I ordered a item and says I can return it within 12 days and I tried to email them to send me a return label and no response. I have sent 4 emails alreadyBusiness Response

This is not our store. We are located in ************************, and we are a furniture store. There's nothing in the entire store that is $40 nor do we ship anywhere other than local furniture deliveries.
This person is not one of our customers, and has never stepped foot in our store, bought any merchandise from us, nor do we have any record of.
We are pretty sure this complaint is for an online store also called Crazy Deals in which we have no affiliation with.

Purchased a couch, 9n Thanksgiving morning I sliced my right leg on the foot rest bar that fold the leg rest in an out, the part is assembled backwards which then reveals a 12 inch meat *******. I ended up in urgent care with 7 stitches, the store did nothing to offer a resolve other than the owner offering g me $880 for the urgent care bill and said I have to sign a waiver saying I will not go after them for further bills. They said they will do nothing with the couch as it was sold as is. It wasn't plugged in at the store when we bought it. I've given them time to fix issue now they say they won't talk to me with out a lawyer. I have a now permanent scar on my leg woth much discomfort a couch that could cut limbs off and they still expect me to pay for a improperly assembled couch,Business Response

Customer claims sofa was faulty months after purchasing and signing for merchandise. We have no proof the sofa cut customers leg, However we did offer to pay for customers medical fees. That was not good enough. HE BOUGHT MERCHANDISE SOLD AS IS WITH ALL INVOICES SIGNED. The merchandise was assembled properly. And it was fine for months.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:I was injured less than 1 month of purchasing a $1000 couch, and your manager said we had a warranty and then backed out of saying she'd help woth anything that was wrong woth couch, I have the entire conversation saved via txt. They lied to us, I just want all of my medical bills paid for *** the couch to be replaced or fixed. If you look ar the receipt you can see I was injured in Thanksgiving and the couch was purchased l3ss than 4 weeks prior to injuries, they showed no compassion didn't ask to cime see couch. I would be willing to settle for medical bills, prescriptions, cost of 1s aid items and to allow us to pay off remainder of couch I think is fair.

You did not ask for medical bills to be paid, you demanded $5k. We have the text messages as well. We also are not sure the sofa is what did the damage to your leg. The recipt CLEARLY shows that I purchased weeks prior to incident, I called store about it immediately and asked for help, your reputation is on the line and your still making a case for me to get a lawyer, that states that your admitting guilt. On what planet do you think we are fabricating this story? I've been 100% honest in this whole.process fr9m day 1 asking for assistance and you've done nothing but deny guilt. So your telling me in 3 weeks after purchasing couch "I" altered the couch and disassembled it and put it together improperly? Your not going to get away woth negligence by saying ot was sold as is. My wife and I are both witnesses to your store manager saying if there is anything wrong woth couch to call you, well we did and you sent me to a lawyer. All I asked for from you was the claim that you had failed this woth your insurance company. You then said you wouldn't speak to me unless there was a lawyer. I NEVER threatened woth a lawyer, all I asked is that you do the right thing. So until that is done I will continue with my case. Again if this was a child that got impaled by this couch yo8d be on the news!!! But it's not so your trying to lie your way out of this! Don't forget it's the small guys who keep companies you alive. I'm bot going down without a fight for us little guys!!! Your not getting away woth this, especially after a hurricane!!! How dare you take advantage people by lying!

Why should I have to hire a lawyer to fix your issue? You should pay for the damages that were caused and pay for all my medical bills! Why will you not work with me? I still want to see the claim that you made to your insurance company? Why when I asked you for that did you then refer me to a lawyer? Your selling items that were damaged or assembled improperly due to hurricane *** as sold as is? Do the right thing here and pay for your mistakes and stop trying to say this isn't your fault, you have never sent anyone to come look at the couch, why did your manager say if there was anything wrong with it to let you know? What a joke! Your a dishonest company praying on hurricane survivors! Why should I hire a lawyer to cover for you negligence? Do the right thing here please. Stop praying on on the people who just lost everytdue to hurricane ***. This is a horrible way of doing business. If your asking me to get a lawyer that's admitting guilt. You can see in this picture that the red dot is supposed to be on the inside!!! So your accusing me of disassembling the couch is what your saying? Not 3 weeks after I purchased this couch did this happen! You lied to the bbb saying it's been months that we had it when this happened, when clearly it happened not 3 weeks after purchase!!! So that lie #1 2nd lie is that your store manager and deliver men said if we have any issues to let store know. So that's a lie also, so 3 of YOUR employees lied to us your saying? Some scam you have going here at your store!!! Of I have to sit in front of your store and tell people not to shop there I can, don't want to but not going to let you get away with this! What if this cut a child? This would be a different story, but you think I'm trying to scam you? The ONLY treason I mentioned 5k was because of what ****** and ****** instructed me to do and ask you for your insurance claim with the statue # I sent you. Instantly after I mentioned that # you purchased your tail between your legs and told me to get a lawyer!!! Seems like your lying to yourself here, again do the right thing here. I'm not giving up on this and won't go away, you can't treat people like this. This is unethical and not a way to run a business!!!! You have showd no compassion sympathy at all. Just told me to lawyer up!!! That's admitting guilt by telling me to go to a lawyer, what are you hiding that I need to get a lawyer. I'm not going to let you treat us like this!
