      Business Response

As far as ************************* is concerned, we have been out to her house numerous times and have been dealing with her unfounded complaints for years.  She has no leaks in her roof, it was completed to Florida Building Code and we had a rep from the shingle manufacturer go out to her house to look it over.   The rep said there was nothing wrong with her roof.

We helped her file a claim for excessive granule loss with GAF which they denied.  They did however approve her for a roof cleaning and requested she submit 3 quotes for roof cleaning.  As far as I'm aware she didn't submit any quotes.

All I can say at this point concerning C&S Residential Roofing and their pathetic response to a 5-year ongoing problem. I have made multiple attempts to get ******************* back out to my home. As far as my unfounded complaints. ***** was here several times to replace well shed roof a second time, now I have nails right thru my drip edge also. To replace rotted wood, they covered up on my utility shed not to mention the rest. Another to install my squirrel roof guards that I was promised. Another time to recalk around the electrical pole in question because they left a ditch around it that was collecting water, improper installation. To caulk my gutters that were leaking at the seams because they needed to be removed for the new drip edge that was also installed improperly, they put the new edge right over the old one. Because of this I lost all my gutter guards and the gutter system sustained damages. Another time came out to remove the tar that oozed out on to my drip edge into the gutters. Tar that I wasn't even told they were going to use, and it stinks. Unfortunately, I am waiting on the **** to do their job and file against the building Official now because that's where the problem lies. I've had to get my ************** involved and that report doesn't look good. I have more than one problem here now I can assure you of that and it has become an expensive one. I would have rather been told that they were unable to do the job than have a crew up there that clearly didn't know what they were doing, installing defective shingles, that are old and two different colors. I was promised by C&S their best crew and GAF the manufacture of the shingles told me that C&S was a certified installer with them. It all quite hard to believe. Although GAF offered to clean my roof, I'm smart enough to know you don't clean a new roof that has granular loss, and this has been confirmed by several roofers and inspectors. GAF thinks I'm going to wait until I see complete bald spots, this is an accident waiting to happen. People need to understand there is a lot riding on a final inspection, do not settle for a rollover. That's all for now.
