House fire occurred January 18th, we have been homeless with 3 children for nearly a month awaiting the payout from the insurance company to begin restoration and repairs with very little communication in the process. insurance company finally issued the check to us and our mortgage company. Officer at the mortgage company assured me it was okay for us to begin restoration and repairs on the home while awaiting the insurance check. Now mortgage company is withholding insurance payout until all restoration and repairs are proven complete by a 3rd party inspector. We have drained every dollar we had on living expenses and restoration expenses the last month while awaiting this payout, we financially cannot possibly continue let alone complete the home repairs and hire an inspector without this payout. it was explained to me that these funds are mine and triad holds no ownership over them. we are homeless with 3 kids in the meantime.

This company took over our loan from our local modular home park a couple months ago. I have called them every day because they say we are behind in payments. I have copies of the checks being cashed by the park. Plus we are in the process of buying a home and have asked for a copy of a pay off and a copy of a title. When I call I wait 30 plus mins to talk to someone. I ask for a copy and they charge me $10 for a copy of the title and they say they would email it to my wife and for the past month we have never received it. We are getting burned out on what to do with this company because nothing is being fixed. Is says we are behind in payments, don't receive paperwork for our broker to sell our home, getting charged for paperwork, charging us to make a payment. This is our last effort. The company doesn't want to work with you on trying to rectify this issue.

In March of 2020 I sent in a cashier check payment for $2000 to cover 5 months of mortgage payments. I sent a letter with the check stating that it was for 5 months of rent covering the months of April-August, I then submitted another payment in September. I started receiving notices about missed payments in August and tried to contact them through there messaging system and through phone calls to figure out why I was receiving these letters but received no response for over 2 months until I posted a negative review on Google, then someone finally reached out to me to tell me there messaging system had been down and that they had been unaware. I was assured my late payments would be fixed and my credit report updated. A year later I am still fighting this and am now being told that they can"t reverse the hits on my credit even after I was told it would be fixed by their employee. I would just like my credit fixed like I was told it would be in the beginning.

Please accept the following response on behalf of our company:

      Dear Mr. *********:

We are in receipt of your inquiry dated 9-29-2021 requesting that Triad issue a correction to your credit report.

On behalf of Triad Financial Services, Inc., I want to apologize for the delay in resolving this issue for you.

Please accept this letter as written confirmation that Triad’s Customer Service Manager, *****, reviewed your account and confirmed that the credit report correction you requested was originally submitted, but it seems that a clerical error in October of 2020 unknowingly caused the continuing issues with your credit report.  ***** has confirmed that the clerical error has been corrected and that should permanently correct the issue.  Triad will submit a manual correction to the credit bureaus to fix the ongoing problem.  A customer service representative contacted you with an explanation of the problem and provided an update on the actions taken to correct your credit report.

Once again, I apologize for the delay in responding to your inquiries.

We have a mortgage loan through Triad that we have always paid on time through electronic check pay. Apparently they changed the payment address in June or July. We paid two months to the wrong address, and then recieved phone messages from their collection department starting September 9, to call them back. I tried several times to call them back and finally got ahold of them on the 16th. He explained about the change of address, and said we were not the only ones this happened to. But that was after they reported us to the credit bureau. It affected my wife's credit score, which was in the high 700's, now it's in the low 600's, I am not sure about mine yet. They should have called and left a message stating their intent to change the payment address . We have always had great credit, in the past, because we have never missed a payment on our loans, ever. Now our credit is poor, and this will certainly affect our future finances.

Please accept the following response on behalf of our company:

      Dear Mr. ****:

We are in receipt of your inquiry dated 9-18-2021 requesting that Triad correct the pay history on your credit report.

On behalf of Triad Financial Services, Inc., I want to apologize for the credit reporting issue stemming from the change of payment address.

Triad notified you in writing on your monthly statement of the change of payment address and of the fact that your account was showing two month’s payments were due and that the account was in delinquency.

Triad’s Director of Collections, ****, has confirmed that Triad attempted to contact you by phone on 9/9/2021 regarding the delinquency reflected on your 8/13/2021 monthly statement.  Triad received a response from you on 9/16/2021, and at that time you immediately resolved the delinquency issue.

In consideration of your payment history and the recent change of payment address, Triad will update the credit bureaus to reflect your pay history as current.  It is important to note that updates to the credit bureaus are not instantaneous.  Corrections to the credit bureaus are submitted on a monthly reporting cycle and each credit bureau has to independently process the file and update their individual systems before you can actually see the updates.

Once again, I apologize for the delay in responding to your inquiries.

If I can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact me at ************** * ****.

      Sincerely,

      ******** ** ******
