Worst experience of my life. Was there for an oil change. First off, they put way too much oil in my car. Secondly, 42$ for an engine air filter. They took out the old air filter and NEVER PUT A NEW ONE BACK IN. Luckily I know my car very well and was able to pick up on a very faint humming noice that was NOT there when I first arrived. Imagine if I had been someone who was unable to pick up on the difference. They could have potentially blown out my engine. When I returned, I asked MANAGER **** if he would be willing to provide any kind of compensation for my troubles and the scumbag laughed in my face. DONT GO HERE unless you want them to potentially destroy your vehicle.Review from Khai S

I took my 2018 *** X3 M40i to the ACE Jiffy Lube location in ***** on **************. The car continuously leaked oil from the first day I got my oil change (also got talked into a brake flush I didn't need). After my third visit back to correct the problem, they told me they needed to order a new plug for the oil pan and it would be arriving in two days. The next morning, there was a huge pool of oil under my car and I realized I had a severe problem.I took my car to the dealership the next morning, and they informed me that they had stripped the original oil pan by trying to force the plug back into it. Then, without my consent or knowledge, they re-bored ("tapped") the pan and replaced the factory plug with an aftermarket plug, which did not fit. I had to spend $6300 to replace the pan, and ACE literally has ghosted all of my emails and calls to various "team members", as well as Jiffy Lube corporate, which simply passes the messages on to ACE (allegedly).Fast forward to last week...my check engine light came on after the oil pan replacement, and come to find out, they used either the wrong oil, or too much had leaked out, so that the gears are grinding and there are metal shavings all over the oil filter. As a result, the car needs a new engine, at cost of $35 THOUSAND DOLLARS. It remains at the dealership, unusable.I am shocked by ***'s *************** attitude...the feel that they can simply ignore the problem and it will go away. Imagine if I had my kids in the car and the engine failed on I95? This was literally a disaster waiting to happen, and they cannot return an email or a phone call. I have given them the opportunity to make this right, and they are forcing me to retain an attorney to recover my losses. I don't wish this nightmare on anyone. I literally have to buy a car after this disaster.ACE Jiffy Lube Response

I took my car to Jiffy Lube for an oil change and to check the lights that showed on in the dash board and to replace the front right turn signal bulb. Immediately they tell me I need a brake fluid replacement and power steering fluid flush/exchange plus the oil change and wiper blade replacement. I agreed and waited. The job was completed quickly and I paid. Driving the car out of the lot, see the lights are all on and the right turn signal light is still not working. Drive back to Jiffy lube, tell the guy the lights are still showing and the bulb was not replaced and he says, "We checked everything and nothing wrong. We put water in the windshield reservoir", which was another light showing up in dash board. Then another guy comes up and says "Sorry about the bulb, I will replace it now" of which I had to pay extra for it. A week later while driving, the engine light starts beeping and its flashing red, the gauge is showing the car is completely hot. Stop check the car and there is no coolant in the car. Walk to store in the corner and bought coolant. The next day took car to a reputable mechanic who said the engine was gone and also the radiator. They showed me and also sent me pictures of the damage. Of which I had to replace engine and radiator. On top of that showed me the wiper blades were bad and needed replacement. I have been told it was negligence that the radiator and coolant reservoir leak was not detected as it was very easy to detect. This same issue has happened before to others, having to REPLACE an engine at a VERY, VERY costly expense. Stay away, please.Review from Leka G

I visited jiffy lube store #**** Northlake in *************** today September 15, 23 at 8am. I came in for a oil change, synthetic basic service. To my surprise I needed many more services said the attendance who greeted me and the mechanic who also assured me. They than offered me a way to get said services, which I also agreed to when pressure by the men (associates) . SNAP FINANCE I was approved and than held there for 6 and a half hours. I refused some services because of the time. Specifically, asked them to NOT add the service of spark plugs because of time. They did it anyway. Service's I didn't know of were also applied to my ******************* things that totalled a large amount. I was estimated 1 and half-hour, 2 at most. But 6 plus hours later I was still held there unable to start my day. Or Just leave. They kept my car in the air. After I repeatedly asked and shouted for it to be brought down. They started the work and wouldn't allow any changes. I had to cancel appointments and rearrange my day because of their bad service. I was told all sort of things about defected parts that caused my vehicle not to start. Also, a wheel lock. MADE a big deal of it. ( in attempting to break it) all while they did multiple other services on the vehicle for the snap finance money. I agreed to basic things, a air cabin filter change, synthetic oil change, ac filter change, but was being given anything now I was livid at this point and required to pay $1,524 charged over time with the snap loan for shottie services there. The Gm ***** wasn't at all helpful, besides offering me a ride home solely to get rid of me after sitting in this establishment for more than 3hrs at this point and raising my voice. The mechanic that came to find all of these problems with the vehicle and parts and who serviced it was ****. Again, I had to pay for his poor service's and sacrificed my whole morning and day to sit in a shop and be ignored and taken advantage of. I was also told to come back.Review from Kenneth M

I sent my 17 y/o son to take the car in for an oil change. He calls me and says this worker was recommending that he get the "works" package that they offer and he thought it was a good idea. Apparently they had advised him to change the oil using the top of the line brand and flush the transmission and the the radiator and lord knows what else to the tune of $550. He hands this lady, ***, the phone and I ask her what is she trying to sell my child. She says, I'm just doing my job. So apparently Jiffy Lube tells their customers to take advantage of anybody they think will fall for it. I tell him to leave but they already started, She then advises my son to never grow up to be like your dad. This is how people deal with your kid when their parent is not present. Shameful.Review from Maria S

