    I have interviewed Frank ******* the owner of frank drywall LLC about removing popcorn ceiling and interior painting. I have explained to him that I will be out of town with my family for one week from 8/13 to 8/20. I asked him if this job can be done within one week and he said he will be completely done with the ceiling within one week and he needed 2-3 more days for the painting. I emphasized the importance of time sensitivity because I have 4 kids and they cant be in the house while this job is being done as it creates a lot of dust. Frank understood and assured me he will get it done. I also booked a hotel for my family for 4 days after our return to ************ as he told me he only needed a few extra days. I gave him a deposit for $6900. I also spent $3200 on the paint as he asked me to buy it on my own. The paint has been sitting unopened in the garage since then. He showed up the first day to pick up the check while I was out of town and he hasnt started the job. Only 25% of the ceiling had only one coat during that week and nothing else was done. He only worked for 1-2 days that week and never showed up.I called and texted several times. He called me back once saying that he is sick. I asked him if hes sick why does the rest of his team arent working. He said he only has a few helpers. I would like a refund for my deposit.

    client hired frank drywall llc to do his ceilings i wrote him a contract with everything elaborated on it as in what it is that we are doing for   x  amount of money also in the contract we have the scope of work section which details step by step what it is we are doing it is also in order of what we are doing step by step for the  x  amount of money well customer received contract i told him he could esign directly on the link and we agreed on starting the project the following day now the day goes by and it is the following day and we arrive at the property customer leaves us a key hidden because he was going on vacation when we enter the property i call customer to let him know we had entered the residence and we were getting started on the project before we hung up i told customer hey i have not received the signed contract can you please sign it as soon as you can customer says oh my god i totally forgot i will do it as soon as i get back to my hotel so i replied ok thank you enjoy your vacation  he did not sign contract that day the following morning i called him ad asked for the signed contract and again i forgot give me a few and i will take care of it he replied to me 3 days later he starts trying to add different things for us to also do for the same amount we had spoken about verbally and on the contract that he still has not signed so i advise customer that what he is requesting is not on contract and that would be a add om which would be a additional cost he starts screaming at me and thats when i told him that i needed contract signed or i couldnt keep going forward with the project do to the reason that we have already done more work then what the amount he has given in a deposit and that i needed the agreement signed so he replies ok but add this to the contract and add that i told him again that it was a extra cost and he said he wouldnt sign contract if i didnt add the extra work he wants us to do for the same cost so i advised him that we were going to pick up are equipment and that the project was being placed on hold until he signed are agreement he hung up the phone we picked up and left the property he never signed the contract and we never went back taking a loss do to the job was further along then what he had given as a deposit
