I thought, because it isnt specified properly that I was applying for my passport and paying the passport fee. However, you pay $89 for the applications to be filled out digitally and then you have to still print it, sign it and send it in with another $130 for the actual US passport fee. Im sorry but I couldve filled it the very few lines for free. Dont bother with this, its a waste of time and money. I only have it an extra star because I feel like an idiot for not looking a reviews first.Easy-Apply.US Response

Easy Apply Passport is a paid service to make the process of filling out and filing government forms simpler and more convenient. With the state we would be considered a courier company; we charge additional fees for our services. We do not charge for the form itself but for the assistance in its preparation and our phone support. We never state on our site that we are a government website or affiliated with a government agency.
On our website on the first page, there is a whole section explaining who we are and what we do. At the bottom of the website on every page and before placing your order, the following disclosure is below before submitting your application for payment.
"I hereby certify that the information provided on this application is true and accurate. I understand that the US Department of State supplies blank forms and instructions free of charge. Nevertheless, I wish to use ************ services with personalized instruction. I also certify that I agree with all Terms and Conditions herein described."
We do not hide our information and customers can easily get in touch via email with one of our friendly and helpful staff.Our service, smart passport application, determines the type of application to be submitted based on your specific situation, which helps you avoid common mistakes that could delay or cancel your application. If a mistake is made then we can easily switch the form, so you do not have to redo the application; which is why we ask so many questions that will cater to all the passport forms. We also provide you with a summary of all the documents needed for your application, and we will locate your local *************** if an appointment is needed to complete the process. Included in your package are simplified instructions. ******! THEY WILL ROB YOU IF YOUR MONEY. Preying on people who are in a hurry they appear as though they are affiliated with govt entity and that they will process your application however all they do is let you fill out the form, put it in pdf format and email it to you. They do not forward to any passport provider. They charge exactly what you are going to have to pay again when you go to the provider and by the way you will have to fill out the form again because it has to be filled out in person anyway. I paid 120 bucks for absolutely nothing and they only are giving me back 60 because 10 days is all they allow for their refund policy. This business is a joke they are taking advantage of people because they show up first when searched on ****** and most overlook the disclaimer in their fine print. They found a loophole and cashing in on it. They provide no service to the public worth the money they are charging. I wouldnt even pay 1.99 to have the document put in pdf form - I cant even use the **** form they emailed me anyway! And as for the instructions that they changed to delete the part about having to fill out the app in person- I couldve found the accurate instructions on the legit website if this site hadnt come up before it! Its misleading and deceitful. They should not be allowed to continue to operate. If there were better protections out there for consumers they wouldve been shut down. Sadly we have to do extensive research and spend our time wading through fine print every time we spend money because DISHONEST entities like this are out there waiting to catch us off guard. My passport was lost in tha mail.allegedly.i contacted this company and received no type reimbursement.once you apply you only have 10 days.this is what I was told today.10 days doesnt give the govt. enough to process they take 10 to 12 weeks..I would not use this companyonce you pay and the 10 days are up.you are on your own.get it done elsewhere..Easy-Apply.US Response

Application Status: Not Available
We cannot provide a status update for you at this time.
It may take 2 weeks from the day you submit your application until your status is "In Process."When we sent your prefilled application, did you complete the process? You are required to attach a passport photo, along with a money order or check payable to the department of state and sign the form. Once mailed it takes 6-8 weeks.
Did you get a tracking number from the post office when you mailed your application? Did you use another mailing provider other than ****?
Please call us our customer support at ************** so that we can further assist you in this matter. Again the tracking number that **** provided is important because that is how a claim can be made if it is lost.

We will be more than happy to explain our services. We are not a scam and the forms should have been excepted since it is the same one from the passport agency. You can prefill your application, print it, and bring it into your appointment; that is a presence that, that office is doing. Just like you prefill your tax return form on the **** print it and mail it to them and it would still be the same form; you would not need to rewrite the form on another paper that is the same.
We apologize that they made you go through those unnecessary steps. We located your order and can see that they already made contact with our customer service representatives.

All information and instructions are emailed directly to the email used on the order. If the instructions were not followed, then a passport would not be processed by the agency.

I didn't want to put ANY stars. I was attempting to renew my passport and this website popped up on a US Government website looking legit. It has been 10 years since I renewed so I thought maybe paying online was now a thing. My information is out there and my application came back because I didn't actually PAY for the renewal.Your company should be ashamed of tricking people and taking $89.00 for forms that I was already going to get for FREE.Easy-Apply.US Response

Like many others, I used this website thinking it was an official passport site, and shame on me! I completed two applications and paid $89 apiece in fees. When it came time for me to go to the next step (over a month later as I was in no hurry) I realized this was not what I assumed to be an actual passport renewal option. Yes, it pays to read the fine print!!! I called and talked to a customer support rep and she offered me a 25% refund. I declined and asked to have a manager contact me. Right after the call, I got on their website and filed a request for a refund. I was offered 50% as it was "past their 10 day refund" policy. When they prompted me to agree to this, I responded that I would reluctantly agree but chastised them for duping people into putting all their personal information on a non-government website opening the door to identity theft. I also indicated I would file a complaint with the BBB and post on social media. I then received another response offering me a 90% refund as well as the deletion of the applications and all our personal information, which I accepted. My refund was posted the very next day. I am relieved that I took additional steps with this company and give them credit for their actions. This is a legitimate company and there may be some individuals who would rather fork over the money to answer a few questions online to complete the application, but you would still be required to complete the passport process and pay the full amount of the passport fees. Most individuals DO NOT NEED TO DO THIS and should use the official travel.state.gov website for passport renewals.Easy-Apply.US Response

I too fell for this. I am just sick knowing that my information and my money was taken by a business that has no right to charge $128 for filling out a free form. It was a popup on the US Government and felt like it was a legit site. Hope others don't fall for this.Easy-Apply.US Response
