      I went to this Jiffy Lube on Monday August 15, 2022 at 8:25 am for an oil change. I was told I needed new transmission fluid, air filters, and my back brakes changed. I tell them Im in a rush because I have to leave for tampa by 11. ****, the mechanic, tells me at 8:43, after my oil change, that it will only take 20 minutes to change my back brakes because h*** have two people working on my car at once to speed it up. At 9:18 I ask him whats taking so long and he responds with were waiting for autozone to drop off the brakes. Theyll be here in ***** minutes. My time, like every every other customer that comes in, is very valuable. I tell him forget it because I dont have the time, the manager **** tells me theyll have me out by 10. 10 o clock comes and were still waiting on the brakes. I ask **** to pay so then I can just leave as soon as my cars finished and he tells me my balance is $1663.67. I ask how that happened and he told me that they changed all four of my brakes even though I was told they were only doing my rear brakes. I have no choice but to pay this absurd amount but what if they did that to someone that didnt have the $1600 to spend when they only went it for a $100 oil change? As soon as I leave I hear a weird noise, my car is smoking and theres a strange smell. I call back immediately and **** says thats normal with new brakes and I just have to break them in. The clicking noise gets worse and worse. I went back to this Jiffy Lube on Saturday August 20, 2022 and when ******* took my tires off to examine my brakes, he tells me that the brakes that were put on my car were defective and were already half destroyed. Everyone at this jiffy lube knew I was driving to ***** that day and they sold me and installed defective brakes. Not only was my life put at risk, but *** spent almost 6 hours at Jiffy Lube this week. Thats almost a full work shift, so not only did I spend over $1600 for shorty work, but I lost 6 hours Ill never get back.

      when we spoke to the customer we advised her that both ********************** were being replaced before service. The parts did take a bit longer then usual but we installed quality brakes on her vehicle as we do all vehicles that are repaired at our shop. The customer was upset about the time she spent here, the vehicle did return about noise was then determined it was best to replace the rear brake pads cause by pad making noise .Which was the complaint at that time. They were replaced only due to noise but the customer was never in any risk of malfunction in the brakes or safety. the vehicle left with no noise after the rear pads were replaced

      I have had my oil changed by jiffy lube for quite some time now and it's been great. I moved to FLA and went to jiffy lube #*** on 1/24/22 it went well. It was on 5/23/22 the trouble started. I went in and the woman said that they couldnt get the oil pan bolt off or the oil canister cap and they'd have to evacuate the oil through the top of the motor. I said that isnt right and they did the change last time so fix it. Heard the mechanic say someone over tightened the 2 items. Being them cause they did the last change. So a long while later they said they were done I paid and said thanks and went on my way. They never said anything. I did notice that they took my other oil change sticker off and didnt give me a new one. I parked and noticed a puddle of oil under my car after going into a place. I'm a pretty good mechanic so I went underneath the car and saw permatex sealant around the oil pan bolt and the underneath side of my oil filter canister SHOULDNT BE THERE!! With oil leaking out of both spots. My car does leak oil but never from there. I took off work again and went back the next day and the woman just started pushing me off and accusing me (The customer) of fraud!!!She said I specifically wanted them to change my oil to make them liable. Pretty seriouse accusation. She in one breath said she'd never seen the car before then admitted the bolt was stripped so they put a bigger one in and the mechanic again (who was so nice) admitted someone over tightened the to items last time that's what the problem is. When she heard him say that she shut him up quick and got me outta there. I have all this and more on audio recording and pics of everything.What I want is for them to re-tap the threads in my oil pan and put a new bolt that fits as well as repairing correctly the damage done to the oil filter canister and cap. If not I'm taking all my irrefutable evidence and goin ta court. And if I have to go to those lengths its gonna cost them a whole lot more.

      As a courtesy, we will gladly refund ****************** the entire Jiffy Lube Invoice invoice that he paid for. Moving forward, we would advise that the vehicle be serviced at the dealership or a private mechanic. This vehicle is a **** with 214 thousand miles on it. These vehicles are known to have issues with the oil filter housings and the parts are not readily available.

      Jiffy Lube Store #**** performed services on my car and failed to secure the skid plate on my vehicle following the services which led to the skid plate coming loose at high speeds on the freeway and cause damage to the skid plate. I have attempted to reach a resolution with the company, including corporate opening the below case on this issue, though they never completed contact with me to reach a resolution. Case# ******** - Store# ******************************************************************************************************* the way my vehicle was handled by the business that caused this damage.

      I do believe that this was sent to Atlantic Coast Enterprises dba jiffy Lube accidently. We do NOT have a store ****. We have a store 3342.

      Store **** is located in UT as is this customer. This complaint has been forwarded to the correct Jiffy Lube franchisee.

      I am rejecting this response because there is no resolution outlined. The only thing their response states is that the address the complaint was forwarded to was incorrect. 

      This response has no relevance to the issue at hand or no solution presented and agreed upon from the store.

      As previously stated, Atlantic Coast Enterprises dba Jiffy Lube does not own store ****. If this is the store where the work was done, this complaint will have to be taken up with that franchisee. I have no control over store ****. If in fact that the work was done at store **** in **************, ** I will be more than happy to help resolve.

      I got an oil change at jiffy lube franchise #** in ******** *******. Run by Atlantic Coast Enterprises LLC. I was down there for a job in my work vehicle. I was **** miles from home and needed an oil change. Had my coworker bring it for the required service and then drove back to ************* the next day. Upon returning we noticed a puddle under the van. I brought the van to my local mechanic and he found that the oil filter was loose and that the van was down 2 quarts of oil. I was fortunate enough to be in ******* the week after to finish out a job I was on. I went to the Jiffy Lube and the assistant manager wasn't able to assist me and said I needed to wait for the manager to get back. I have not heard from the manager. I have contacted Jiffy Lube Corporate several times and they are giving me the run around. It's been a month since I got an oil change that almost cost me a motor. From Jiffy lube Corporate:We have opened a case and forwarded your feedback to Atlantic Coast Enterprises LLC, the franchisee which owns and operates the Jiffy Lube Service Center ** where you visited. All Jiffy Lube service centers are independently owned and operated. The Franchisee owner will review your case and recommend resolution or next course of action.Please allow ***** hours for the Franchisee to review and reach out to you to discuss your concern or resolution. If you have not heard from the Franchisee within 72 hours (3 days), please respond to this email (keeping the subject line as it contains your case #) and we will reach out for an update on your behalf. 2nd email from corporate:Apologies for the delay. We have updated your case information form to share your comments with the Franchisee of Store # **; Atlantic Coast Enterprises LLC. Please note, all Jiffy Lube service centers are independently owned and operated.

      I spoke with **************** this morning. He told me that he spoke to Customer ********************** on Friday and that they were going to issue a refund to his credit card. He told me that he will call me when he sees the refund.
