If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I contacted Nationwide Trucking of America for a move I needed from UT to NC. They provided me a quote. I paid. About a week before the planned move, they did another check on items, which they said I had more items & needed to pay more, so I did since I was about a week away from moving. My items were scheduled to be picked up on 10/24, so I had enough time to clean the house before I flew to NC . The movers showed up to my house 8pm 10/26 (2 days late) and were not able to load my belongings because they ran out of "work time". They did a quick inventory of my packed items & said they didn't account for the "various sizes of the boxes" so I needed to pay more (Almost DOUBLE the original quote) I had no other options, so I had to pay them, since I was up against a tight deadline. They showed up the next morning to pack my belongings, as I left for the airport. Less than ideal, but we made arrangements & made it work. They completed the load on 10/27 & my items started their journey to NC... or so I thought. Nationwide had Sam & Sons Moving handle my move. Another company/ group of humans you DO NOT want to deal with. My items did not show up to my new residence in NC until 2/4!!! The serious lack of communication, respect & urgency I experienced from when my items were finally picked up on 10/27 until they finally arrived on 2/4 was UNREAL. I spent the holidays camping in my new home. No one cared. It was more than 3 months before I finally could start to put my new home together. When I went to file a claim to get a partial refund for how late my items were, I was informed Sam & Sons had gone out of business & I wasn't able to get any refund. DO NOT USE Nationwide Tucking of America.

They received my contact information through a website that sells your info concerning moving. That is a normal thing, and I was not upset about this. Their agent *** ****** texted me about a quote for moving. I decided not to use a service and replied, "Stop", *** replied to that and asked why I told him too many people were reaching out and bugging me. He made a pitch reply which was his attempt to make the sale. A week later, he sent me another text, which I ignored. Then sends me another text being pushy. I reply, "Read your history, I told you to stop." This was when he started to be rude and very unprofessional. asking why I put in the inquiry and why I am so angry and "you're the smarty pants that filled something out online. Like Hello, I wonder if I am going to get calls". As you know SMS has strict laws and if someone replied Stop then they need to be removed from the SMS list, not harassed and called names. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Also, breaking SMS compliance so they are dishonest. Hope the rest of the company doesn't reflect the culture and unprofessionalism *** showed.

Very disappointed with the lack of communication. I was told one day . That then changed without a new date . I cant get in contact with the movers that picked up my belongings to get a delivery date . The move was $1000 more without a real breakdown . When voicing my concern the woman on the phone continued to speak over me and tell me I should be contacting the mover directly (who still has not answered the phone for me ) . I would like a date for my delivery so I can properly plan for my move to be completed . I am also inconveniencing my friend who is staying in the apartment awaiting a call just in case . I couldnt stay in my furniture less apartment with my 63 year old mother so we got a hotel for the night another expense . If the date of the delivery was not the dates I flew out to complete the delivery I would have changed it to another time . My original delivery date was the 19th or 20th . I was told it may be anytime before the 1st . I would have not moved in so earlier either . Just a lot of money spent due to poor communication . No response to text as well .
