    My savings account was ******* online. The Credit Union employees accused me of giving Giving the ******* my user name and password and access code. This is not true. Why would Anyone do that? Not one has an employee sat down with me to question or invalidate that claim. They accused me from the very first conversation that I was the culprit .In my message box, there were 7 Attempts to get into my account with invalid passwords, yet the bank did not shut the attempts down. I am A widowed senior citizen and was stripped of all of my savings on the night of December 28 to the tune of $12,000. I have emotionally distraught and financially stripped, They pretended they were investigating But the story was the same until I received a certified letter on March 5,2025. That I am the culprit who Gave the ******* my info. Can you please look into the matter.

    They always have something going on. Now we can't use our debit card because there's an issue. What! All they can tell me is that their system is down. It's always something with this credit union. So how am I going to make transactions? This is ridiculous. I have to buy food for my baby, and all they are saying is sorry. What is going on with this credit union? I'm sorry, but you all need to sort this out. I can't afford for this to be happening. Now, what am I going to do? I don't think I'll stay any longer with you. This is too much. Really?

    I have banked with this institution for many years. Today I went to the store and swiped my debit card, and it declined. I also went to the atm, and my card declined. i looked at my account online and it shows i have funds in it. I have been on the phone for hours trying to reach someone, but no one is answering. When i called the automated system, it stated i don't have an account. I have bills that I need to pay, but due to this issue I'm unable to. BBB, I need your assistance.

    Worst financial institution I ever signed up for. I had them for 4 months and had nothing but issues for all 4 of those months. Our relationship ended when I used member to member pay to send money to my significant other like I have done in the past and the ***** department closed my account with no warning, or notice, or explanation. I waited for a call back from the branch for over an hour while my account had been disabled and I could not be granted access to online banking. THEN when I finally did get someone they tried to hold my funds for over a week on top of it. I left my job early to go into to a branch, all for them to sit me in a room on the phone with someone for them to ask me what is the relationship with the person I had been sending money to? That is the reason for the ***** department pushing for acct clourse.WHY DID THEY NOT JUST ASK ME THIS ON THE ***** BEFORE I CUT MY HOURS SHORT AND LEFT MY JOB TO COME INTO THE ******** Once I cleared up the mystery of who I had been sending money to MEMBER - TO - MEMBER?!? They told me it was up to me to close my acct. CLOSE IT DOWN!!!THEN THEY TRIED TO SHORT ME OVER $100 when thankfully I had screenshots of how much money was in there before they disabled my app. They obviously do not communicate amongst each other. I would also like to add that this was my second time having an issue THAT SAME DAY! It was payday and the first of the month and nothing but trouble from this financial institution. And they LIE you do not get paid a day early, only a few hours!I will never recommend anyone to bank with this awful bank. 4 months and 8 complaints later I just wish I had closed my acct before.Plus it seems the same people always answer the phone calls. They need to hire more people, I should not get the same 2 people on the phone every time I call.

    THIS IS THE WORST BANK EVER... They literally closed my account took my $2480 out of my account and told me they will contact me when they have further updates. This is ridiculous and if they do not resolve asap this will turn legal! Do NOT bank with this bank they are predators that will take your money for anything they see fit and its in their paperwork!

    Terrible place to bank. I am looking at money in my account with my 2 eyes and everywhere I swipe my card the bank declines it. No one is answering when I call customer service. Try to put in my social security so they can pull up my account and they are stating they cannot find an account associated with that social security number

    Worst customer service i have ever seen trying to get sn urgent wire transfer completed i sat on hold for three hours trying to talk to someone. Use a different place.

    BrightStar used to be a great place to bank, and now theyve turned into a total catastrophe. My grandmother who encouraged me to get the bank was denied a car loan from BrightStar after being with them for over 25 years, and was approved by like all banks for really good terms then on my account I just cant take how they dont update how they operate to match the times. All Peer to peer sending is subject to the hours of operation. Like even Zelle which is supposed to be an immediate deposit to your account wont go in if its sent past 9. Its ridiculous. Some other like Venmo take DAYS. Its such a set back and incredibly inconvenient. Not to mention the tricks they play with the whole available balance vs your actual balance thing. They take money that you spent today out in two days so it messes with your balance and in turn your life functionality cause you never really know how much money you have in the bank. BrightStar is just SEVERELY inconvenient and old and should just go out of business at this point.

    BSCU participates in inaccurate reporting to credit bureaus. April 2022, I receive a credit alert regarding a delinquent mortgage account with BCSU. I previously had a HELOC with BSCU, which was paid in full back in August 2017 with a perfect payment history. Thank goodness a Satisfaction of Mortgage was filed with Palm Beach County for the loan. Equifax corrected my credit report after I filed a dispute. Fast forward to June 2022 and the inaccurate account is back on my credit report resulting in a 202 point drop to my impeccable credit score. This company needs to get a handle on their reporting. This is unacceptable.

    Their products are laughable compared to dozens of other credit unions across the country and they could not care less about their customers. The point of using a credit union is that you're treated like a person instead of a number - BSCU apparently missed that memo, as I guarantee any major bank will provide better service. There is absolutely no reason to keep your money here when there are so, so, so many better options, both physical and online.
