    Do not use this company. I was completely mislead on the initial phone call with the broker, ******, which lead to confusion and frustration throughout the entire process. I told him everything I was packing and what kind of furniture I had with me. He never asked for further details regarding actual measurements of my items so when the truck came to *****************, there was only space for 3 items....****** had completely miscalculated how much space was required for my belongings and I would have to pay more $$ on the spot if I wanted to put all my items that were ALREADY accounted for on the initial quote. When I called him to sort it out and correct the mistake, he ignored my calls and pushed me off to ****. ****** told me from the start that I was to call him regarding any questions/issues during the process and **** let me know that was completely false and i was actually supposed to contact her. By the time I got a hold of her the movers had already left. I was also mislead in the initial conversation with ****** that my items would only take 3-5 days to arrive from the pick up date. I moved across the country so I coordinated my travel accordingly. That was not the case however after the items were in transit we were then told it could take up to 10 days- which I understand that is standard, I was just told upfront it would only take up to 5, so it was misinformation that threw a wrench in my entire move. A completely different moving company dropped my furniture off, and when they found out I was on the 3rd floor they were shocked and charged me even more- even though I stated from the very first phone call with ****** that 3 sets of stairs were in the deal and he accounted for that in my quote. Nationwide seems to be contracting every part of the moving process out. However, that process was never explained to me upon booking and I feel completely scammed to be honest. I will never recommend ****** or this company. Save yourself a headache. 0 starts

    BEWARE booked with this company and was told the drive time from ** to FLA would be about 5 days/ given a delivery date of 8 days later.When the company arrived for pick-up it was a company called Northern Elite. I was told the job was brokered to them. When I went back & looked at the contract & welcome letter- this was never disclosed. Yes, I too was charged an extra $150 by the pickup crew for extra boxed.When my items were not delivered/ had not heard from the company after 10 days I called to inquire the status. I was told the truck was in Virginia and it would be about another week. On day 15 I received a call saying they would deliver tomorrow at 5 pm. When they did not arrive by 6 pm I called and was told they were running late (I would have expected a courtesy call to I form me) so they would deliver the galloping day at 9 AM. When they did not arrive by 10 AM u called to inquire & was hung up on.At 4:30 PM I received a call stating they were 90 minutes out. I had to get special permission from our condo association for the late delivery with instructions they needed to use the side door at that hour. When they arrived at 6:05 PM the driver came up to our 4th floor condo for his cash payment. I gave increments of $100 and he did not give change. He then proceeded to tell us that he would not drive the truck back to the side door and told us he wanted another $800 to deliver our items to our 4th floor ** do. (We had already paid an elevator premium). We refused so he took our items and placed them on the sidewalk in front of our building. We are senior citizens...and proceeded to use our building grocery ************ to move our items from the sidewalk to our 4th floor unit using the backdoor. To date we have not been refunded our overpayment or our request for a discount considering g we had to carry our own items.The Northern Elite driver's were very unprofessional and rude/ Nationwide took their initial deposit and dropped us DO NOT USE.

    These are con artists. They owe me a refund for $775 but despite numerous attempts to communicate on this over the last almost 3 months, it is clear that they have no intention of refunding the money that they owe me.

    Nationwide is a scam. I worked with a guy name ******* and provided him with the number of boxes, along with furniture that would be moving from ********** to *****. When ****** Moving and Storage came to collect my items, they told me only half of my boxes would go on truck. For the first time, I was being informed about cubic feet and how the amount ******* provided them was incorrect. After pleading and negotiation, I had to pay an additional $800 to get extra boxes on the truck. I left an considerable amount of items in **********. Well after all of this transpired, I've learned that moving companies do this all the time. They will lie or forgo the truth and when the movers come, the movers is quoting a different price. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH.

    SAME AS BELOW.... SCAM......ALL THE STOREIS ARE THE SAME. THEY DID THE SAME TO US AS BELOW. DO NOT USE. SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED CONTACT ME I WILL GIVE YOU THE *** NUMBER. **** READ THE 1 STARS BELOW THEY ALL SAY THE SAME THING**** REST OF THE REVIEWS ARE FAKE *DEMANDED MORE ON THE *** OF THE MOVE *BROKE LOTS OF STUFF *RUDE DO NOT USE. AFTER 5 MILITARY MOVES WE USED THIS COMPANY AS A PRIVATE MOVE AND IT WAS THE WORST.***** WAS RUDE, THE DRIVER **** TRIED TO FIGHT US AND WHEN WE WENT TO CLAIM DAMAGE THEY OFFERED US NEXT TO NOTHING FOR $1000s WORTH OF DAMAGE.STAY AWAY- GO SOMEWHERE THAT YOU CAN TRUST. WOULD BE NO STARS IF I COULD Tore a couch arm and said it was only 60 Cents per pound .... but the weight of the tear not the whole couch...so we got 60 cents for a torn couch???????? Same thing for 6 bar stools, "weight of the damage not the item.

    In July of 2021 we contracted this company to move us from ******* to *******. When the contract was signed, it was made known that we had 48 hours to cancel the contract and only a 10% handling fee would be charged to us. Well we found a cheaper, more reputable company and I left a message on their phone and sent 2 emails saying we are going to cancel. I even talked to someone on the phone the day before we cancelled who tried to talk me out of it, but did convince me to wait overnight to be sure. Anyways, we cancelled and our deposit of $3,491.00 was never returned. I tried numerous times to call, sent emails, even a certified letter and no one ever tried to contact me. As with some of the other people who have left a review, I had to use a 1 star but wouldn't give them any stars as they are are a very poor company.

    Do not use!!!! I used them for a long distance move. This company has horrible customer service. The sales team tells you one thing and customer service tells you another. I am currently on week 2 without furniture. And they said it could be up to 21 days to get my furniture and essentials. Worst decision I ever made.
