      11/18/23 $15738.60 (financed) I leased a car from indicar credit , *************************** my car through GREATER FINANCIAL RESOURCES which is indicator credit .. despite the horror stories & negative reviews because I was SOOO desperate for a car. They have been ripping people off for years . I pay $720 a month ($183.36/wk) , $200 a month for gap insurance ($50/wk) . When I signed to finance my car I was told I wouldnt need insurance as long as I paid for my gap which is a lie . In my contract it also states that Im supposed to have 2-24hr codes (48hrs) for each payment period . Since their cars come with Passtime gps they can cut your car off . For the last 3 weeks they have not honored this part of the contract. When I called to recieve information and seek help on what to do staff was rude and unprofessional I dont know what to tell you I cant help you . Stating that they do not control the codes being sent out . When I spoke to the Passtime gps company they stated that it is up to the companys discretion. When I called back the business was rude and repeatedly hung up in my face . I had to call about ***** times since they cut my car off and had me stranded on Mothers Day with my ********** did not care they continued to be rude and did not keep up their end of the contract.

      I purchased a car from Indi car credit on April 2,2024. Greater Financial Resources is the finance company that approved the loan, The day that I signed the contract I was not informed that indi car credit place a pass time gps on the car in case you miss a payment, even though I paid my payment on April 13,2024 I was not able to start the car the same day around 6pm I had to wait for 20 to 30 mins before I could start the car then I was stranded for 12 hours April 15,2024 for no apparent reason again. I called both companies on April 16, ******************************************************************************************************************* Also I did not want to keep ************* (which states that it is optional) but ***** at Greater Financial who I spoke with on 4/17/24 informed me that the only way that I could remove the optional gap insurance is for me get insurance with Progressive or Geico the only two options and that it had to be paid in full with a secured payment even though I have my own insurance with Bristol west and if I dont get insurance with either company I had no choice but to keep the gap insurance which states is optional. None of this information is in the contract, I asked ***** at Greater financial how could I go about returning the car and getting my money back, he informed me that I couldnt get a refund and even if I voluntarily returned the car after only 15 days that it would go into my credit report.

      I have been having problems with the company I want to remove the gap insurance off of the car which is optional, but the finance company is giving me the runaround basically making me keep gap Insurance. I was first told that I had to be insured by only two certain Companies then I called and spoke with ***** And I told him I Have my own insurance I do not want gap insurance. Why are you forcing me to keep gap insurance? He keeps telling me that I have to have certain requirements to remove gap insurance, even though its optional. I told him I want to remove the gap insurance and I have been telling him for the last month. He keeps coming up with requirements on how I can get rid of gap insurance and then tells me that it has to be approved. I have never heard of this especially when gap insurance is optional, you are not required to keep it. I am not breaking contract if I do not keep gap insurance. he told me to go over the contract And I keep informing him that it does not stay on the contract where I am forced to keep gap insurance again, which is optional.

      Desired Outcome: Remove the optional gap insurance

      They told me what ever to get my down payment for commission then they put it on there on financing company and took my car for 1 late payments

      I financed a 2010 **** Fusion from them on 12/21/2023. I traded my 2004 Buick Rendezvous for the Fusion. Two weeks after I got the car I started having issues with accelerating and shifting gears. I called *************** and told them I was having issues with the car and they kept lying saying their mechanic manager wasnt in and that they would have him call me once he came in. Another two weeks passed and I still heard nothing so I had the car towed to a mechanic who told me the axle seals were damaged, the transmission mounts were damaged and the transmission was slipping. I notified indi and thats when they told me to bring the car in and they would try to fix it or they would put me in another car. I have missed work due to the car not being safe to drive so I missed on weeks payment. I brought the car to the lot on February 6th. Once I get the car there and they take it to the back they tell me that they arent going to even look at the car or try to fix it until I make the payment. I asked if I could get something in writing confirming that they are going to fix the car or put me in another one once I make the payment and they said they couldnt do it. I told them I will make the payment but I need some guarantee that I am not going to be without a car. I got suspended from my job due to missing so many days dealing with this car so they money that I had left I wanted to make sure I could feed my kids and get them back and forth to school. They refused to give me anything in writing so I said they could keep the car and I would just get my tag and my belongings out of the car. They refused to let me get my license plate and my other belongings from the vehicle until I made a payment.

      On Nov 17th they received a call from me informing them that even after payment, my car would not start. They stated that they weren't sure why and to figure it out on my own and he hung up in my face. I continued to call because I was unsure of what was wrong with the car, I had just the car from the 3-4 weeks prior. The man on the other end cursed me out and kept hanging up in my face. I called one last time and told him they needed to fix this considering I just got the car. He told me he was sending a tow truck and I "better not had messed up anything in the car." All these calls I have recorded. They didn't come pick up the car until the 20th. Now it is the 30th. They are telling me I need to find a way to come pick up my car or they will REPO it. After being cursed out and disrespected, I'm at a place where I no longer want the car. Called me out my name and made me feel less than, like a child. I get threatened to drive 2hrs into the city to come pick up my car, or I was not going to have a car. This business does not deserve to be in business. makes me wish I read the reviews on ****** before hand.

