1 starborrowed my 86 year old grandmothers car to take my wife to ******************. We had our baby delivered there by C section. When I dropped my wife off at the door there was no available parking so I drove around the building and parked. After our child was delivered I spent the night with my wife and had to go back to ************ the next afternoon to pick our son up from the bus stop. When I went to leave the car had been towed. I went to the security and they said there is nothing they can do they dont own that part of the hospital parking lot. So I called tri county. They told me I had to bring the owner of the car to get it and wouldnt tell me how much it would be. Frustrated I had to have my mother in law pick up my son then called my uncle who had to go pick my grandmother up who isnt well and bring her from vero to get the car out. When we pulled up to the tow yard office my uncle pulled up close to the door so my grand mother didnt have to walk far. I got out and went to the door and the owner threw the door open and started yelling and cussing about how close we parked to his building. After yelling and screaming at me I tried to talk to him but it just ended in and loud argument in front of my grandmother. Then the owner told me to F off and shut the door in my face. After standing in front of his door for several minutes one of the office worker finally sent someone out to our truck to have my grandmother sign for the car. Then after another extended time the owner came out and handed me a sticky note with the price 307$. I handed him my card and he says cash only. So minutes to 5:00 when they close I had to go find a ATM and get the cash. Very disrespectful very unethical. The owner has no problem cussing people out in front of a 86 year old grandmother sitting right in front of him. With as many cameras as he has in front of his door the whole thing is recorded so he cant say it didnt happen.Review fromHernan Z

This is the worst towing company I ever had to deal with, I got pulled over by the police and the car I was driving is my friend's car, the officer called them to tow my car and *** the truck driver told me he was going to let me get my personal belongings from the car when the police officer was present but when he dropped me off at a gas station at 3 am he changed the story, he didn't even let me get my jacket and it was freezing(01/20/2025), I called their dispatch but ***** the lady that answered was extremely rude and unprofessional, I tried to explain to her that I was moving from ************** to ******* and all my stuff was in the car and I needed at least my backpack and my jacket but she was rude and hung up on me, I called again and asked her to call their driver to turn off my car headlights on top of their tow truck and se said all their drivers are professional and hung up on me again, she threatened me with calling the police on me because I was still in their truck cabin, completely disregarding how cold it was outside, the following monday I tried to call to find out how much I need to pay to get the car back but they won't provide any info at all, they know I'm far im8 hours away, everything looks like they are trying to keep my car, I honestly think that this tow company should not be in business, their customer service in the office and their drivers are very unprofessional and rudeTri County Automotive & Towing

Absolutely a dirty business... Paid bill in full, verified by phone that funds were received, went to pick up trailer and was held hostage for ANOTHER $700+. How can companies operate like this? Unprofessional on the phone, no interest in its' customers, willing to ***** and hold hostage... ******************* asked for a receipt and provided a receipt with NO AMOUNTS OR CHARGES LISTED... DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY... STAY AWAY from Tri-County ***********************************************Tri County Automotive & Towing

The invoice was sent over to the adjustor. The bill that was Paid was for the towing from accident and recovery on scene and storage. The trailer was in accident, I am not aware of the condition of tractor or trailer. Normally the insurance adjustor comes out to inspect and lets the owner know the condition. My drivers had to tow the truck and trailer in to or location with a tow truck and the customer was aware.Review fromCraig D.

1 starWife was in accident on ********* ****** called Tri-county to tow car. Allstate decided to total car and we went to collect belongings from destroyed car. Office treated us like criminals. We could not see our car to take photos for accident attorney and even though car is destroyed with easy access they made us drive 45 min back home to get car key. Dont let your car get towed to Tri County after an accident. Its going into car prison.Review fromkhalid z

1 starMy review is the same as everyone else on this page. This company is rude and unprofessional. One star is generous. My car was towed from Lawnwood Hospital, while I was dealing with a child in the PICU. I apparently parked, inadvertently, in a private parking lot that appeared to be part of the hospital property. They would not speak to my wife about the car and provide any information about its location. They would only take cash. No-one would answer the door or speak to you in person. I had to bang on the door to get any assistance and had to shove paperwork and the cash through a slot. They couldn't provide correct change for the charge. Someone did eventually come out and only managed to threaten me. It felt you your dealing with the New York mafia to get your car back.Review fromPaul D

1 starMy story is pretty similar with a surprising twist at the end that should upset any decent human being. After a tow away (nothing criminal or illegal) because of some silly condo association rule it took two weeks to get vehicle back. Same run around with paper work, cash only, no change blah blah blah They never give you any pertinent information all to extort more money out of you. This story is longer and more intricate but to sum it up after $960 I regained possession of vehicle. A few days later I noticed an oil stain in driveway. Upon inspection, low and behold the oil filter had been loosened by someone. FYI, oil filters do not just loosen on their own. Now I am not necessarily blaming this immoral and unethical company but but its not hard for a rational person to put things together. It is pretty obvious from these reviews and attempted responses by this immoral unethical company that they should be held criminally responsible for extortion of money from innocent consumers. They hide behind the phone and use their employees along with poorly regulated business practices to feign some sort of fake authority over the consumer. At the end they feel they can legally extort money from innocent people all the while being as rude and unforthcoming as possible. Its unfortunate (If it has not happened already) that one of their unknowing employees will take the brunt of their immoral and unethical practices. Its unfortunate that we as the consumers have no reasonable recourse of action to hold them responsible. You can only try to warn every association that has contracts with this horrible company to use someone else., never use them personally, and if found in the unfortunate situation of having your vehicle being held hostage by these people immediately involve local police to aid in your attempt to get a vehicle back. I beg of the BBB to continue to pressure this company into some sort of decency before more innocent consumers are victimized.Review fromAlexandra H

1 starI recently tried to renew my vehicle registration found out I could not do so due to a lien from TCT. I traded in my old vehicle to the dealership back in March of 2021. I have the buyers receipt which assigns all rights, titles, and interests to the dealership upon purchase. The vehicle was sold at an auction by AM Auto Sales LLC. TCT was the company who picked up the vehicle. The date of the lien was July of 2021.I can understand why TCT charged me with the fine and originally put the lien in my name. The didn't know the background. I contacted TCT in order to work out the logistics of this issue. I have a buyers trade-in receipt which relinquishes me of responsibility and legally removed me from a lien. Every person I spoke to was incredibly rude, disrespectful, and unknowledgeable of how the legal process works. The owner told me he would hang up on me for being such a b." I asked for a digital receipt that I could take to the dealership and he told me he was too busy to send those documents. After the situation was explained, the owner told me he still would not remove my lien unless I paid him the $800. He did not care it illegal blackmail. The Director of Titles/Registration at the dealership became involved. She attempted to speak to Tri-County Towing on multiple different occasions, throughout a series of days. The owner didnt care about the legal buyers receipt and was screaming in the background that I was responsible. The Director of Titles/Registration sent this information to the **** which removed the illegal lien from my name and allowed me to renew my registration. They attempted to blackmail me into payment, even after proof of relinquishment was shown, they were unwilling to remove the lien. They are selfish, unprofessional, and unhinged. The dealership has started a complaint against the company and I have already filed a complaint through multiple different outlets, including BBB, *******, ******* Attorney General, and others.Review fromKATHY P.
