    We (********************** and wife ******) contracted Heney Corp on 9/9/2022 to complete the remodeling in our condo. Due to the substandard quality of work and considerable delays to the project that went unaddressed by ****************, we halted the job on November 2, 2022. We request that Heney Corp/ ******************************* refund $3,500 from the $5,800 deposit paid upon signing the contract. We signed a contract with *******************************, who is representing Heney Corp on September 9, 2022, for the remodeling of the apartments main bathroom, restructuring of the walk-in closet, and flooring throughout the condo. We paid **************** $5,800 as a deposit for the work, 50% of the entire contract value. **************** started the job on September 22, 2022, and committed to finalizing the complete remodeling work in six weeks while working during regular condo working days, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.During the bathroom remodeling project, we encountered several work quality issues (see List 1 below) impacting the bathrooms function, aesthetics, and property value. We addressed each problem with ******************************* on many occasions without resolution. Each time, **************** indicated that he was doing the work the only way possible. Moreover, the project was unreasonably delayed (see List 3 below for details). Work delays were also discussed with **************** many times. However, **************** did not make any adjustments to expedite or try to get the project back on schedule. We made several pleas with ****************, given that we took showers in the common condo areas (pool or gym showers) during the remodeling. On November 2, 2022, six weeks into the project, the work was about 30% done. After several unfruitful conversations with ****************, we decided to terminate the working relationship with Heney Corp/******************************* on November 2, 2022, before he completed the work he was hired to do.
