This facility is disorganized and putting mentally ill people at risk for hurting themselves and others. Any and all medication issues that happen between appointments with the doctor(usually 30-90 days between appointments), need to be directed to Miranda. When calling the facility, and dialing 3 for Medication Management, Miranda does not answer the phone at any time during the day, and when you reach voicemail, she states that she will return your call within 24-48 hours. I am disabled (bipolar) and I need my medication or else I am at risk of being hospitalized for an episode. I was having an issue with my insurance, which required a pre authorization to resolve. The soonest available appointment to see my doctor was on May 9th. On April 22nd, I called and left a message around 9am. I continued to call during business hours everyday and left multiple messages until I decided to find a new doctor. I even asked one of the receptionists to leave a note on her desk to contact me asap. I was going to run out of medication by the end of the week, and I mentioned this in my many voicemails. It is currently the 26th and she has not returned any of my calls, even though she states she will return your call in 24-48 hours. This is medical negligence because she is in charge of medication management for many mentally ill patients, including those with disabilities, she is the only person who can resolve this issue, and she is neglecting to answer her voicemails. There is no way to schedule an appointment with her. I had to resort to rationing my medication until I was able to get a sooner appointment with another doctor at a different facility. This situation has caused me severe stress, sleepless nights, and an episode due to rationing my medication. She is neglecting vital responsibilities associated with her position. If I am experiencing this issue, I wonder how many others are trying to reach her for emergency situations.
