The dealer caused damages to my car and refused to issue a refund for the service also refused to provide a receipt showing the work done for the repairs for the damage. Dealer refused to repair or even do any assessments to the damage that might have been done to the vehicle because of the broken AC filter frame after they broke the filer frame on my car and left it broken for over 4 months

I purchased a 2021 Acura TLX on October 30, 2023 from Tim Smith Acura in Fort Walton Beach, FL. While driving, I noticed rattling in the rear speakers. Prior to taking my vehicle to the dealership, I’d also noticed broken glass in the trunk. I’d reached out to my salesman Gene ****** and inquired about the broken glass and I asked had a window been replaced. He assured me a window had not been replaced as that would void the vehicle being certified. I took my vehicle to the local dealership for another repair and asked them to check it out. It was discovered that indeed the rear window had been replaced and glass had gotten into the area where the speakers are. The dealership stated it would cost $600 to remove the paneling to get to the speakers and it’s not covered under warranty. I contacted Mr. ****** and he had the service manager to contact the dealership. Mr. ****** stated he would get with the general manager and get back with me. A few days had gone by and reached out to Mr. ****** again. He stated the general manager was out and was awaiting a word from him as to how to proceed. On January 31, 2024, I received the following text from Mr. ****** stating “Good morning Shenika, I talked with the General Sales Manager. He said this is one of those crazy situations that you we have never experienced. Warranty is not going to cover anything because the certification inspection checked out and it was something prior to when we received the vehicle. Because we actually care and want to help he is going to help you with $250. I will get the check request form filled out and have the check mailed to your home address *** ****** *t Ridgeland MS 39157.” I replied, “This is unacceptable...please give me a call Mr. ******.” I have yet to receive a call back, the check or alternate solution to solve this problem.

Two visits for clunk/pop noise in an 2021 Acura ILX, 13000 miles, purchased new when accelerating or decelerating between 20 - 45 mph. First time Tim Smith Acura had the car a week, no paperwork provided, but they stated they torqued some bolts that could have caused the issue. Second visit 10/31/22, same issue. The service manager (Tom) test drove and acknowledged hearing the noise. He stated he thought it might be a motor mount or something similar causing the issue. He stated it would be taken care of. phone call on 11/2/22 stating that the noise is normal for this car and to come pick it up and nothing they can do. We feel this is unacceptable and worry about further issues related to the issue. I cannot imagine any Acura owner would accept this response for a car under warranty. We simply want the issue addressed and remedied. I feel that Acura should provide a reliable and trustworthy product to their customers. I purchased this Acura for it’s good name. If this Acura had made that noise during the test drive, I would not have purchased. The noise is NOT normal.
