Deceptive Auto Dealership. On Jan 27th, 2024, my 18 year old son and I went to purchase a used 2018 ******** The advertised price $11,200 on ******** Marketplace. After discussions, the dealer agreed 11K incl tax and he would waive dealership fee. I then agreed to deposit 8500 and would finance the small balance over a short time, ONLY to help my son to build a credit history. He drafted the documents and had my son to sign the agreement. We left with the car under the impression all was ok.Three days later I realized the dealer listed the sales price on contract for $16,499 + tax and fees and not the 11k we agreed. When I called him he said well my son agreed to the cost because he signed and he won't change it. I know for a fact that was not true because I was there and told us both 11K. He influenced him where to sign (realizing his inexperience) . We notified the finance company that we did not agree with the dealer to finance such a large balance and they canceled the application and told us to contact the dealer. The dealer is now insisting we pay the balance of $9,721.77 plus tags/fee. We offered to return the car since the financing was canceled and he said we would lose our 8500 deposit. During the negotiation, we asked for open recalls or accidents or a carfax statement and he pulled up a doc on his computer from "AutoCheck" showing 1 minor accident. I later found the car had 3 accidents and was disabled due to being submerged in water! There was also open recall none of which was disclosed. The advertised mileage was incorrect.Do I have grounds for a case? Or do you think based on the attached i would be obligated to settle the balance? I have attached screenshots from FB Marketplace where it was advertised at a cost of 11+tax and fees. Dealer is insisting we pay the balance or lose our deposit. We returned the car on 02/ 12/2024. We just want our money back.

Im working class 20 y.o. female. On 12/26/23 I went to the Kars2Go dealership to finance a car by myself for the first time. Dealer that called himself ***** showed me a ****** Sentra 2019, claiming there are no issues, drives perfectly. I told him, I do not have money on me to do down payment with cash, all I had was my old 2008 ***** Civic Hybrid. I asked:- Do you accept cars for trade-in, since I don't have any money for down payment? I have a 2008 ***** Civic Hybrid - Yes, we can trade it, let me see.He asked his "finance manager" named ************************** gladly accepted my offer. Paperwork and contract signing part. I asked "finance manager" ******:- Do you provide me with a warranty? If the ****** Sentra you are financing me with will be having mechanical and technical issues, are you going to fix it?- Yes, you have a warranty for 1 year and can always come back, we will fix it for you, ma'am I gave them my *****, signed the title(give them my title), signed all the papers and contract. They did not include a Carfax in my paperwork. Dealership did not provide me with a PDF or any online format copy of an agreement and contract. As soon as I drove away, the ****** Sentra started acting up and showing technical issues. Warning light and other icons. I returned with the car (******) to Kars2Go on 12/28/23, to show them the issue so they could fix it as they promised before I signed up for the deal. Upon arriving and explaining the situation, "finance manager" ****** says:- Why are you here then, ma'am? We will not fix it, you do not have a warranty with us, you have a warranty with ****** I drove to ************************************. I explained to ******'s company representatives what dealership Kars2Go have told me, I showed my contract and they were SHOCKED. - Ma'am, you not only do not have any warranty but also there is no evidence nor mentioning of your previous car ***** Civic 2008 trade-in. Here is only cash down, did you give them any cash?- No, I gave them my title, there was no cash involved On the first page, the receipt for the buyer's order says: Down payment - Cash Down $3500. On the financing receipt with the bank it says: Down payment - Cash Down $2500. The section of "Trade-in Information" has no information about my ***** Civic. Kars2Go dealers - "Diego" ************************* and "******" finance manager never gave me the copy of their version of the 2019 ****** Sentra. On my information of the contract it says: Self employed. Which is not true, I provided them information of the company I work for and position. In provided documentations no where copy of financing with the bank was found, only a copy of receipt and mentioning amount of $2500 "cash down". I go back to Kars2Go to ask finance manager ****** why there are so many mistakes on the papers. He said:- It is better this way. Dont worry about different amounts on the buyer's order page and receipt with the bank, it is better for a bank to get you a better rate. Cash down is the same thing as a trade. It was better putting cash down, plus your car was Rebuilt title and you did not tell my ************************* that, so I did you a favor.- I told *****-your ************************* that my car was rebuilt to begin with, thats why I was surprised you wanted to take it without any cash down - Oh you did? It is just documentation, do not worry about it On 01/05/24 ***** Bank (the bank that was supposedly to do finance for ****** sentra 2019) called me to confirm financing. I cancelled. ****** - finance manager contacts me asking to return ****** Sentra to the dealership. I accept his terms in return for my ***** Civic I gave them as a trade-in that was never mentioned on the contract. All he answered:- I don't know what ***** are you talking about, but I explicitly told you and you agreed with it on paper that our company's policy does not refund or return downpayments.I checked the *** number of ***** CIvic -***** is still on my name. I just want justice at this point.

On 06/19/2023, I purchased a **** F150 from this dealer. I agreed to pay cash for the vehicle in the amount of $9000. At no point did I verbally agree to pay any additional amount. However, when I received the paperwork, I noticed that there was an additional $5376 on the paperwork. I didn't fully understand but continued with the process. The dealer gave me a temporary tag and stated that I would receive a tag in the mail within 30 days. As the 30 days started to come to a close, I began to contact the dealer to ask where the tag was with no luck. Finally, due to not being able to contact the dealer, I drove to their location on Monday, July 17, 2023. I asked them where the tag was and registration and I spoke to ***** who stated that I wouldn't receive it until I paid off the balance. I was shocked and didn't even know what balance they were talking about. After reviewing the paper work, I realized that I had been tricked. So, I tried to reason with them and they refused to come to an agreement. I then asked them for the tag, ***** still stated that I could not get it. Another colleague stated that they could. I left the dealer and returned home. My wife called on 07/19/2023 and spoke to ***** who advised her that we cannot get the tag due to the balance on the vehicle. She explained that per ******* law, a dealer has ********************************************************************************************************************** writing. They failed to do so and ***** agreed to do so by the end of day on 07/19/23. He asked for us to text our email so that he can send the documentation and he did not do so. He also stopped responding to text or calls. In order to legally operate the vehicle, proper registration and tag is needed. The dealer failed to register the vehicle as per ******* statutes and I need this to be rectified immediately to operate the vehicle legally. Every day that passes is a day that I cannot operate the vehicle and should be compensated.

The worst dealership ever! So many hidden fees and lies about the car. After the final payment of $500 for the title and registration, and the actual bill was $425 , they are not refunding $75 back. So annoying to ask for my own money for 2 weeks. This place has to be shut down
