I have brought a car from a dealer ship January 8th, 2025 at 7:13pm The car was returned back to the lot January 9th,2025. At 12 noon. Wasnt 24 hours the car was in my possession. The dealer never told me anything was wrong with the car. Engine light came on. Car was smoking from the hood due to a busted water pipe. Asked for a refund they said no. They offered the fix the car but I dont want any cars they have to offer. I am a new mom and was looking to purchase a vehicle that was affordable and safe. On Sept 4th I found the ad on ******** marketplace for the 2019 ****** Corolla. My mom and I went to look at it, at first it looked pretty good. During the purchase of the vehicle we spoke mostly if not solely about the payment method of the vehicle. After a week i started to notice the vehicle had issues. The traction control light turned on, the horn didn't work, the steering was off and shaking, the buttons on the steering didn't work, and there was a noise. On Sept 16 I took the vehicle to ****** headquarters to make sure it was a safe vehicle since it was used. I was told it was a rebuilt and they could not look at it. Had I known it was a rebuilt I would have not left the lot with it. I was looking for something safe for my 3 month old. No where in the purchase agreement does it state that the vehicle was rebuilt, it was not on the ******** ads, nor was it mentioned day of purchase. On the 16th I returned the vehicle but they would not return my money. They said they can switch it for me. I switched the vehicle and took it to my mechanic the same day that I left with it and come to find out that vehicle was unsafe too. On June 22, 2024 I purchased a 2018 Mercedes C class coupe from U-Drive Motors LLC in *********, *******. I put a down payment of $6000 to secure financing through Start Auto Finance because ****** told me thats who they were using to finance me and that was the required down payment for the vehicle. I paid and left with the car that day after paying for insurance as well through them. After two weeks of having the vehicle On Saturday July 6, 2024 the vehicle was repossessed with no explanation while I was at Styx sports bar and grill from their parking lot. I was unaware and was never notified that anything was wrong. After reaching out to the police department they informed me the car was repossessed by U-Drive Motors LLC. I went back to the dealer and ****** who sold me the car wasnt there they said he was on vacation and informed me the sale was cancelled thats why the car was repossessed. Upon learning that I immediately asked for my down payment back which they refused and are still refusing. *** contacted them through email, phone, and in person and nothing has changed. *** filed a dispute with my bank and placed a complaint with the ****************************** in hopes to get this resolved and my down payment back. Also after researching U-Drive Motors LLC after my situation I saw other customers have had similar issues and experiences with them from selling faulty cars, stealing money, not being truthful, and price gauging.Business Response

The vehicle was repossessed because the bank cancelled the deal after giving the customer time to reinstate his *********************** license which was suspended and he stopped answering the phone to the bank and did not reinstated his driver license. Also none of the references listed on the deal were real and or answer the phone to be verified , the car was never parked at the address listed on the contract which was another red flag. Bank did not feel comfortable finalizing the deal rejecting it and ending on a repossession. We tried multiple times to get in contact with him but nothing even contacted his mom but the issues were never resolved.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:I provided everything they asked me to. My driver license was reinstated by the date that they gave me which was June 28, 2024. All my references was real and they even talked to my mom on several occasions which was one of my references. The car wasnt parked at the residence because I was staying at a ****** for the week because there was flooding in the residential area because of a storm and I didnt want the car to get flooded. When I sent in all the information they requested I didnt hear anything back. I never received another call from them. If the deal was canceled the contract is voided and I am supposed to receive my down payment back. The down payment was apart of the deal that was canceled. I reached out several times and did not receive any response. I went to the dealership in person and they told me ****** who sold me the car was out of town and no one else could help me.

We are willing to work with the customer on getting either the vehicle back or another vehicle as long as his driver license is not suspended or cancelled and of course the rest of documents are good (insurance , proof of address and any other tips required by the bank) . As it shows on the paperwork and also explained to customer , the down payment it is not refundable.

I am rejecting this response because:Dear Better Business Bureau,
I am writing to formally request a full refund of the deposit (this is my second request I originally sent an email on July 21, 2024). I submitted to Udrive Motors on July 22, 2024.
The reason for this request is that Udrive Motors did not provide me with a sales contract until July 24, 2024. Additionally, they failed to submit my information to banks for financing the 2018 C300 Mercedes Coupe in a timely manner.
According to Florida law, I should have received the sales contract before any financing arrangements were initiated. The delay in providing the contract and the subsequent failure to secure financing constitute a violation of the terms of our agreement.
I believe that the sales contract was unfair and misleading, and I am seeking a full refund of my deposit.

