    We contacted R&R Fence to provide us a Fence on August 18. After HOA approval we sent a deposit in the amount of $1419.00 to **** with an install date of Saturday Sept. 28. On this date we received a text message saying he would not be able to make it and asked for Sunday. On Sunday the contractor was a no show. We re-scheduled for the following Saturday and again it was a no-show, and scheduled for Sunday. On Sunday we received no communication, until we reached out and at that point asked for a refund. As of today which is over 2 weeks later, we have not received a refund, and have been told that he is "running behind" each time we ask, if we even get a response. We did NOT receive a fence or even the materials, lost our deposit so far, and just poor customer service.

    Paid deposit of $978.00 for fence install in June for July 18 install. No call, no show. After multiple attempts to contact, delayed responses, failed promises, and excuses, I asked for a refund. he stated he would refund my money on 8/1/24 but never refunded my deposit. I have texts to prove this. I have placed a dispute with my credit card company. Further evidence regarding this mans character and criminal activity lies within review of the BBB website and ********. It appears he has taken quite a few deposits from people and never installed any fence or provided them with refunds.

    We contacted R&R Fence Services to install a fence. We paid $1972 on May 9th, 2024 as a deposit for the installation. **** ******* (owner) scheduled to come out on Monday June 17th. **** did not show up on Monday June 17th. He rescheduled for Tuesday June 18th. **** did not show up on Tuesday June 18th. He rescheduled for Wednesday June 19th. **** did not show up to do the installation on Wednesday June 19th. All of these times, we had to reach out to him to see where he was as he just didn't show up. At that point, we asked for a refund on Wednesday June 19th. He told us on Thursday June 20th that he would give us the refund by Friday June 21st. We did not receive a refund and have reached out on Monday June 24th, Wednesday June 26th, Friday June 28th with no response. As of Monday July 22nd, we have reached out no less than 12 times and have not received any call or text back and we still have not received a refund.

    On April 10, 2024, I paid a $1602 deposit to R&R Fence Services, operated by **** *******, for a fence installation. This payment was based on an invoice and quote provided by **** *******. After the payment, I experienced a complete lack of communication from the business for a couple of weeks. When I started to check in and ask about scheduling the installation, **** provided various excuses and repeatedly promised to complete the installation “this week” or “tomorrow.” Despite these promises, two months passed without any action. I contacted the Homeowners Association (HOA) in my community to check if there was any progress on the approval for the fence installation. I discovered that **** had not submitted any paperwork to the HOA for approval. I gave **** one more chance to fulfill his commitment, but once again, he did not show up as promised. On June 18th, 2024, I requested a refund of my deposit. Since then, **** has twice promised to return my deposit but has not done so. He has also stopped responding to my calls and texts since June 24th, 2024. The nature of the dispute is that R&R Fence Services has failed to deliver the agreed-upon service and has not refunded my deposit despite multiple requests. The business has not made any genuine effort to resolve the problem, and I am now considering legal action to recover my funds. It is not acceptable for a business to take money from customers without delivering the promised service. I am filing this complaint to seek assistance in obtaining my refund and to prevent others from experiencing similar issues with this business.

    I hired R&R fence services own by ******* (aka ********************. He came to my house on the 3rd week of April to do an estimate of replacing my old fence in my backyard. His estimate was $9,100.00 to replace the whole backyard fence. So, I agreed to hire him and he wanted a partial payment of $4,550.00. I wrote him a check for that amount in April 18/2024 which he cashed within 2 days. He said he will start doing the job on May 20th 2024. But May 20 came a went. He did not show up, thats when my stress and frustration started with this guy named ****. He would only make excuses and promises for delaying the work. Now its been almost 3 months since i gave him that down payment of $4,550.00 and still no fence. I asked him to just give me my money back, so I can hire somebody else. That was 6 weeks ago. just promises that he would give me my money back. Now its July 10-2024 still he hasnt given me my money. I feel like Ive been scammed by this guy named ****. I think this guy is con man a ***** and a cheat. Dont hire this *************** of R&R Fence Services. Now Im in the process of taking legal action with this guy.

    I was looking for a company to complete my vinyl fence and this company was recommended in my neighborhood. However, I paid a 50% and kept having to follow up on when I could request an appointment. Further, they never showed up and I had to chase them down for four days. The owner apologized rescheduled and every time I followed up there was an excuse for why they couldn't complete the job. Then I asked for a refund and every time I contact them no one answers but I received several message saying my money will be sent to me today or tomorrow but they never send it back.

    On March 4, 2024, I engaged R&R Fence with a payment of $2,975.00 for the installation of a fence around my property. Following the necessary approval from the HOA on April 6, 2024, I promptly informed them, and we scheduled the installation to commence on April 18, 2024. However, they failed to show up as agreed. I attempted to communicate with them via text messages on April 18, 19, 22, 25, 26, 29, May 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, and 15, only to receive a different excuse each time. Despite expressing my dissatisfaction and requesting a refund, they persist in delaying with promises of future visits. At this point, I've lost confidence in their reliability and professionalism. I expect a prompt refund and seek to engage with a contractor who values integrity and follows through on their commitments.

    January 24th is when they charged our credit card for the fence service of $7,450. January 29th is when the hoa approved the fence. He then told us he would come out that Friday to install and it would take 2-3 days. It now has been 2 months and nothing but 1/2 of a fence completed. Terrible communication. He keeps telling me the days him and his men will come and complete the work and he’s lied every time with no shows and excuses. This is a very deceitful company. We contacted other fencing companies to come out and said the work is done incredibly poorly. We have a broken irrigation pipe from them and the fence post are not level and some of the material is broken. The other fence companies were shocked. We also can’t get another company to complete the work because most companies will not finish a job they didn’t start. Most likely it causes warranty issues. We’re incredible upset and this company could care less. We just want them to complete the job.
