March 31, 2022 Bay Native Pool Cleaners had failed to keep weekly contracted services to clean pool at ************** in *************, so owner was contacted. Owner agreed to clean pool himself, and failed to show up over a 3 day period to do so after making appointments. Texts are available as evidence. I subsequently hired another ********************* to perform the "Green to Clean" pool restoration and replacement of pool filter. totaling $742.26. I sent a certified demand letter on April 21, 2022 and received no response. Unfortunately I am having to resort to the BBB and file a complaint as this business for me was not reliable and finally failed in every way possible to care for and protect our investment of the backyard pool.

I paid Bay Native Pool for services for May and June, 2022 at $110/month. They stopped servicing on 5/19/22. I am owed a refund of $27.50 for May and $110 for June (total of $137.50). Matt O., owner of Bay Native has been completely unresponsive to emails, calls and texts. He has deleted his email and taken down the company Facebook page. He sold his accounts to Blue Science in June, promising refunds for missed services. Please assist with getting my refund for missed services in May and June.

I have every reason to believe we can resolve this. I'm concerned that the person running this company may have been hospitalized and not aware there were problems. I have not received communication nor have I received services I paid for. I simply asked if the company is still in business and I can move on from here.

    Business Response

Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2022/07/07) */ I received this communication via email on June 11,2022. Nothing else has been communicated. I continue to take care of my own pool at this point. Bay Native Pool and Spa 711 Wesley Avenue STE B Tarpon Springs, FLORIDA ***** This is an email to all current Bay Native customers. I have thought long and hard about how to handle situations that have arisen this year. We, much like any other small business in 2022, have experienced radical staffing issues arising from a lack of integrity and work ethic in the general public. I am a perfectionist and do not settle for anything less than such. The company ran 100% smoothly when I was at the forefront, but lacked attention to detail when I was not. You have not been forgotten or abandoned. This Tuesday we meet with a local company who will be assisting getting everything back on track and take some excess customers from us while we re-group. You will all receive an email of exactly who your service technician will be, and the status of this change. I am blessed to have another business that is thriving, but Bay Native struggling has hurt me considerably. I gave it my all, treated my crew with respect and dignity, and in turn was sabotaged from within by many of those that should have been loyal to me. I am processing refunds for May and June and will be here through the entire process moving forward with the assistance of another service provider. Thank you all for your business and thank you to so many of you for sticking around in 2022 when things got hard. We are here to make sure you are treated right and taken care of. Matt Thanks for choosing Bay Native Pool and Spa.

On 4/1/2022 I emailed Bay Native Pools regarding my weekly care contract not being fulfilled. I have a contract with them to provide pool cleaning service on a weekly basis. This company rarely showed up to do their weekly care. I had cameras installed since they would bill each month for full service. I spoke to Tyler, their manager, about this in December 2022, January 2022, February 2022 and March 2022. Each month he would agree to stop payment and credit back the $100/mo fee but each month they charged us again. After months of ongoing issues, I emailed the owner on 4/1/2022 who promised to resolve the green pool issue and refund the $300. After agreeing to this in writing (see attached email) he has never responded to our emails or calls nor did he ever show up to correct the issues with my pool that his company caused.
