We hired this company to epoxy our countertops, backsplash and an addition to our kitchen island. They required a deposit at time of contract, which we gave $1000 for. Then we paid $1200 on the first day they came out to start. They didnt return for another week. He project was to be completed 7/2-7/5. 7/10 came around and they still hadnt finished they never came back to finish the job and we didnt get our money reimbursed.

This company does not inform the customer that drips are normal. The owner never comes out to look at her employees work. I have bubbles on my counter with large amounts of dried epoxy. They did come out and repour a second time but its still looks horrible. These people need to come back after the allotted 5 hours and remove the tape and handle the drips and make sure there are no bubbles. This might be acceptable work for some people but not me. I would like my 495 back. Im going to have to replace my counter top.

On Sep 25 2022 the owner of ECU epoxy ****** came to my house to do my kitchen countertops. On our conversation she said her work had a warranty. She did her job, my granite counters were renewed with white/ grey epoxy, however after a little over a month after I noticed the edges of the counters are literally peeling off. I dont know what type of epoxy she used, but this is not what it should look like after two months. she refuses to take any responsibility and is making all types of excuses not to come back and fix it. I know I lost my money since I have to hire somebody else to fix it but I dont want other people falling for her poor customer service and lack of professionalism.

This company came out on June 7th to epoxy over my tops. Every review on ******** was positive. Little did I know all the complaints else where would be exactly what happened to me. ****** came out first to prep the tops. Then the artist came with an assistant and filled my home with the stench of marijuana. They were in and out of my home in 20 mins. There was excess left on the tops and it was on our backsplash and I was told by artist to use a razor blade to scrape off. So after paying for their service I now had to correct there error. I begin messaging ****** to ask about little bubbles as well and the color separating and the dripping that was occurring. She assured me the bubbles were normal that epoxy is imperfect. But that they would fix the excess dripping. I paid in full once they left I felt comfortable due to reviews and the fact their ******** says there licensed and insured. She has never returned. We messaged for months. There were soft spots where glasses or empty bowls would stick to and leave imprints. I did let her know this and she claims she doesnt know why. The tops looked awful. I paid her $1710 and was embarrassed to have company over. She was extremely rude and blew me off always stating they werent in the area. We had our cabinets scheduled to be painted 3 months after their job at her request so we didnt cause any harm to the paint. And she couldnt make it out so then I didnt feel comfortable having them come out to rectify after paying for the cabinets to be done. I offered to take back a **************************** my replacement costs. We ended up having to rip them out all together. She messaged she hadnt forgot about me and would do a payment plan but ***** replied since. I did let her know if she didnt move forward we would seek full reimbursement for the headaches and costly replacement due to their deceptive business practices

I hired CMS Epoxy Designs (aka as ECU Epoxy Flooring) to epoxy my countertops. The date of service was set for Tuesday, June 14, 2022. I was quoted $1800 as the price to complete my kitchen countertops. (see attached screenshots). They came out to complete the countertops and before they even left I kept asking about the dripping on the edges and the guy (do not recall his name) kept going behind what I viewed and rubbing out the drips saying it would look better once cured. I asked him if he was sure and he replied yes, that happens all the time. He also proceeded to tell me about a time the company was sued for moving a past customer's appliances, which resulted in them having to pay out 60K in damages to the consumer. I got very worried. I trusted the counter tops would come together - as I had no true point of reference of how epoxy countertops work. I reached out to them that same night of June 14th, 2022 at 7:25pm citing my concerns and that my little boy had touched the counter by accident and was asked to send pictures. I sent the pictures to Gerardo at 7:39pm. He stated "no is ok." (see attached screenshots of full response from him). Essentially he said they would be back in a few days to touch up and fix and that epoxy moves. I have repeatedly reached out. They did ask to come by my house on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 and said they could be there in 50 minutes, however they had provided no heads up and my husband and I were on our way to dinner for our 8th anniversary. I refuse to keep going in circles with them as they have done to other customers based on BB reviews (wish I would have seen these before going with them). I have reached out today, June 22, 2022 asking them to refund me back at least $1000 as I do not feel comfortable having them back in my house and because it has taken a week of me repeatedly following up with them to fix my counters. I do not foresee them being able to correct this. I think a return of $1000 is more than reasonable.
