I have been a victim of identity theft. My information has been exposed in the Equifax data breach. The account is not affiliated with me nor received any money, goods, or services as a result of identity theft or authorized by me and I would like this to be removed from any affiliation with me immediately.

This is not a "complaint" *** ****** needs to file a dispute with the Credit Bureaus. In the meantime, I will pull a copy of the signed agreement and mail it to him. Also, if *** ****** still thinks this is fraud he will need to file a police report and provide it to us.

March 18, 2018, this collection was placed on my credit reports without my written consent. This violates my rights under the FCRA. I agreed to pay with agreement that the collection would be removed. This has not been upheld and I request this be deleted off my credit reports.

Placing an unpaid item on someone's credit does not need "consent" from that person. You failed to pay for a debt and probably would never have paid it had it not been reported. When you called us on November 16th 2020 you were advised we would not be allowed to remove it from your credit even if it was paid, at which time you hung up on our associate. You called and paid the debt in January 21 and were told we would update the credit bureaus to show the account was paid in full which we have done.

I am not liable for this debt with (CURRENT CREDIT INC) and I do not have a contract with (MG CREDIT) plus they did not provide me with the original application like I asked. Account No: ****** Amount Disputed: $297

**** ***** is not being truthful in *** statement. We received *** account from our client on 11/1/2021 at which time we sent *** notice the account was in collections and the balance was owed. On 12/07/2021, we received a letter from **** ***** requesting a copy of the contract. We mailed the signed contract to *** on 12/10/2021. On 2/10/22 **** ***** called our office and said she mailed us a money order for the balance a month prior to which we advised *** we have not received it and to provide a copy of the receipt from *** bank w***e she purchased it from. On 2/16/22 she said she would call *** bank and get a copy of the receipt or have them resend it. On 3/9/21 **** ***** advised us the bank told *** the money order was never cashed. Now she is claiming she is not responsible for the debt and does not have a contract with us. That part she is correct about, she does not owe MG Credit for *** signed contract. She does however owe our client Current Credit for the contract she signed with them and we are the collection agency they have retained for the recovery of *** debt. The account will remain on *** credit as a disputed unpaid debt.

In dispute with a Gym Membership over charges during Covid19 and Closed Gym with no use, my account was sent to MG Credit for collection. They made contact with me at the end October 2021 I requested proof of this collection and attempted to settle the account so it wouldn't reflect on my credit. **** ******* declined my attempt of immediate settlement of the $183.00 balance and would agree to full balance with monthly payment terms. I received the collection letter from MG Credit from Jacksonville Florida to me in Virginia regular mail on Fri 11/5/2021. I called Mon 11/8/2021 and asked how to pay the agreed upon payment, **** instructed to to use their online Portal. Tues 11/9/2021 I called back and emailed because the online portal didn't work and I asked where could I mail payment. **** didn't know and got his Supervisor on the line. I was told not to mail it yet, ***** Supervisor said they will mail me envelopes for my payments. I informed him I have my own envelopes, he (Supervisor) stated it would make it easier for them to apply my payment when received in their envelopes. He changed my agreement date to give time to receive the envelopes. During this process I'm responding making attempt to pay the agreed upon terms staying in contact and they still placed the account on my credit anyway with a agreement in place. When I received the alert from the Credit Bureau I called **** again and emailed inquiring why the account was just placed on my credit within days after our agreement. ***** responded back stating they could put this account on my credit whether or not I had an agreement in place. That was NEVER stated to me in making this agreement, nor during any conversation or correspondence as I made clear I wanted to resolve this matter prior to prevent it going on my credit report.

We received this account from our client on 8/3/21, we sent **** ******* a letter explaining the balance was due. **** ******* called us on 10/20/21 to discuss her account. She disputed the balance at which time we mailed her a copy of her contract. The club did temporarily close just like everyone else had to during covid. Members were given 3 months credit to their memberships while the club was closed less time than that. This was a 2 year membership signed so the members were given an extension not a cancelation. **** ******* did attempt to make a payment on our website but the minimum amount was not met to process the payment. We did give **** ******* the payment arrangement she wanted but she would have had to pay the balance with in 90 days of the account being placed in order to keep it from being reported. In total **** ******* was given 7 months since her last payment before anything was reported.

Mg Credit sent me a letter stating that i still owe $2,749.00 which was already paid 9 months ago, so i called ************** and spoke with ***** **** which was very rude from the start, i gave him my account number:****** and the amount and asked if he needed the receipt showing the amount been paid almost 10 months ago he told me no and that he was going to check with the supervisor to make sure it wasn't a duplicate because people always lying about if they padi something off or not, so i was like excuse me there is no need to lie about this amount and i'm willing to send proof his words was we don't know about that,so he hung up in my face after yelling that his boss was going to look into it after 2 hours call back,

I have reviewed this account and from what i can see it does appear to be a duplicate listing. I am in the process of contacting our client to confirm this and to see why they would have placed an account that was already paid if it is in fact a duplicate. Unfortunately, we have no control over what is placed by our clients but i intend to get an answer for **** ***** as soon as possible. At this time we have not reported this account and i will be placing a hold on it so we can confirm with our client that it is in fact a duplicate of the previous account. I will be contacting **** ***** myself as soon as i am given an answer.
