    I had a tax preparer from this company file my taxes for me February 2025. I was not told a price I was being charged until I seen the big difference in the refund amount with them and what the irs was saying. She did 20 minutes worth of work and ended up charging me and my wife $1060. Im on a fixed income and my wife takes care of me and she did a little doordashing. This is so unfair and this company definitely needs investigating.

    I thought when I called this business it was the *** achieving to do my taxes with a tax helper for free I was extremely tired just got home from work working 10 hours shift I just wanted to get them done by *** & be done with it The whole time on the phone with this business Thought it was *** I didn't even read what I was signing Not once did they mention price if they would of then I would of known it was not the *** So I signed this very tired & next morning then I reaLized this wasn't the *** but some scam tax placed in ******* I called them & explained that I am living in poverty unemployed right now due to being laid off They could care ******** am out 500,$ they scammed.     I CALLED THE COMPANY THAT I'M REACHING OUT ABOUT TODAY . I CALLED THEM 01/31/ 2024 AND SPOKE TO A MAN NAMED ****** ***** AND INFORMED HIM THAT I WAS INQUIRING ABOUT GETTING MY AGI NUMBER SO I CAN FINISH MT TURBO TAX DURING THIS CONVERSATION A FEE WAS NEVER MENTIONED NOT ONE TIME .THE NUMBER I CALLED WAS ************** THAT WAS HECTORS NUMBER .     I called to get my agi and a lady said no problem I will help you with this I will go ahead and file them for you. Never once did she tell me how much they charged me. Im 61 years. They changed me over 500 dollars to do a simple tax return. They want answer calls.. I cant find and email for them. I want my money back. This is a disgrace

    I wanted to file my taxes and they told me they do it for the military people for free. But they make me pay them $661 without me knowing about it, they just send me a doc sign and told me to signe it, i dont mind paying money to someone for a service but you cant say its free for army service members. than take directly $661 without letting them know about it. I didnt know about the Fee until 21 day after the service. I couldnt get any update on my refund so i had to call IRS to check whats going on with it to just realize the amount i was putting was wrong.

    Called to get help with question on how to figure AGI Call was forwarded to Providence Tax Prep LLC ( was not told this) as I called IRs.gov . File for free.This was very deceitful because the lady never told me there was a charge for filing the complete forms. Forms were forwarded for me to sign which I did, assuming this was a free service. Forms were for signed as she waited for me to sign. No time given to read and still no mention of charges. I am unable to work,income was $10989 for 2023. I certainly would not have paid anyone to fill out my taxes due to my financial status. she must have known that I was below poverty line and when I did question her about charges, she could not tell me - said I would have to look at my return. She should have told me about fees when she looked at my W2 showing my income. I also found out, I could have filed free thru IRS program. I had no knowledge of tax filing and from the questions I ask her, she must have known I knew nothing about forms and filing. Still no mention of fees the whole time. It is a too late to find out charges if one has to wait til taxes are complete and filed. Have Tried to call numerous times but no return call . Communication very poor !tried to call her but no response.it is just good business to recommend another source of people who could have helped me for free when she saw my income for the year $10989! The whole thing was deceitful - I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone simply because they never said anything a fee of any amount or that there was a fee of any amount due to my financial situation. I live alone and am under doctors care .To me, it scam when you ask about charges and not given ANY information - not even stated yes there is charges but I cannot give amount right now. Taxes were filed without my knowledge of any charges. Due to my low income I would have waited and got taxes filled out for free . NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. GREEDY!

    This occurred March 7, 2024 - Since that date I have gone thru each form sent to me. TheW2 I received stated earning ******** they used ***** -  wanted and requested info on Work Sheet A and how this was calculated - The DOCUsign sheet has the signer events and there is no way any one could read all those items listed and yet it was not questioned or was I ever ask if I understood the forms - she never mentioned fees except that she could not tell me I would have to read it on my return !  Who makes less than $11,000 would pay $530?  I want to know about the 1095-A FORM AND FORM 8962 THAT WAS FILLED out.   I know very little about taxes and would like explained to me.  I have read the instruction sheets and still do not understand. Rates are very high and to refuse to disclose that is deceit and especially with my total earnings ********* - she checked I was working on one of the forms but I have not been working for some time due to illness.  I did not call them direct on the first communication,its.gov and was automatically transferred without my knowledge nor informed - they said just a moment and I will get someone to help you.  Never informed I was being referred to a company that charged or that I would be charged just a very nice, How can I help you today - no mention of company, charges and etc til form had been filed.  Did not see forms til they were sent to IRS!
