I originally went to Beaches Gentle Dentistry because of pain in tooth. *** ***** ***** informed me I'd need a root canal ASAP and started my procedure with a 'baby root canal.' I was told I'd need to put $1000 down on my procedure and then when scheduling my root canal I'd need to pay the remaining $1300 before I could have the procedure. I felt pressured by Beaches Dental Dentistry into paying for the procedure. They told me that I would get refunded the difference of the procedure by my insurance. After leaving the dentist and paying $1000. I talked to a rep at Delta Dental and I was advised by Delta Dental to go to a different dentist to finish my procedure because Beaches Gentle Dentistry was sending me out of network for my root canal and the cause of having to pay so much money out of pocket. At the advice of the Delta Dental Representative I talked to over the phone, I ended up getting my root canal and crown through a completely different provider, *** ******. When *** ******'s office submitted to insurance for my crown, they could not do so because according to my insure "I'd already filed for a crown with Beaches Gentle Dentistry and I can't file again on the same tooth for five years." With this being the case they asked me to pay in full for the crown I received. I'd never gone back to Beaches Gentle Density and they're claiming the insurance money for the crown as if I'd received it. Insurance advised me to contact Beaches Gentle Dentistry to remove the claims and refund the remainder of my initial $1000 payment. After talking to Beaches Gentle they said they would refund me the difference of $450 but not take back the claims from insurance. This is is INSURANCE FRAUD. I now cannot file for the crown I actually received with *** ****** and Beaches Gentle is keeping the money from insurance for a procedure I never had. After further research on *** ***** ***** it has come to my attention that she has gotten in trouble for a similar issue in the past.

Good afternoon, I apologize for not responding. I’ve been trying to gather more information for the complaint. My main complaint is that Beaches Gentle Dentistry is not taking back the claims from insurance. I am more than happy to pay for the work that’s been done. But they are refusing to remove the claims from insurance for work that I never received.
