    Back in June 2021, I was shopping for an insurance for my trucking business through an insurance agent. The insurance agent got me a policy through and insurance premium financing company, DAB premium finance llc. It was my first trucking insurance experience and was led to believe that it was normal to go through a financing company in order to get insurance. I was required to put a large down payment in order to secure the policy. About 6 months down the road, my insurance agent tells me that I should switch insurance to Progressive as they have better benefits. I asked how it will work out for the down payment previously made out to DAB premium and was told that they will calculate my use of the insurance and return the balance to me. I canceled my insurance with DAB premium on 01/24/2022 and as of today haven't received any refund yet, over 100 days now. When I called my insurance agent to complain about it, he expressed to me that the refund check was in the mail, that was 3 weeks ago. After complaining again to him last week that there was no check received, he put the blame on the assistant from DAB premium for the misunderstanding. He decided to make a 3 way phone call with the DAB assistant which assured me that the refund check would be mailed the next day. I trusted her answer and waited again over a week, and still no refund check. We are talking about a mail going from ***** to ******* area. I have called directly the assistant at DAB premium finance, left messages, no one return my calls. I have canceled insurance policies in the past, I have never ran into this kind of nightmare scenario where I am lied to repeatedly. A simple ****** review of this financial company and we can see how dishonest they are with clients.. Another issue is that DAB premium finance is saying that I canceled my insurance at a much latter date than done, and I have the proof of the cancelation date, which will make my refund much less than it should be
