On April 13th, we put a $500.00 Good Faith ******** Deposit on an **, pending Business Financing from a local bank because Sun Camper Liquidators doesn't offer business loans. Monday April 15th, we applied and did not receive approval of the business loan and I called *************************, and he said that ******************* handles refunds. After 3 emails, 3 text messages and 3 voicemails NO one has returned our calls or our Good Faith ******** Deposit. On Saturday April 20th, we drove over to Sun Camper **, and I was told by ************************* that THEY DO NOT give refunds on ******** Deposits. We never signed any paperwork with this company at all. The purchased of the ** was based on us getting a business loan from a bank which didn't occur. We would like our $500.00 Good Faith ******** Deposit back today.Initial Complaint

I bought a brand new 2022 Jayco travel trailer from Sun Camper Liquidators on 5/19/2022. I was assured the coach was under warranty and that anything that goes wrong they will fix it under warranty. I paid $75,145.09 to this dealership for the travel trailer and expected them to live up to their promise. I reached out to them 8 days after the sale due to my awning falling completely off the side of the trailer (which had never been extended since it was brand new) and they told me it was wind damage and they won't cover it. I had to find another dealership to get this fixed. I also reached back out to Sun Camper Liquidators when my coach caught on fire. This was due to the incorrect factory hookup of the solar controller causing my battery to constantly charge without shutting off. I have the fire/spill/police report for the incident as well as photos of the damage. They told me I had to contact the ** manufacturer.Business Response

This information is not accurate, Customer did not want to bring the unit in for repair after we got the full approvals for the customer. Customer had to be refered to a mobile tech as we do not have mobile service. We spent much time and effort to get approvals based on pictures that were sent. Customer was able to take the approvals and have repairs performed.

I am rejecting this response because: I have tried multiple times to contact the dealership to remedy the situation but no response was received. The poor customer service and endless run-around of phone transfers is ridiculous. I understand that things go wrong with RVs but to not help at all is shameful.

I purchased a new 2022 Cherokee 5 wheel. Unfortunately I was unable to find a lot that would accept the size of the unit or had an available lot for rent. I called the ** and asked if I could cancel the contract within ***** hours due to not having a place to have the unit delivered to and instead of assisting with alternatives, they proceeded to turn me away and decline calls. Numerous emails were sent before I received a response. I went to the dealership and the managers coincidentally happened to always be out of office or unavailable. We agreed to put the unit on co-signment to sell it, which it spent 5 months and never sold. I went one day to see if the unit was being advertised and when entering into the unit it was covered in gravel and the bathroom had urine everywhere which i have pictures to show the condition. We discussed if I could downsize the unit and I was informed that I had to pay an additional ****** because the price of the brand new, never taken out of the dealerships possession, had depreciated and no longer is considered new. I contacted the credit company and they stated the contract COULD indeed be cancelled but the dealership would have to initiate the cancellation but refused to do anything to help instead. This then left me with no other option but to voluntarily surrender the unit to the creditor and now that the unit has sold Im responsible to pay the creditor the remainder balance and take damage to my credit when the unit never left their possession! Its been months and they have yet to refund the ************** insurance because of course its collecting interest to profit them not to mention my down payment/ numerous ********************* This business states online that they are committed to making ones experience the best it can possibly be but on the contrary made it the worst experience ever! Do not advertise what you cant hold up to! This family owned company thrives off of being thieves & causing damage to customers!Business Response

To whom it may concern, Sun Camper sold this trailer to the customer in good faith, and in good faith and we accepted the trailer back on consignment in effort to help the customer sell the trailer. The trailer was advertised and cleanned for the customer and marketed on many paid sites which we did not charge for. The consumer signed a consignment contract and we did our best to sell the unit for them.
The return of gap and warrenty monies due the customer or bank have been requested from the provider of these items and when recieved will be sent on the consumers behalf. ******** did not send the orginal cancelations as required as normally the customer is responsible for sending in cancelations, this slowed down the process but customer will have credit in an estmated 2 week or less.

I am rejecting this response because although the business may state that they advertised the unit while on consignment, they never provided evidence or showed proof that they were doing such thing when asked for. I even went numerous times to speak to a manager and they coincidentally never happened to be there. It mentioned in their response as well that the unit was cleaned but, I have images that prove that is disinformation as well. The unit never left their property or was taken out of their possession so there was no reason for it to be in any condition less then new. In regards to the gap and warranty, the unit was voluntarily surrendered in February and its now 9 months later.

I am shopping for a trailer and found a Cherokee Grey Wolf 274BRBBL in ********* that we liked. We live in ***** and came across Sun Campers RVs website, which is closer to home, and their online claim of 100% nationwide new price beat guarantee. I obtained a buyers order for the same trailer for an out the door, no hidden fees price from the ********* dealer and Sun Camper refuses to beat that price, despite their online claim that was confirmed on a phone call. On Saturday, February 25, 2023, I went to the dealer and met with the sales manager who stated that he could not lower the price of the trailer and that the advertised price of $40,900 was the best they could do on their trailer. I would like for them to remove their claim of being able to beat anyone elses price, and I would like for them to honor the lower price I got from the other dealer.Business Response

This compliant should be removed, as this customer is not comparing the same units. This unit was not equipped for a second a/c unit prep which ours was. This includes a fully different wiring harness, convertor, power cord and electrical connection that allows for the possibility of installing a second a/c unit, know as 50 amp.
The unit they sent had 30 amp service so it would never be able to have a second a/c unit.
We verified all this information with the manufacture rep that produced both build sheets.
The contract they sent also does not show the shipping charge that would be added when they signed the contract. This contract that was provided was also not signed by anyone, and we did tell the customer if they could get a signed copy stating the shipping fees we would match the price plus the additional charge of the option not provided by the other unit.
Customer also reached out to manufacture and could get all this information from them directly.
This is like buying a base truck vs leather seats in a truck, they are the same model but not the same truck.

We purchased an ** travel trailer from Sun Campers in ****************, **. We pay extra for the warranty. We have been calling to get the ** repaired for over 2 years. We are constantly being told someone will call us back and no one ever does. They pretend they will make an appointment, but no one does. They frequently do not answer the phone or tell us the service person is unavailable. AFTER 2 years of calling this is not true at all. Refund the warranty money I pay or fix all the issues we have brought to you. I will continue to review this location in all the places I can to get the word out that Sun Campers in ****************, ** does not care and are essentially thieves.
