On July 30, 2024, "******" from DecoDry, a company owned by ***********************, came to my home for mold assessment and remediation. DecoDry was hired by my complex, ****** at *************, for these services. ****** used a moisture meter, which does not detect mold or spores, and assured me there was no mold. He did not take any samples for lab analysis.I was asked to leave with my cat during the remediation. Unaware that a mold assessor should not also perform remediation, I returned to find that ****** had worked without tarping or covering my belongings. Consequently, mold spores, fine particulate matter, and debris were spread throughout my homeon electronics, in my pets food and water area, and all over the floors.I contacted DecoDry and spoke with ****, who initially refused to provide the name or license number of the technician. Eventually, she provided license number MRAF 3735, which I found belonged to *********************, ****** son, not the technician who entered my home. On July 31, 2024, I confirmed with apartment staff that ********************* was not the person who performed the service.I then spoke with ***************************, who refused to discuss the matter directly with me. He confirmed ******* first name but refused to provide his license number, claiming it could only be given to the complex. When I asked if I should contact the Florida ********************** **************** said he didnt care who I contacted. Despite my request for ******* last name and license number by August 1, 2024, **************** ignored me. Maintenance staff confirmed no protective steps were taken during the so-called mold assessment, which was actually an air duct cleaning.I allege that DecoDry deceived me by providing **************** license number when he was not the technician who came. ****** misrepresented himself as a mold assessor and performed work he was unqualified for, causing damage and health issues. Owner refuses to give ****** license number or acknowledge the damage.