On 8/2/2023, I brought my 2020 ***** Passport to Jiffy Lube at *********************************************************************************** for an engine oil and filter maintenance service. The manager recommended adding a differential oil change based on *****'s maintenance schedule, and I agreed. After Jiffy Lube finished servicing my vehicle and I left the premises, I noticed a strange sound coming from the rear of the car within a block's distance. I promptly returned to Jiffy Lube to report the issue. They assured me they would investigate and, after a 2.5 hour wait, returned my car, stating they had performed a second differential oil change.Yet again, after leaving I quickly had to return to Jiffy Lube, as the sound from my car had worsened. On this visit, they claimed not to know the cause of the issue. To diagnose the issue, I had to take my vehicle to *****, where they identified that incorrect oil had been used in the differential. *****s estimate to repair the damage my vehicle incurred is $5,259.50. With *****'s assessment in hand, I approached Jiffy Lube with a request for them to cover the repair expenses, given their recent differential service. Surprisingly, the manager declined, despite providing documentation from the dealer confirming the incorrect oil usage.Subsequently, I learned from ***** that the differential oil change should occur at ****** miles. ******** my car had only covered ****** miles, making the differential service conducted by Jiffy Lube unnecessary and incorrect. Presently, Jiffy Lube's manager contends that the vehicle was already damaged upon arrival, absolving them of responsibility. This assertion contradicts their own employees' test drive before the initial service, which indicated no issues. In the end, I went in for a routine engine oil change and because I was misled into paying for a service that my vehicle did not need, now I must scramble to attain the funds to cover this unforeseen repair that should have not happened in the first place.ACE Jiffy Lube Response

After completing my due diligence and reviewing the Carfax report for this vehicle, ACE Jiffy Lube is denying any and all responsibility for the condition of this ***** Passport. This is what my investigation shows as per the Carfax report.
On 8/3/2020 this vehicle was delivered to ****************************. On 9/28/2020 this vehicle was registered as a personal lease vehicle. On 3/20/2021 this vehicle had it's first service (**** miles) at *************. On 9/1/2021 this vehicle was declared a "Total Loss" by the insurance company. Flood and water damage was reported. On 10/7/2021 a Salvage Title / Not Actual Mileage Title / Flood Damage Title was issued. On 10/20/2021 the mileage reported was ***** and the vehicle was sold at a salvage auction. On 4/21/2022 a new owner was reported to the ************************ of ***** Vehicles. A Salvage Title was issued, a Not Actual Mileage Title was issue and A Rebuilt Title was issued.
On 7/11/2023 this vehicle was serviced at *********** with the mileage at 24311.
I also have confirmed that we purchased the differential fluid for this vehicle from ***********.
This claim has been denied.

DO not go here unless you like unprofessional staff and broken-down equipment. I had a horrible experience here. The Ac recharge was not even showing anything on the machine, It was so obvious, they also were going off on my air with their hands back n forth. when I asked about the machine, I got a very defensive reply. Tone was not okay. It felt like a weekend for these guys chatting it up. HORRIBLE customer service. I feel I got ripped off. I asked if I can see something that showed me anything, and the lady just handed my receipt, I looked at it when I got home nothing on it. They also left an oily handprint behind, someone out of my view yelled, just her her money back, "I don't need this **--! Of course that didnt happen, I was handing the paid receipt. They moved away from my car and I had to ask if I can pull away! They need new people, I even heard them bashing upper management!! I wish we had a zero star option.ACE Jiffy Lube Response

Beware! I have a 2022 Dodge Ram that was leaking oil and never thought it would be from my oil change at jiffy lube after spending $235 dollars at the dealer for a diagnosis, it was determined that it was due to a oil filter failure. I went to jiffy to get reimbursed and was told that the “warranty was only for 90 days.” I don’t even drive my truck except on weekends only. I used to take both my vehicles to the location at **** ********** **** *** **********, CA *****. Will never do that again and all corporate has to say is "its a franchise."ACE Jiffy Lube Response

Mr. *****,
Good morning.
I just read your BBB review. If I’m reading it correctly, you live and had your vehicle serviced at a Jiffy Lube in California. If that is the case, the BBB has sent me your complaint in error. My company is Atlantic Coast Enterprises LLC dba Jiffy Lube and we are located in south Florida.
Please reach out to me and let me know. Tell me the store number, location and date of service and I will be able to help you with the correct franchisee.
If this is not the case and you were in fact at one of our stores, please let me know and I will certainly resolve all issues.
Have a great day.
Thank you,Review from Thomasita A

What is REALLY going on here?! I took my Infiniti for an oil change at the Jiffy Lube on Broward Blvd & 27th Ave (my third time) utilizing their services, due to some time restraints. Thought this would be a NORMAL service but at the conclusion of the oil change I proceeded to start my car and it wouldn't turn over. There were NO signs of power failure or engine failure prior to my service visit. NO signs of an oil leak prior to this service visit. I asked the service manager "What did they do to my car?" His reply was "just an oil change", really??? He then told me to give it a little gas (after several attempts to start the engine), when it finally did turn over. I raised the rpm to about 20-25 then immediately moved the gear to drive and slowly with some jerking proceeded out of the garage. Later this evening my car did the same thing after several attempts to turn over when it finally did I raised the rpm & quickly shifted to drive but this time it shut off after I came to a stop, it started to smoke underneath the hood; I had to have it towed. Infiniti Service center in Coconut Creek text me 'I needed an alternator, oil shorted it out...' There was no oil leak prior to my service @ Jiffy Lube! I'm certain Jiffy Lube's negligence has resulted in this malfunction and would like a thorough investigation & compensation for my repair costs and inconvenience.
