In December I decided to try BuzzRx to refill my prescription Armour Thyroid 60 mg, 90 day supply. I printed out the coupon from their website, along with the ** card I received. The coupon stated that the price for that prescription would be $63.72. When the pharmacist entered all the pertinent data, the price she was getting was $103.85. I called the helpline and was told to go to the website because that price was for NP Thyroid. Yet, on the coupon I printed from their website clearly states Armour Thyroid 60mg 90 tabs with the ******* logo which is where I have my prescriptions filled. When I returned home, I called the helpline again and asked to speak to a manager. I was on hold 35+ minutes before it appeared that no one was going to answer the call. I then went to their website and attempted to "Contact" them twice. In neither instance did the response go through. I then mailed them a letter stating my concerns along with copies of the coupon and prescription information from the pharmacy. It is now February 1st and I have yet to hear back from BuzzRX. It appears that this was a "bait and switch" situation, possibly a scam.

BuzzRx - Does not honor their Coupons March 6, 2023 My wife was prescribed a medication for an unusual skin condition that was sent to CVS & it turn out not to be covered by insurance & priced at ~ $170 for one 60 gram tube. After a computer search, I discovered & printed a Buzz Rx coupon for $56.12 at Safeway. I requested that the prescription be transferred to Safeway which they had to order. When the medication arrived at Safeway & I presented the BuzzRx coupon the computer price from BuzzRx came back at ~ $145. I subsequently called the BuzzRx Helpline & was informed their computer pricing was down & they could not change the price. I asked them if they were going to honor their coupon & was told by both the representative & their supervisor that NO BuzzRx would not honor their own coupon. I would not recommend that anyone use BuzzRx as they not stand behind their commitments.

Dear Mr. *******  We apologize for the length of time it took for us to see and respond to this message – there was an issue with us having a duplicate BBB account, which has been missed until now. We are sorry our customer service could not resolve this issue for you; there are a few theories as to what could have happened. So you are aware, our customer service team does not have any control over pricing – our prices are negotiated directly with pharmacies, and while we always aim to show the most accurate pricing, there are some scenarios where the price on our website may not match the price at the pharmacy counter. The reason is that many pharmacies carry multiple products identified as an NDC number – you can think of this as a product SKU number. When there are multiple NDCs, or in other words, the same medication from different manufacturers, there can be multiple prices for the same product. Therefore, the price can depend on what the pharmacy carries and has in stock. That is most likely what happened in your case. We recognize that these products were vastly different in price, which the manufacturer sets. Should this happen in the future, I suggest trying a different pharmacy and coupon or calling the pharmacy to confirm that the coupon price reflects what they have in stock. Additionally, it is possible that the strength and quantity of the medication on the coupon did not match your prescription, causing the price to vary at the pharmacy. We apologize for being unable to help you save money under these circumstances. We hope you will try BuzzRx again when there is medication not covered by insurance. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can assist you with. Best, BuzzRx Team