I financed a vehicle June 4, 2024. The advertised price of the vehicle was $12999 and thats what i was told once i got to the dealership. I was a first time buyer and i was by myself. After hours of being there I rushed to sign the papers because the dealership closed at 7pm and I was there till 10pm. I didnt get a copy of my documents so i had to go back the next day to get them. After reading the documents i was still a bit confused so was others whom I had asked about it. I kept going back to the dealer to the to get an understanding of how my car it went from $12999 to $31000. After understanding all the fees, taxes and warranties that were added including the interest, it still wasnt making sense. The dealer kept saying he sold the car to me for $12999 but after finally getting it i realized that the sales price of the car was actually 1 $18000+ and i was never informed of that. I kept being told it was $12999 but on the documents it said $18000+. The is not worth $18000+. Purchased the vehicle on May 17th 2024 as working condition from the dealer I was never told the vehicle has transmission problems on May 31st 2024 the vehicle completely went dead on the middle of the highway. Had the vehicle towed back to the dealer they called me a day later and told me the vehicle had excess oil and so thats why the car shut down on me, I told them thats not the message displayed on the dash when the car shut down it gave me a gearbox message. Im basically left stranded with no vehicle to do my work and Im on the verge of being fired because Im a private investigator and my company requires us to have our personal vehicle for the job. I went to this dealership 8/19/2023 and did tge usual test drive a truck I was interested in. I told the salesperson that I wanted an *** price and that I was approved with a lender they deal with. He obtsined my drivers license, ss# and ran a crefit check after I told him that my credit union was willing to finance once I got the *** price. The issue is they rsn my credit unecessarily, they have my personal information and they seem not trustworthy. It is Monday 8/21/2023 and tge truck was "sold". I beleive they are getting Americans citizens personal information to create fraudulent I.D.S etc for illegal undocunented people. They need to be investigated for ID fraud, etc.Business Response

April 18, 2023.I paid $4,000.00 down payment to purchase a car.The dispute is that I flew down to purchase a vehicle from this business after speaking with the salesman 2 days prior to flying down and purchasing. Once i get there the salesman says the car sold 2 days prior. They then interested me in an alternate vehicle that i paid 4k down on with financing approval. A week later they said the finance company did not approve me but they found a totally different finance company that will approve me but i have to pay more money down and the price for the vehicle is now higher. The finance manager then started harassing and pressuring me to sign the new contract and told me that I needed to bring the car back and when i asked for my money back he said no they aren't giving anything back. About a week later I finally found the owner's information after asking ******(finance manager) for it several times and he did wish to provide it, ********************(Owner) stated that after I explained everything to her she said she would look into after she also stated there's a 4k restocking fee and that's why i couldn't get my down payment back. I explained to her that i was willing to work things out but I wasn't going to be pressured into signing a new contract with the cost of the same vehicle 6k higher and they wanted more money down. She said she was going to just repo the car and that I wasn't getting my money back as well. How can you repo a car and you don''t want to give me money back. I also explained to her on our first conversation that after two days the car check engine light came back on and there were pungent gas fumes coming through the air vents and after reporting it to the sales guy he said, "just take it to a mechanic shop and get it checked. The check engine light was on before I took delivery of the car and they said they would have their mechanic fix it. Since May 10 she/team has stopped all communication. My girl and I bought a 2014 jeep wrangler on 7/12/2021 for $37,592.00 with $11,900 as a down payment, in good faith that the vehicle was in safe and proper working order. Within the first 3 weeks, we noticed the strut was missing the bolt that connects it to the strut brace on the passenger front side of the vehicle (severely dangerous!). Following that the vehicle's head gaskets blew under normal operating conditions which forced us to spend just over $5,200 in repairs and incurred lost wages from my job. we contacted them immediately because they had a return policy which they stated was good for anything but in turn, was only good if the bank does not Approve financing (which is very peculiar). Additionally, we had to call them over 5 times to try and speak with someone about it and when we did, their answer was the insurance we bought from them will cover it "that's why they sell it" which the insurance did not cover any of it nor would not. that was all in the 1st month before we even made our first vehicle payment. This is the 3rd month in and the car is currently in the shop as a write this. i KNOW I WON GET ANYTHING OUT OF THIS BUT IT IS IN HOPES IT CAN SAVE SOMEONE ELSE THE ******Business Response
