The car was purchased as is, we have filed a complaint earlier and were referred to the FLHSMV. They did their investigation and determined the dealership violat4ed Fl Statute ****** (9)(B)(3). dealer made false or misleading statements in advertising, displaying regarding the sale or financing of a motor vehicle. We are not asking for a full refund. We only ask for the amount of $3,318.30 to reimburse us for the tires we had to purchase to make the car safe to drive. The tires on the car when it was delivered were cut badly from the fenders on the car, they were unsafe to drive on. They were to big for the car. Dealer should know better. There is also a matter of paint that was damaged because of the tires. And NO WORKING seatbelts. Huge safety issue. We have attached the former complaint, and a lot of documentation to help support our claim. The FLHSMV found them to be in violation, but the dealer would not reimburse us. We sought retribution from the bond company and they would not reimburse us. This is all unacceptable. Yes the car was purchased AS IS. But we were deceived by the advertising and unable to have the Lemon Squad go and inspect the car for us. The dealer said they were not allowed there. When the car was delivered we see why. He deceived us and should be made to pay the damages. Especially since FLHSMV found them to be in violation. We have been respectful and have not gone public with our frustration. We would like to keep it that way. We just want what is owed to us to make the car like it should have been when it was purchased. We live in ******** and were definitely taken advantage of because we couldn't see the car in person. We couldn't have it inspected unless we used a local mechanic. We could not trust that and went to use the Lemon Squad and they were not allowed on the premises. We have attached the information we have. If there is any other things you need please let us know.
