    On 4/16/24 I had a water damage incident in my townhouse, which I opened a claim with Universal the same day. The following day I called and spoke to a rep whom I told its okay to resolve the case since none of my furniture got damaged. The rep ***** say that companies had been alerted and that someone will come out and dry the water from the affected area, which he shouldve said because just because my furniture ***** get damaged my house did. Then on 4/18/24 a company came out and dried out the water. The company then in turn tells me that Universal closed the case and that it needs to be reopened so he can get paid. On 4/22/24 I called Universal and I spoke to a rep who said I can attached the work and the claim will reopen which it was but then it got closed without resolution. I called again on 5/13 and spoke to a rep and he said the claim is waiting to be assigned. I emailed customer support my concern on 5/22 and I received a reply with the claim is waiting to be assigned. Here we are 2months after the incident and no one has come out to access the damaged or paid the company.

    Survived Hurricane *** in *************** and had homeowners insurance with Universal . They were easy to deal with and handled things in a timely matter ! I was impressed and glad I was covered with them !
