On September 05, 2021 Mr. Jonathan D. (from carpentry and woodworking LLC) and his associate (Sean) came to the property of ***************** in Cape Coral, FL; to fix the guest bedroom door and replace and paint the master bedroom door. Upon giving his estimate he informed the home owner that it was an all inclusive price. The home owner agreed and once the door was ordered and came in the home owner was informed that the price did not include the ordered door. The home owner then paid the added price due to feeling she had no other choice. The guest room door was not completely fixed, and the master bedroom door was not only half painted, but then there was paint in places that should not have paint. These places included the door handle and the carpet beneath the door itself (which the homeowner was forced to clean herself due to the amount of time passed). Once Mr. Jonathan D. was contacted to rectify the wronged situation he told the home owner she would have to subsequently buy more supplies herself and he would return to finish the job. Mr. Jonathan D.'s associate Mr. Sean was supposed to come finish the jog, but has not only cancelled on multiple occasions, but has also refused to answer or return calls. When he finally answers calls placed by a different number he will set up an appointment and then fails to show up all together (citing one excuse after another). The home owner has paid the company and Mr. Jonathan D. in full and then some for supplies.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/01/14) */ This woman ******* ******** contacted us last year to fix several bashed in doors(why were the doors covered in holes the size of fists- rhetorical question) within the residence where she sublets a room according to her own explanation per my memory. From the first day I sensed an angry tone and volatile nature from her, yet I continued to offer assistance, even searching for the custom 8ft door she wanted to match with a curved upper design shape, though most suppliers said it did not exist: we found one! Once the work was complete she seemed happy, yet more importantly, the homeowner, whom is a pharmacist took me aside and profusely thanked us for all the help and extra effort to match the doors and complete the work promptly. I mentioned we never do any painting, only woodworking thus I mentioned a local painter named Sean whom she mentions in this complaint. I CLEARLY stated that is between her and the painter: it is unfortunate he did not meet her standards, yet that was HER CHOICE to hire him, and HER RESPONSIBILITY to settle any grievance. To include us in the mix is outrageous and only mirrors the horrible phone call we received from her the last week filled with verbally abusive language, swear words, and cold hard bullying. She later called back frantically, and blamed her numerous health conditions on her hostile outburst. We are on to 2022 our final year in business to help kind people like the family mentioned in the first paragraph before we bow out gracefully into retirement. Within our quiet, hard-working and thoughtful moments we will not let the bullying of someone ruin the kindness and talent that shines from our corner of the world inclusive of my wife who is a nurse helping children here in Ft Myers at *********************************************************.
