    12/30/24 date of transaction $1,786.85 Coastal Breeze Vacation Rentals Stay - January 5th to January 15th, 10 days Location: ********************************* They committed to provide a clean, habitable place to stay for our 10 day rental. This was not the case and this entire house is not ready to be rented. There were water heater/pressure and electrical issues along with sewage backup and the company still has not tried to reprimand their lack of customer service. A repair man was in our unit almost every day of our 10 day stay - it is unacceptable and continuous problems in the home kept arising. We were asked to flip the breaker in the home for the other 3 units over 5 times from Coastal Breeze Vacation Rentals and we should not be a part of the maintenance to fix this dump. The times that the repair man arrived, we were never notified ahead of time. I work remotely and requested multiple times to be notified before someone was coming to our unit. This rental is not what it seems to be in the advertisement on **** and I will never be staying in this house or using Coastal Breeze Vacation Rentals ever again to book a stay down here in ***. Nature of dispute: seeking refund of awful stay during vacation. Business (Coastal Breeze Vacation Rentals) denied refund request, shifted blame to customers, and has not tried to resolve issue at all. We are extremely disappointed and disgusted with the lack of professionalism demonstrated and provided. We have contacted **** to help as a last resort in efforts to get some of our money refunded. What we paid for this stay is not what the stay was worth. We are hoping for some kind of resolution.

    Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent stay with us. We truly value your input, and were sorry to hear about the challenges you experienced.

    We take all concerns seriously, and once we learned of any hot water issues in your unit, we promptly asked you to flip the breaker back to the on position as a standard first step. This fix often resolves the problem entirely, but in this situation, it turned out to be a temporary resolution. After learning of the breaker again going out, we promptly offered to schedule maintenance either during your stay or after, to minimize any disruption to your remote work. As flipping the breaker back into the on position would temporarily fix any hot water issue, we wanted to give you the option of scheduling maintenance during or after your stay. After being given this option, you chose to have maintenance come during your stay. While we strive to notify guests in advance,it can sometimes be difficult to pinpoint the exact arrival time of our maintenance team, as they are often working across multiple jobs and island traffic can be unpredictable.

    We understand that having to flip the breaker multiple times was inconvenient, and we apologize for that. However, given the facts that (i)the only request from you was to simply flip a breaker, and (ii) we gave you the option to schedule maintenance when it worked for you, we do not believe a refund is warranted in this situation.

    Finally, we want to clarify that the sewer issue you mentioned was related to a neighboring unit and not directly to yours. While,you may have seen maintenance around, but they did not perform any work on your unit for this unrelated issue.
