From the beginning the sales representative (her name is ****), was really pushy and felt dishonest. She said it's a very reliable car and there have been no issues whatsoever. **** also said any issues would be fixed prior to delivery date. On the day of the delivery, the car had huge issues (car was jumping, barely drivable) and they had to delay the delivery date by over a week for repairs. When the car was ready and they called me to pick it up, I drove it for a couple days and then the issue started again and they took the car in for a couple of weeks and then I picked up again once they called. After a couple of days the same issue came back and they took it for another long time and when they called me again I came pick it up. A week and a half later, I had another issue with the car and when they asked me to go to their mechanic, I asked the mechanic why this car has so many issues and he said "it's just a bad car". I communicated my concern with the manager and the sales representative ****, they said they can't help me and if I have any problems to call the owner ***** which I did and he claimed he already spent over $2500 on repairs and he's not going to fix the car anymore. I tried to resolve the issue and wanted to give the car back and get my money back OR to fix the car. After my conversation with *****, I asked to see the receipts of the repairs that they claimed they did and they spent a little over $600 on parts and labor. Now I am stuck with the vehicle that doesn't work and I need a reliable car that works so I can use it as my work vehicle and provide for my family.Business Response

Thank you for your email. The client was told from day one that the engine had a small issue that we will fix at free of charge. After fixing the car, the engine had another issue, so we lent him a car and still fixed it again.
The client came this week with a power steering failure with had nothing to do with the engine. After explaining this to the client, he starting claiming that he feels that he wants us to fix it for free.. we explained that we are not the manufacturer and can warranty these cars that are past the warranty dates. Client has refused to pay for the issue. We checked the car for the client for free and even offered to trade it in, but the client is expecting us to give him free repairs for a car that is sold as is.

I am rejecting this response because:From the beginning the sales representative at Kosher Motors located at *************************************** (her name is *** or ****), was really pushy and felt dishonest.
She insisted the vehicle sold to me is a very reliable car and there will be no issues whatsoever on delivery date. On the day of the delivery, the car had huge issues (car was jumping, barely drivable) and **** said that she is very sorry and that they will fix the misfiring issue that they thought was fixed. The original delivery date was on May 7, 2024, and on that same day I couldn't drive the car off the lot.
On May 8, 2024, they told me that the car was ready and when I drove off the lot the same issue happened again and they asked me to bring the car back one more time for repair. And when I brought the car back, I told **** that I don't want this car anymore because of all the issues and she replied that they will take care of everything and that if I am still unsatisfied, the manager (***), will get me another car or refund the money. The car stayed there until May 13, 2024.
On May 13, 2024, I drove off with the car and by May 19, 2024, the same issue happened again and I was stuck in the middle of the highway with an undriveable vehicle. **** ignored my calls until I called the office and asked to talk to her and she asked me to bring the car back one more time and they kept the car until May 24, 2024.
On May 24th, 2024, I drove off with the car again and had the same issue, so she asked me to bring the car one more time to their mechanic located at ***************************************. The car stayed there until May 28, 2024. I picked up the car on May 29, 2024.
Since May 29, 2024, I drove with the car until June 14, 2024 when that same problem happened again and the car was with them until June 30, 2024. After getting back the car again, I drove the car until July 15, 2024 and another related issue happened.
This time, **** completed ignored my messages and calls. When I called the manager, ***, he explained to me that he can't help me anymore and after that I told him that I will have to take legal action because they scammed me and sent me a bad vehicle. Kosher Motors had the car longer than I have since my purchase and delivery date.
*** provided me with the owner of the dealership information which is ***********************, and I tried to resolve the issue with him. However, he tried to say that this issue is my problem the same way if I got a flat tire. But after consulting with Kosher Motor's own mechanic and an additional opinion from a third party mechanic that I sourced myself, both mechanics said that the electrical issue from when I purchased the vehicle back in May 2024 is related to the new problem that happened after driving the car less than a total of 2 weeks.
I lost a lot of working days and money because of the scam that **** and Kosher Motors did to me and my family. It caused me a lot of unnecessary stress that I had to take a loan from my mom to pay out of pocket for the most recent issue that was over $2400.00. This was completed by me out-of-pocket on Friday July 26, 2024.
I also want to make a note that ***** mentioned that the repairs Kosher Motors did was over $2500.00 in repairs but the receipt provided showed only $600.00. This raised a major red flag that they dont provide any accurate or transparent information to consumers like myself.
Sincerely,
Rotem BraBusiness Response

The last invoice was only for the last time we fixed the engine.
1. We also sent it in to fix before that for other parts
2. We gave you a lowner car.. so u didn't miss work
3. You power steering problem has nothing to do with the engine.

I bought a 2014 ******* Santa Fe and a **** warranty from Kosher motors in **********. I put **** down and financed *****. 3 days later the engine broke because they sold me a car with no oil in it. I had it towed to their dealership in August and it is still not repaired. I tried to negotiate returning it to no avail. Since August I have paid all car payments and insurance payments on a car I do not have. I'm 84years old and in poor health. Can I just bring everything to his office?Thank you,***********************Business Response

I don't know how your engine exactly got damaged, But you did have a warranty and ********** out to a mechanic Is who handles warranties. On top of it we loaned you a car which you completely destroyed and gave to your son and he I guess got arrested and had the car towed because the car was full of drugs. We've mentioned to you that you need to come in and pay for the tow and damages of the car that you and your son have caused.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
It is untrue. They had this car since August and now refuse to tell us where it is. Today I called the warranty company that I paid $1,565 to for an extended warranty. The warranty company stated that the warranty does not even exist.

The dealer is not telling the truth. First of all, we had the car for 2 days and it died completely. We understand that they never put oil in the car and the engine cracked. I called up the warranty company that was reflected on my sales slip and they emailed me back after an extensive evaluation that a warranty was never . Purchased. From August 23rd to the present, they have never told me where the car is or showed me the warranty they supposedly issued with the sale. They supplied me with loaner cars that were in terrible shape. One of them I had to buy two tires for which I paid for. As for the loaner car that they are talking about that they say was destroyed, that was not true. The only thing in the car was some clothes belonging to an acquaintance. It is true that the loaner car was impounded due to the fact that they had expired plates on them which we had no idea about and my son was driving with a license that was suspended for a reason that wasn't illegal and the motor vehicle bureau adjusted it. In any event, even if the car was not in good condition, that event occurred months after the original purchase and they would never tell me where the car was, the name of the mechanic fixing it and at one point blocked my phone number so they couldn't even receive a phone call from me. At some point after the supposed destruction of the loner, I emailed them and told them I was interested in purchasing a similar car and they sent me photos of that car I supposedly destroyed. I read all the reviews I could find on them and they are crooks and I have maintained my *************** and have spent about $400 on Uber in order to go to CVS to get medication and to go shopping. So, where is my car?Initial Complaint

I bought a 2009 dodge ram **** from them. They lied and misrepresented the condition of the vehicle. They put me in a vehicle with significant frame damage that they attempted to cover up. The vehicle also had major engine damage that they hid from me. All in all my repairs totaled over $8000 for a truck only worth $****0 in good condition. They have no qualms about lying cheating and stealing in order to make a few bucks. The only reason I did not file a complaint sooner is that my lawyer advised me not to share any info as I was considering legal action.
