Spoke to **** at Kings Moving to get a quote for an apartment move. Communicated that I was merely inquiring about pricing. **** replied that if I booked with him, which included paying a deposit, he would price match if I found anyone cheaper. I agreed and sent deposit. ($125) He said he preferred ***** when I asked him how I would be able to pay with my credit card. Shortly after, I found an identical service that was not only cheaper, but also provided better services. I called **** back to present the deal to price match as discussed. Provided the contract via email as requested. He questioned that the contract was inaccurate, that there must be hidden fees. He called the other company ****************** Moving) as well as myself (twice) to verify. He became angry and very rude when the information ultimately came back that it was a cheaper contract that not only provides the same service, but more. He quickly and very rudely told me hes done I dont have time for this and refused to speak to me. (Over text) I called back next day to formally cancel service based on his behavior and request my deposit back based on broken verbal agreement (price matching). I signed on with him contingent upon the price match offer. He denied my request, yelled, talked over me, and ultimately hung up on me.
