On October 26 ******** ******* came to my house to repair a wine enthusiast wine cooler. He said he needed to order a control panel and that I needed to pay for it to him right away . The part was going to be sent to him not to me ! I waited a month and still nothing . They finally claimed that the part had arrived to them but they could not install it ! They said they would send me the part and that I needed to find another electrician to install it.I contacted another electrician and he took apart my wine cooler . It was the wrong part !! There was no information where it came from . No company name or any way to return it . To me it looks like an old part with no bearing to my wine cooler. No one from the company have contacted me and I have called about 20 + times and send messages to the company and ******** at least 25 times and threaten to report them to BBB and post reports online about their unethical and criminal behavior . I have had no response to any of this and am now very fed up and believe I will never see a legitimate repair person nor my money returned to me . This is very fraudulent behavior .

On December 3, 2024, I called Appliance Repair Today to repair our Maytag washing machine. They dispatched one of their contractors - Anyplace Appliance Repair - *******************************. ******** arrived at our home at approximately 5:30 p.m. After his inspection of the washing machine, he stated that it needed new suspension rods. He said the cost was $89.99 for the diagnostic service and $229.99 plus tax for the suspension rod kit - for a total of $342.53. He ordered the suspension rods and asked for payment via ***** or Venmo. I paid $342.53 via Zelle and he emailed me an invoice. He told me the suspension rods would arrive in a couple days and he would return on December 9 to install them. On December 9, I called ******** at ************ to see if he was still scheduled to install the rods. He texted me back "There was a mix up and the parts are being delivered to you - please call as soon as you receive the parts" with a picture of the estimated delivery of December 11. On December 11 we received the parts and I notified ******** and asked when he would be out to fix it. I received a text "The technician was attacked by a customer pet and received 28 stitches. We are working on finding another local technician." On December 12, I called Appliance Repair Today and asked when another tech would be out. They told me I needed to contact Anyplace Appliance Repair as they only dispatch repair companies. Since ******** was not responding I contacted another repair company. The tech came out and said the part that ******** ordered was wrong - it didn't fit. We ordered the correct part and the tech came back and fixed the machine. I tried to call ******** but was routed to a 'text only' number ************. I texted ******** to ask for a refund of the wrong part. We exchanged several text messages with no resolution. When I texted ******** that I was going to report him - he simply replied "MAGA". THIS GUY IS A SCAM ARTIST AND NEEDS TO BE OUT OF BUSINESS!

On 24 November contact this company who sent a technician a to our home. The service included ordering and installing a Whirlpool Freeze bulb which weve paid for. After several follow up communication with the company advising the bulb had not been received it was eventually established they had forgot to include our condo apartment number 2c in the order and would reorder. Ive lost count of the number of calls and e mails Ive sent to the company but no response. Ive seen from several reviews that similar incidents have occurred with this company. Appreciate any help you can provide in getting this company to complete the order we have paid for. Thank you.

Our KitchenAid dishwasher was not operating, so I called Appliance Repair, ******** *******, found on the internet. He came to the house and diagnosed the problem as a control panel failure due to a power surge. He took payment of $246.20 for the part on 8/3/24 and said he would return when the part arrived. He returned with the part on 8/9/24 and it failed to operate the dishwasher. He said that it could also be the interface board, so I paid him $130 for him to order the part. He returned on 8/26/24 with this part and the dishwasher failed to operate again. He said he would call ********** and make sure the parts were compatible. Some texts went back and forth, but the upshot is he never followed through to make it operable. I called ********** and had a certified tech come out to diagnose the problem. He found the control panel was taped to the internal panel and was a broken, used part and not even the correct part for our model. In addition the interface board was a used part from ****. The tech said he could tell from the wear on the parts that they were used. In addition there was a sticker on the interface panel that was not a KitchenAid sticker. That tech charged us $159 just to tell us that we had been taken. If ******** did this to us, he is doing it to others and must be stopped. Ill be taking him to small claims court next week. I waited this long because he kept texting me saying the refund was in the mail. To date, 10/3/2024, the refund has not been received.

I had my ******* refrigerator serviced on 8/14/2024, Invoice # **** because my freezer was not cold. The technician replaced the start relay module and the thermostat. He told me that I was all set. I paid him $556.62 via Zelle and he was on his way. I waited the rest of the evening and half of the next day. The freezer was not fixed. I texted the technician and he stated that the refrigerator would probably need a new compressor and main board, which would cost an additional $800+. I declined this additional repair. I am very disappointed that I was charged such a large amount of money and my refrigerator is no better than when I called. I feel duped since I was told that the refrigerator was fixed, but it definitely was NOT.I feel that it is fair that I should pay the $129 diagnostic fee, but feel that I am entitled to a refund in the amount of $417.47. $389.98 (the cost of the start relay module and the thermostat) and $27.49 for the sales tax on those two items. Also, of note on my invoice, I was charged sales tax of 7.05%. The sales tax in ************** is 6%.

Refrigerator was not working, losing temperature. Called for an emergency repair. Technician showed up, showed me some removed wires that looked overheating, said he replaced them and a thermostat. Said that the compressor may be going bad. The loud vibrations were gone - seemed like all was good. We paid, he left and within 20 minutes noises were back and cooling was not happening. Tried calling, to get him back, no response. Messaged three or four times over the next week, but never a reply.

1-2-24 WE CALLED ANYPLACE APPLIANCE REPAIR (***** S. TamiamiTrail, *************, ** ) to Fix two appliances, a stove and a washing machine. A repairman came and diagnosed the problem in both, and said he would have to order the parts. He presented a bill for $632.46. He said it would be 2 or 3 days. It was fully expected that when the parts came in, he would bring them and complete the repairs. When we didn't hear, we called the office several days. Then, today, the 9th of Jan. we got an e-mail saying the parts were in , and they were mailing them to us for us to install or to get someone to install them. We are an couple in our 80s and we were never advised that this repair company would not finish the job. We duped and cheated. We would never have dealt with this company if they had told us up front how they expected to handle this call for a repair. THE REPAIRMAN WAS AT OUR HOUSE ABOUT 20 MINUTES. HE NEVER SAID HE WOULD NOT BE BACK WHEN THE PARTS CAME IN. NO ORDINARY PERSON WHO CALLS FOR A REPAIR EXPECTS THE REPAIRMAN TO COME, DETERMINE THE PROBLEM, ORDER THE PARTS, AND THEN SEND THEM TO YOU TO INSTALL, Without ever saying anything about that procedure. I feel cheated, and that this operation was a con game. Actually, perhaps the repairman has left the company, and they don't have anyone else to do the repair.
