This once respectful company has fallen into the same tragic pitfalls that are plaguing other small businesses across the country. Briefly, two years ago, I ordered ******* navels shortly after Christmas, but I was sent Honey Bells. Legally, they shipped me something I did not order, and federal law pretty clearly states that if a company sends you something you did not order, you are not required to pay for it. I called and was told my account would be credited. NEVER HAPPENED. This year, I ordered navels in November, which came and were OK, not as tasty as in previous years. I finished those and ordered another batch of ******* navels. What I received were ********** NAVELS. To me, that is an absolutely DECEITFUL and DISGRACEFUL way to fill anyone's order. You can't speak to anyone, nor will anyone call you back. If you read their website proclamations, they talk about "This is an exciting time for citrus,and we are eagerly anticipating providing you and your loved ones with the finest fruit available. Our goal is to exceed your expectations like never before!". In my judgement, they have profoundly failed in that regard. I refuse to support corporate entities that do anything they can to make money. Don't worry about your customers, just do everything you can to make as much money as you can. I suggest you look elsewhere for citrus fruits. Pell's ******************************** is one that I have found to be credible.
