      On 1/12/24, the company had a repair technician check on my refrigerator. It needed a new part and would take about a week to get in. I paid for the part and service in advance- a total of $812.70. After months of me checking in and them saying it will be another 2 weeks, they finally said the part would not be coming in and they would issue a refund. They claimed it could take up to 30 days for the refund. That was on 5/30/24. On 7/5/24, they said my card information was incorrect. I gave them the updated card info and was told it would be processed that same day and pending in my account within 24 hours. Today, 7/10/24, it is still not pending or in my account. They haven’t answered the phone or any messages.

      This customer received a refund on 07/10/24 as promised due to a back ordered part for her refrigerator which the manufacturer is no longer making. The customer was aware it was on backorder in January and was offered a refund in February but she opted to wait and see if the manufacturer would ship it. At the end of May / beginning of June I informed the customer that the manufacturer was not supplying an ETA and I felt it wise to buy a new unit and issue the refund. She agreed. The refund was issued on 07/10/24. There was a delay in processing the refund due to her credit card changing numbers.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I doubt I would have received any refund from the company had I not filed this complaint. Their excuse for refund delay was invalid, as I had given them my updated card information earlier and no actions were taken until this complaint was filed.