      NOT EVEN 1 STAR! ****** ** ********** *** *****. The first car they have me I paid 175$ a week never being late, always having to call bc they never turn in the insurance and have DNV trying to suspend your license bc of their negligence! YOU CANT UNDERSTAND ANYTHING ****** SAYS BC HE HAS A SPEAK IMPEDIMENT & ANGER ISSUES! It doesn’t matter how nice you are to that Troll he still yells and hangs up in your face like a little teenager that can’t have their way! He’s the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL & UNINTELLIGENT PERSON GOD HAS EVER CREATED! May god have mercy on his pathetic soul! The motor blew in the first car & he puts me in an older car paying 305$ a week now. Well his company didn’t put a gps in the second car & I missed the appointment on Friday bc I have a job like normal ppl and can’t just get off on Friday. I called and asked to come in Monday but *** was busy. Tuesday (Today) *** left a message for me to call him so I did but he was w another customer so I called *** to make sure everything was ok. I mean I’ve only had the car 4 days. ****** answers. I tell him who I am & he IMMEDIATELY STARTS ******* ** *** about missing the appointment. I ask him bc it’s Thanksgiving and I’m out of town caHATEFUn I come Monday. He yells something in his language and then says F it I’ll just come get my shit then hangs up in my face. I HAVE NEVER MET ANYONE ** **** & L. I’ve been a loyal and faithful customer for 3 years being ripped off but still paying. We definitely shouldn’t be treated like this by ******* I’m contacting a lawyer in the morning. This has to be out to a stop. We pay our money and deserve respect. Then I’ve been paying for this car faithfully for 2.5 years and NONE of the payments are reported on my credit like they lied and said it would be. This just isn’t right to be harassed on the holidays.

      Set an appointment to go in and talk to a senior manager and the address I was given was an ABANDONED BUILDING! Called *** and of course ******** **** *** hangs up in my face after stating he’s located in another state and I’ll never find him. INDI CAR & *** NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN FOR FRAUD!

      This month of august is the only month I’ve had to adjust my car payment due date due to me working less hours at my previous job. I recently started a new job on 8/18 and I advised them ahead of time about my payment and how I don’t get paid until 9/8. I NEVER missed any of my payment prior to that & I am currently behind 1 payment that is due EVERY TWO WEEKS with GREATER FINANCIAL RESOURCES. I advised them AHEAD of time that I was going to get it resolved as soon as I got paid. They call and harass me several times a week and both the managers, a female and a man named ****** *s very rude and constantly hang up the phone in my face as I’m talking. If I call back he tells me to “stop calling”. The lady is rude as well and told me “nobody told me to be a single mom” Today 8/29 he called me asking about my car payment, which I know I’m behind (this is my only behind payment) I advised him I was going to pay this one and the one I would have due again on my next pay date. He immediately said “where’s the car and that he is not doing this with me) I have EVERY single receipt of my car payment being made ON TIME and I’ve never been behind a single car payment to recieve this kind of treatment and threaten to repo my car. They also have this loan on my credit but isn’t reporting that I’m even making payments on it as advised by my bank which is unfair. I make every single one of my payment on time. This is my first time ever being behind one payment.

      This place has scam written all over it. I just bought a car July 31, 2023. It's only August 8th, 2023; literally less than 8 days and my car already been shut off 3 times. The car dealership ***** Car) use them as a finance company and Acceptance insurance through select insurance. It's all a triangle scam. Literally. Soon as I made the down payment, I was told I needed insurance so the car salesman put me on the phone with an insurance agent and I bought insurance, my policy and her receipt showed 2 different amounts. Flag 1. After then I drove home and thé car is very dangerous. They will (greater financial resources) will cut your car off for no apparent reason. My car got turned off at a red light nearly causing a crash. Anyway after getting insurance through the organization they recommend, she somehow spelled my last name wrong! I sent in my driver's license and provided her my email address which is my first and last name. At ********* so it isn't possible to get my last name wrong. After trying to update my information, the number that the insurance agent provided me was disconnected and no longer in service. The number I texted to get the policy is inactive as well. To my surprise, my car gets turned off for no mistake of my own. The agent spelled my name wrong after me providing correct documents. It's all part of the scheme. Now I can't contact the agent to update my insurance and greater financial resources turned my car off. And now through no fault of my own I have to suffer a great deal of pain and suffering and lost wages due to me not being able to go to work. Long story short they are causing misfortune purposely to less fortunate individuals at the purpose of recycling the cars. Get as many people as possible to make down payments, get their car picked up and do the same thing all over again.

      They are extremely unprofessional. My loan amount is consistently going up. The manager told me that "I do not have the energy to deal with this today and wont speak to you about it." Then hung up on me. He tried to penalize me for a lapse of insurance, when that was not the case and I can prove that I have never had a lapse of insurance. I have had to spend thousands in the last several years on my truck for a faulty GPS system. Been stuck on the interstate due to issues with this system after medical appointments for my special needs boys. This has taken place numerous times. The manager who says you can not speak to anyone above him is very disrespectful. They claim to report to your credit but they do not, and I have had this checked by several companies.
