6/23/2022 I took my 2 dogs to Pampered Pet Spa & Daycare. I've used this salon for both grooming as well as Daycare for the past 2 years. On this day I went in for the appointment I'd set several days in advance over the phone. When I arrived there was a lady that I didn't recognize and 2 or 3 very young ladies there. The older lady greeted me and stated she was the new groomer. I left the dogs with her. I picked them up a couple hours later. My dogs looked horrible, unclean and unhappy. I paid the requested amount of $100. at that point. After getting home and a couple days passed I noticed one of my dogs was actually not well. I then noticed a large sore that appeared infected. I returned and spoke to groomer. She took a picture and promised to have owner contact me. He didn't. I went to vet and dog was treated with pain shot, pain pills, antibiotic pills and ointment. I returned to salon next day asking for contact info for owner. The lady refused to give me that. She looked at the vet bill and said both my vet and I should research sensitive skin. She denied causing injury. I was finally able to find owner info without her help. Owner refused to be helpful also. Yesterday, on 7/11/22 I had to take pet back to vet for second round of meds because infection hasn't cleared up. I canceled payment for this grooming until we have a resolution. I've learned that the groomer is not a groomer and I told owner that she's going to possibly kill someone's pet and their blood will be on his hands. Not only doesn't the groomer have qualifications I suspect she's allowing the 3 very young daughters of hers assisting her with grooming.
