warranty and my bill with labor was $450.00. The 3 year warranted part could have been procured through the manufacturer or other sellers for about $ ******. Good fair business? You decide.

If zI could mark 0 stars I would. They installed a Trane air conditioner for us in 2017 and we have had nothing but problems with it, They charged us for multiple service charges, never serviced are unit. Now it is so bad we have water all over the floor, They never took the panel off the air conditioner handler and cleaned out the tray. We saw it for the first time yesterday and it was full of gunk, They only flushed out the conduit on the outside of the unit. But they never cleaned the connection drain on the inside. Also, they must have torn the insulation flex duct I. The attic during installation and there has been condensation building up and dripping on the drywall ceiling. Three weeks ago they charged us 600 dollars for a new thermostat. They never found the root cause of the problem,I asked them to come out and address the issues and they wanted to charge us for the call when they were the reason for all of the issues to begin with, ***** also tried to sell me a UV light. When we opened the panel we already had one and they ne asked us if we wanted to replace the bulb in 7 years. I believable, The lady was nasty with me and refused to let me speak to the owner. The website says the customer is always right well all she did was tell me I am wrong and she refused to someone out to correct and fix and left us in a mess. Now we have to wait until Wednesday to get someone else out. Im so disgusted with them. They dont deserve to be in business

In regards to water dripping at the customer's home, it is not the fault of Accu-Temp from the date of installation or any time thereafter. As we discussed with the owner, they have not performed routine maintenance on their HVAC equipment with us since the complimentary maintenance visit in 2017. The comment to our office staff that this unit was not properly installed is an erroneous statement. I had advised the customer that we pulled a permit for the 7/27/16 installation and the inspection was passed and approved by the County. Although this is a very unfortunate situation, we need you to understand that there could be numerous reasons why the system is producing water - lack of recommended maintenance, lack of recommended blower cleaning (which is extremely impacted), a possible clogged drain line (which also is not visible from outside the home and possibly buried underground) and/or clogged drain pan, etc.The customer stated that our technicians were incapable of rectifying the issues at any service calls. As discussed, our records reflect the following:*7/22/16 - site visit for an estimate to replace the system *7/27/16 - installation of the new system *8/16/16 - QCA follow up visit to confirm system was ready for inspection *11/10/16 - service call for no cooling - technician reset system and unit worked properly *12/5/16 - HVAC mechanical permit inspection approved by the County *3/30/17 - complimentary maintenance performed on new system *9/23/19 - service call for no cooling - found clogged drain from lack of maintenance *7/30/22 - service call for no cooling - recent lightning strike reset thermostat settings *7/30/23 - service call for no cooling after recent storm - walked thru factory reset via phone *8/8/223 - service call for thermostat - replaced faulty thermostat and found organic matter and heavy build-up on blower assembly. Services recommended were declined. In light of our recent conversation, we unfortunately declined to service this location going forward as our recommendations have been declined and maintenance is not being performed every 6 months which is an industry standard; however, we did offer a site visit with the Operations Manager but no response was received.

Have used Accu-Temp **************************** Conditioning for duct cleaning. Due to air duct cleaning, they have broken an air duct pipe by pulling from the air box and said that was not us. It was before. I had 2 weeks before air duct cleaning inspection on whole house says all air ducts is good and connected. Conclusion: Do NOT Order their services for duct cleaning. The company Accu-Temp **************************** Conditioning technicians doing the job no so well and they easily can break something and have no responsibility.

We are truly sorry that you feel this way. It is a bit confusing as to how we did not meet your expectations as you had signed the final invoice that all work agreed upon had been completed in a satisfactory and workmanlike manner. We had left this job with your approval that the system was working properly at the time of completion. In addition, while your ductwork being detached may seem that the cause could possibly be from the duct cleaning that was performed at your home four months prior, it is not possible for the duct cleaning machine to remove the collar and flex duct from the ductboard if it was properly installed. To the human eye, the ductwork at your home seemed to have been attached, but after further investigation, and from your attached photo, we concluded that the collar that was used did not have the tabs properly pushed over nor was a mastic sealant used all the way around when the ductwork was originally installed by another contractor. No amount of pressure from the machine can cause a properly installed duct to become detached if the takeoff tabs are pinned properly. We have reached out to you via email to further discuss our findings and offer some assistance. We stand behind our work and have always taken responsibility in the unfortunate event that we did not meet a contractual agreement. We are confident that, although we did not cause this issue, you would be satisfied with our solution and we would gladly assist you in rectifying your ductwork. Please feel free to contact our office and we will gladly discuss this further and hope to come to a mutual resolution.
