      My roof was installed by Marlin Roofing. There have a multitude of issues from rotten wood left, leaking from roof to the garage. They have been here more than 4 times. Assuring me each time it was fixed. I have contacted them by phone and text. I have sent pictures as well. I am getting no response any longer. In the meantime the damage continues to get bigger every time it rains. Any repair they did to the ceiling in my garage is completely damaged beyond repair. And there is even more damage. Also the city permitted them to do their own inspection. I have tried several times to get someone from the city to do an inspection but have been refused. I need this fixed, obviously the issues are getting worse.

      roof nailed down incorrectly spacing and deeped of nails. confirmed by three independent inspection. the removal of solar pool panels and storage priver to reinstall by unqualified personnel the roofing crew. frailer to secure solar part for stoma. damage to water pipe,pool equipment. failed to clean up properly had to be called back to clean up. i picked up over 200 nail, over20 nail inside my shad.

      See all supporting documents from the beginning. Marlin roofing came and put a roof on my home, incomplete. Somehow they managed to get it to pass inspection because they did not tear any of the adhere strips on the shingles, and they did not use the correct amount of nails to hold the shingles. I contacted Marlin Roofing regarding this issue to come and either repair it or refund the finance company I used since they did not complete the job. The hurricane showed us just how terrible of a job they did. SLABS of shingles WITH the tear strips still on them were blowing off my roof. When contacting Marlin about this, they sent me an invoice saying 9/2 with a zero balance taking care of my existing balance for plywood of $115. Apparently, they do not even mention their warranty or give you any warranty information until AFTER your account is at $0. None of which was mentioned by the sales rep or the office. I attempted to contact Marlin multiple times with these issues and they are refusing to call back, refusing to reply to emails, and have even blocked me on all social media from reaching out. What Im requesting is certainly NOT outrageous considering the job is unfinished. Since Hurricane ***, I have had multiple roofing companies come and inspect my roof, and they are all coming to the same conclusion, the roof was done incorrectly, has the same quality as a 20+ year old roof, and are surprised it passed inspection.

      We signed a contract with Marlin to do a new roof on 7/28/21. Job was completed in Nov.. on Sept. 16 I noticed a small group of bubbles on upstairs bathroom ceiling. We called Water Works thinking it was a water leak from a water pipe or air conditioner. He said it wasnt either of those problems. When he inspected the ceiling he cut a small hole to look to see what was causing the problem. He said it was rotten plywood and that was part of the problem. He followed the drip line and saw it was coming from where the wall connected to the roof. No step flashing was installed. Hence, the leak continues. On Monday we called Marlin and sent a picture. On Sunday, a 3x6 foot of ceiling fell. I sent another email and called them on Monday. They sent out someone to caulk the roof. It still leaks. We have called several times and keep getting the response that we are on the list. Meanwhile we are dealing with a leaking roof, mold, and a hole in the ceiling. I have an auto immune system disorder and this situation is making it worse.

      I have contracted Marlin Construction Group to re-roof my roof. Today as they started to rip my old roof off the workers have broke a water pipe in the cealing and water started flooding my home. As I tried to get attention of the workers unfortunately none of them spoke English to communicate what was happening. I called the company office and explained the situation. They have send one of the main contractors to come and check what happened which have taken them over 30 minutes to arrive. After they inspected the water pipe that had a hairline crack they have declined that it was caused by the workers. They simply stated "they are not covering any damages since the house is old and that the workers simply didn't see under thy plywood that a pipe was next to a vent" that they manipulated as they were wripping up the old shingles. They also said since the house is older they had different codes then. However the house passed an inspection 2 years prior to date for establishing a home insurance company. They have also had an adjustors come out and prepare an inspection prior an estimate was submitted to my home insurance. That company has left me with a broken water pipe in my sealing and no running water until I had a plumber came to fix the leak. Damaged sealing and walls in my bathroom, my son's bedroom and living room. After several hours I'm still waiting for the owner to call back and they are closing soon and no call back. Bad customer service!

      I'm dealing with Marlin Roof almost for two years. Asking them to fix my roof which it have lifted shingles around the house, spoke with Mr Aaron the owner of company about a year. He told we will fix your problems, he sent two field manager they took pictures, and they told me we will fix your problems, as today the haven't fix anything, now they're ignoring my call.Also I reported this problem to the attorney general, Gary H******** from attorney general he was reporting to Marlin Roof attorney, his name Scott H**** which he have my deposit of $ 2,500 in the escrow account. It look the Gary H********, can't help me not more. Please Someone to help me to solve this problems.

      This company installed my roof in August of 2021. The 1st day they were here they had to leave early due to rain. After they left I noticed water stains on my kitchen ceiling. I spoke with the owner who told me he would take care of all the damages. He sent the same crew back over. They did nothing and told me that it wouldn't leak anymore. The next morning it was raining again, I notice the water stains were getting larger. They sent someone over who finally fixed the problem. Later that same day they finished the roof. After they left I noticed some of the shingles were warped and looked horrible. I called and told them about the shingles and that the ceiling still needed to be painted. They sent Frank over. He put 1 coat of kilz down. He spilled paint on my driveway. He told me he would remove it. He came back another day but he didn't have any paint to match my ceiling. He told me he'd be back but that was the last time I saw him. That was several months ago. Since then I have called them many times. I'm always told that it will all be taken care of. One of the times I called, I told them I still haven't received the warranty info. They told me the reason I haven't is because they haven't received their money from the insurance co. They have had 2060.00 from me since April of 2021! On June 2nd of this year they sent an email stating that I haven't signed the release of money. I called them and told them that I already signed the release but I will be more than happy to sign another one but not until the issues are resolved. They said that they will put the order in and be in touch. That was over a month ago! I Still have not heard from them!! I want them to finish the ceiling, fix the shingles, remove the paint from my driveway and give me my warranty info. It's been close to a year since the roof was installed! I've been dealing with this company since June of 2019!! I just want them out of my life!

The shingles have not been fixed yet. Nor have I received the warranty. I will keep you updated. I still haven't received the warranty information and the shingles still have not been fixed. And I have not received the extra shingles. I have not heard from then since they were here last on August 1st.

      2021 we were issued a new roof by marlin construction and in our contact it clearly states we were included gutters. we never received gutters and they refused to install them or pay us back for the gutters we had to come out of pocket for.

The gutters were not covered in your claim as the attorneys indicted to us. Customer still has a outstanding balance of their deductible which is now having to be collected through legal means. Refund for gutters that were not covered in the denied settlement will not be issued as they dont exist. It would be the strongly suggested to pay your outstanding balance for the roof installed at your home. The attorney never stated gutters were not included because that would not be the terms of the contract. You have nothing in writing from the attorney stating this because you are just refusing to pay for the gutters. i paid you for the deductible.
